Our stay at the cabin named, "Hanging A'round", made me feel like I was one with nature. The cabin is located in the woods and the sounds of the lake, the birds, the creatures in the night was ahhh sooo relaxing. One thing I really liked was that you could easily open lots of screened windows to let the full scent & sounds of nature in. I was also nice that even though the cabin was stuck right dab in the middle of the forest-we still had a paved road to it. :) Well stocked with all the neccessities. Folks we spoke to around about were nice and friendly. I loved the game room downstairs. Air hockey was my favorite! I definitely recommend this place if you truely want to escape from it all. Only "you" decide if you want to connect to that wifi. ;)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The proximity to Betty Kay Lake means you have an opportunity every day to walk down to a serene, quiet mountain lake and enjoy the outdoors. We hiked in the community, enjoyed the golf, and saw many waterfalls. The kitchen was very convenient and we loved the big porch. A wonderful stay, thank you!!

We returned once again to this wonderful cabin. Words can not describe how relaxing it is. We awoke one morning to 5 deer walking around behind the cabin and watched as they walked to the lake. I can't think of a more beautiful sight. We made a trip to Elements Spa and fell asleep during a great couples massage and the best part is that we received a 10% discount because of staying here. Once again, this will not be our last trip and already looking forward to our next one..hopefully very soon.

We just returned from "Hanging A'Round". We loved it! PROS: The house was in good condition; the game room was fun; two ponds are a very short walk away; my son caught several bream in Betty Kay Lake; we saw several deer within the Sherwood Forest community; the par-3 golf course was very enjoyable and reasonably priced, and the greens were even bent-grass and surprisingly well conditioned!; the staff at Sherwood Forest Golf Course was extraordinarily kind and accommodating (the guy even cleaned our shoes after the round!); even the folks at the convenience store across the street were super nice; it was simply a wonderful community...even the transplanted yankees were pleasant!; the drive to Brevard was pleasantly short (about 15-20 minutes) and quite beautiful CONS: (very minor) The cable TV wasn't working when we first arrived (however, the folks at Top of the Falls Realty immediately took control and resolved the problem, so now it's fine.); the fish were hungry, but very small; there were very few bass in the lakes, and they were too small to even take a standard Zoom Finesse Worm! hahaha; the pool table wasn't level, so eventually all the balls would end up in one corner! hahaha As stated, the CONS were very minor, especially compared to the PROS and the price of the place. All-in-all, our experience was far better than we expected. WE WILL BE BACK!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hanging around. the house is nicely decorated, and is conveniently located to the waterfalls. We ate at Hob Nob in town and had a great meal. Try it! The gas fireplace is great for warming up! We loved it and will be back

Loved the house, well provided. Game room was terrific for the grandchildren's entertainment. Take the "Morgan's Creek" hiking trail for a real treat, see the "Fickle Trickle" waterfall. We plan to return here soon.

We enjoyed our stay in your cabin. We came to these parts to view waterfalls. We saw around 20 of them and hiked over 11 miles in the process. The kids loved the gameroom and we learned we have pool shark in the family. Thanks so much!
