Beautiful beachfront unit! Only one of seven units in this Gulf front paradise! This is a tremendous location for getaways with family and friends. Very private - no public beach access anywhere nearby so the gorgeous white sand beach is yours!
Complex was built in 2000 and features a heated pool. The condominium was redecorated in 2007 with new carpet, paint, crown molding, linens, etc . . . New living room furniture and plush KING SIZE BED in Master Bedroom and plush QUEEN BED + Twin Bed in 2nd Bedroom! Unit opens up to another 2 bedroom with double doors if 2 units are needed by the same group.
Enjoy the beach side shuffleboard court, the tiki bar and tiki hut tables waterside with new chaise lounges at the pool as well as on the beach. Unit is just a few steps from many intercoastal restaurants and the best breakfast on the beach! Poolside refrigerator to keep your beverages cold and close by!

Why the Owner Chose Sand Isle I
Indian Rocks Beach is simply Paradise! We purchased this vacation rental because of the privacy of the beach in comparison to the other condos which are so much larger and more crowded. Our building has only 4 units and the nearest public access to a beach has only parking for 4 vehicles! Beautiful, serene beach and pool area makes this the perfect beach vacation!

This was my first experience with VRBO and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The owner was very pleasant to work with and she was happy to answer every question I had about the condo. The condo was very clean and accommodated our group of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) comfortably. The ocean view is gorgeous! Everything you would need is supplied in the condo and the grocery store is just a 5 minute drive away if you wanted to stock the fridge with food. I loved the relaxed atmosphere surrounding the condo. It’s off of a 2 lane road so you don’t have to worry about crossing busy highways to get to the various shops and restaurants around. I wanted something away from all of the busy tourist areas and this was the perfect place. The beach was never crowded and my girls (ages 11 and 7) had a blast splashing in the heated pool and ocean waves. We took a day trip down to Ft. De Soto Park (20 minute drive south) and walked out on the long fishing pier where we were surprised to see many dolphins swimming around the pier. It was such a sight and there were plenty of opportunities to snap pictures of the dolphins. We took another day and drove out to Universal Studios. It took us about 1.5 hours to get there and the traffic wasn’t bad at all. I loved that I could use the condo as “home base” and travel around to the many different points of interest in the area. I’m so happy we decided to stay at Sand Isle 1 and we can’t wait to head back there next year.

What a beautiful ocean view. There was plenty of room. You can walk to anywhere you want to go. It was nice to have covered parking. We have 2 mini dachsunds, so it was great because the dog park was just across the street. Very convenient. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived and there is plenty of room. All accessories were there, even down to the laundry detergent! Very impressed. Will definitely stay there. The pool was kept very clean as well. It was nice to be able to ck in early. That means a lot when you have pets, plus you dont feel like you've wasted a whole day you pay for.

We stayed in this unit the month of December 2010. The unit itself is great and the location couldn't be better. The downfall was the maintenance staff employed there. The pool was never heated as advertised. They ended up replacing the pool heater at the end of my stay...just a little too late. The maintenance crew actually climbed the spiral stairs one morning and took measurements of the balcony. I really wish he would have knocked on the front door before during so. The pool area was neglected even though the complex was 90% occupied. WIFI did not work half the time. Parking is VERY tight.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

The condo was as beautiful as the pictures, nicely appointed, clean and spacious. Pool was very nice..enjoyed playing shuffle board and walks on the beach; also utililized the gas grill by the pool for a beachside dinner. Enjoyed drives to the other towns to see what they had to offer, enjoyed the bird santuary just down the road and spending the day at Johns Pass Village. We brought our small dog and took advantage of the dog parks in the area..especially the one at Sand Key Park. If you bring your small dog, you will need to utilize the dog parks as no dogs are allowed on the beach (strickly enforced) and it's safer for them than walking on Gulf Blvd.

Spent two weeks in this condo with a fantastic ocean view. Indian Rocks Beach is a quaint "beach town" in the Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Tampa area. Largo, Florida is just over the drawbridge for grocery shopping or if you feel the need to go to a mall or movie. The condo has all the comforts of home. The beach is beautiful and uncrowded. An extra nice touch was the availability of lounge chairs for the beach. Also, being able to park under the building is a plus.

We stayed at Sand Isle the first week of March, 2011 and it was just perfect for us! It was right on the beach and had a great heated pool that our 21 month old loved. The layout of the condo was perfect and we had more than enough room. It was also very clean with wonderful beach decor and came with all the appliances and kitchen items that we needed. It is also very close to restaurants and shops, our favorite being Lighthouse Doughnuts, which was right across the street. We hope to return to Indian Rocks Beach in the future and return to Sand Isle I!
