A rare combination of amenities exists at Lei Aloha, a special retreat in Princeville, on the north shore of Kauai. Gates lead into a private courtyard, completely enclosed by a stucco wall and tropical plants, including plumeria, heliconia, gardenia, and torch ginger. In the center of the courtyard is a 16’ x 40’ swimming pool, a great way to cool off.
Upon entering this custom-built home, guests are greeted by a magnificent view of towering Norfolk Island Pines that sway in the breeze. These graceful giants, framed by the soaring windows of the great room, flank the 6th fairway of the Woods nine of the 27-hole Makai Golf Course.
Lei Aloha is a comfortably and tastefully appointed home that has been professionally decorated with thoughtful attention to detail. This breezy, Hawaiian home of over 3200 square feet will generously accommodate your family and friends in four bedrooms and three and one-half baths, which will comfortably sleep eight guests. One master suite and two guest bedrooms are on the first level, all opening onto the courtyard and the pool through French doors.
An additional bedroom is located on the second level, and features a deck that overlooks the pool to the distant Bali Hai view. The master bedroom suite in a private wing of the home is furnished with a king-size Tommy Bahama bed. This suite is complete with a spacious bath with double sinks, a Jacuzzi tub and separate marble shower.
This suite also features 26" LCD television and DVD. A gracious desk overlooking the pool is the perfect spot to address postcards or set up your laptop computer. An additional king suite features tropical intrigue and romantic drama with the graceful draping of mosquito netting around a bamboo bed. The queen suite with private marble bath features a walk-in shower.
The fourth bedroom (upstairs) has two twin beds, as well as a desk to facilitate working from your vacation home, if you insist! All bedrooms have digital cable television. This property has Brazilian cherry wood floors throughout this light, airy home, designed for easy living. A separate laundry room with washer and dryer is available for your convenience. The two-car garage on an automatic opener makes handling groceries and luggage a snap!
This home is equipped for your entertainment with stereo, digital cable TV, DVD and high-speed internet access throughout the house. The property is oriented to take advantage of refreshing trade winds that keep the home a comfortable temperature. Your family can spread out in this comfortable home featuring an open floor plan from the great room to the dining area and to the kitchen.
The dining area, including a formal dining table and a breakfast bar, seats eight people comfortably. The gourmet kitchen, featuring granite counter-tops, mahogany cabinetry, and cooking space for multiple cooks, is well equipped for a light breakfast or a full dinner! Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We selected the north side of Kauai for its verdant, lush environment and slow pace. More specifically, we selected Princeville for its access to golf and the great beaches of the north shore. Finally, we did not choose Lei Aloha, it chose us! The moment we walked through the gate, the house called our names! It had everything we wanted - great tropical breezes, a generous pool, good privacy, and a golf course view!
The Unique Benefits at this Vacation Home
One of the things we especially like about this property is the layout. Because the master suite is on the opposite end of the house as the guest rooms, everyone is afforded the quiet and privacy of being in separate suites. Furthermore, each guest can enter the enclosed yard and pool area without disturbing other guests. We often slip out to the lanai and have morning coffee beside the pool before our guests have arisen for the day!
