This is an incredible home on the spectacular Northern California coastline. This home sits 80 feet from a bluff that drops 30 feet to the ocean. You can literally lob a tennis ball into the ocean from the deck. Kickback, relax on the deck swing to watch the sunset. Sleep to the soothing sounds of waves against the cliffs. Views of Mendocino Headlands and Point Cabrillo Lighthouse from this lovely home are yours to enjoy. There is lots of glass and a cozy fireplace. This home has an exceptional ocean view from all North, South and West facing windows. Visit the scenic and historic village of Mendocino, where you will find gourmet dining and many unique shops and galleries, theater, and music.

You are just a few minutes from Russian Gulch State Park. This park is known for the heavily forested Russian Gulch Creek Canyon, a headland that features the Devil’s Punch Bowl, which is a large, collapsed sea cave with churning water, and a beach that offers swimming, tide pool exploring, skin diving and rock fishing. Inland, there is a 36-foot high waterfall. Hikers enjoy miles of hiking trails. The park also has a paved three-mile bicycle trail.

AS you enter the house. There will be a bottle of delicious local wine on the table for you. There is a barbeque in the tower… or garage.. The washer and dryer are in the garage too. In downtown Mendocino there are so many good restaurants. Hmmm , where to start??? The simple little Mendocino Café is one of my favorites for all meals. The Moose Restaurant is nice, the Mendocino hotel has good food and the MacCallum house is good too. You must get up early and eat breakfast at the Bayview café. There is a deli/store across from the Mendocino post office on Ukiah Street with great sandwiches. Mendocino café, Bayview and the post office deli are more Mendocino local favorites. Eggheads, in Fort Bragg is worth the 8 mile drive north for amazing omelets. While in Fort Bragg, you should go to glass beach. Drive north through Fort Bragg and turn west at Denny’s restaurant. Park where the road turns north and be amazed at an all smooth glass beach. After you get to the first beach, walk south to the next two beaches and each one gets better. Book this house now, while it's still available and get ready to have a lovely vacation…

  • My husband and I just returned from 5 wonderful days at Sea Tower. Loved the view and the location. The sea puts on quite a show when it's windy. We used the hot tub first thing in the AM and then at sunset; what a way to view the sunset - and had cozy fires every night. We rode our bikes down to Russian Gulch and then along the road in MacKerricher State Park - beautiful rides and scenery. Also had a very good meal at the Maccallum House. A wonderful 30th anniversary trip.

  • I can't say enough good things about this place. We spent a lot of time watching whales spout and watching the seals laze on the rocks just below. Very relaxing and comfortable for our family of 4.

  • what can i say-bob & lisa (the hosts) should be sainted for maintaining their mendocino property for blue collar guys like me to really get away from it all as a chef, my life is hectic to say the least. generally it takes me a couple days just to unwind. Sea tower is the ultimate cure, front row seat to nature as god intended it. frikkin' AWESOME, fireplace, bbq brie burgers & crashin' waves-THE life

  • A beautiful setting, so peaceful and secluded. It is easy to immediately relax upon arrival. The house is very clean and fully equipped with anything you would need. Our favorite thing is soaking in the hot tub listening to the huge waves so close. It's such a treat to be able to see the whales spouting right out in front of this place. The management is great, and extremely attentive. We love this place so much we go back every year.

  • I've rented Sea Tower for the past five years and it is the most serene and beautiful place. I've never been compelled to write comments about a place I've rented until now. Year after year it never disappoints. We've seen whales each time and it is a spectacular sight. The house is very clean, private, and has everything we needed. The nice thing is that we could drive to Mendocino or Fort Bragg within minutes if we wanted.

  • this was the coolest, most relaxing stay, anywhere, i've had in years! the place is absolutely tranquil and the back porch is where i lived! the jacuzzi is a must as well as a good bottle of wine (or several) and cheeses which can be cquired at the local grocery store in town. this is really a GREAT place to relax and recharge your mind, spirit, and the rest of your body! as the owner of a marketing and design firm, the need to get away is VERY great, and this was the place to go! don't wait, go today!

  • What an amazing and tranquil environment. My husband and I needed a retreat from the "rat race" and this place was phenomenal! We went fishing in the morning and then cooked it up (not all 16) in the "ocean front- Kitchen". We reconnected as a couple adn had some FUN! The Spa was truly an emotional experience! Thank you for the luxury. WE LOVED IT!!!!

  • I took my parents from New Jersey on their first North Coast weekend to this rental for the weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. From seeing shooting stars and beautiful sunsets fromthe deck to cooking in the well equipped kitchen and relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the ocean, we loved every minute! Thanks for such a great time. We will definitely be coming back again.

  • This is the most peaceful and spiritual environment. I loved waking up so close to the ocean and going to sleep with the sound of the waves at night. This is a cozy, comfortable home and I highly recommend it.
