This lovely home is in Destiny West, a quiet gated community. It is just a three minute walk to the beach and less than one minute, to the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse has a beautiful pool 75 ft by 35 ft. Lounge chairs and tables are only for the guests in Destiny West and the pool is never crowded. Also there is a tennis court, basketball, fitness room all new equipment, hot tub, and an outdoor grill.
Destiny West is one of Destin's finest neighborhoods. The neighborhood is beautiful, you will feel like you are in paradise, with the cobblestone streets and breathtaking landscaping. So if you're looking for a place to relax very close to the beach then this is a wonderful vacation home.
The home has one king bed in the down stairs master with master bath and walk in closet, all other bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Two bedrooms with queen beds with both have a full bath, and one futon. Children's small mattress, we are adding a new sectional sofa to the home with queen sleeper. Each Bedroom has a full bath and everything is very clean and well kept.
The home has a beautiful large kitchen with tile floors,dish washer,ice maker, and back porch with table and chairs plus a grill to cook. The great things about this home is the wonderful gated community, this is a very peaceful place to relax and enjoy your vacation. The home is very close to the beach and clubhouse. Great location for shopping, food etc.

We stayed a week in June with another family and teenage children. We loved the house! It was very spacious and very clean with everything we needed. The gated community was so beautiful, quiet and safe. The pool was beautiful and the beach was so close and convenient. We hardly left the area! Used the work out room and rode bikes. One of the things I would reccomend is Wifi through the house as some wanted to use their I-pod's but it was nice being able to hook my laptop up at the house. I would reccomend this house to anyone and would stay there again! It's been a long time since we have been to Destin and we were glad to visit again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Thanks so much Diane. We had a wonderful time at "Sweet Retreat". We really felt it was our home away from home. The spectacular sunsets on the Gulf, lounging poolside and the quietness of the neighbourhood made us the envy of all our northern friends! We really can't say enough about you either Diane, any question we had received a speedy response. We loved the experience so much, we can hardly wait to come back next year. This was a great house to stay in for a peaceful vacation at the beach! The neighborhood was very nice and quiet, pool and hot tub were never crowded, and it was in a great location. Beach was right across the street as well as the Crab Trap restaurant. The inside of this house was also very nice and large. Six of us stayed there and had plenty of space. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone and Diane was great to work with as well!

My husband and I stayed here with another couple for labor day weekend. This house has plenty of room. The master bedroom and bathroom was so nice and it has a huge closet. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with. The neighborhood is so peaceful. The beach was a short walk and we enjoyed the walk. The pool has a nice waterfall and was never crowed. The grocery store, Wal-mart, Walgreens and all the shopping malls are very close. I highly recommend staying here we will go back next year. Also I have to say Diane is great. She will be there to answer any questions and help you if you have any problems.

I stayed in this beautiful home for a week with 8 people. We had plenty of room and everything we needed. I loved the quiet walkway to the beach. The pool and hottub were beautiful and never crowded. The neighborhood was very peaceful, yet close to shopping and dining. Diane is a wonderful host and will make sure you have a great time!

My family of 4 stayed at this beautiful home in June of 2006 for 7 days. It was gorgeous!! The kids loved that the beach was so close and they were able to swim every evening in an uncrowded pool. The neighborhood was very peaceful. The home itself was beautiful and everything that we could possibly need was there. It is also close to nightlife and great dining. I would highly recommend this location for any vacation.

Welcome to Destiny West. This is a beautiful home in a quiet gated community with so many extra's. This home is very large 2400sq feet. Plunty of room to relax for family and friends. I will be happy to send extra photo's and maps for this area. I beleive in giving you the best customer service and helping you with any details for your vacation. This home is only 1 min walk to the Clubhouse with pool,tennis,basketball,fitness room,showers,and hot tub. The beach is just one more short block away. You would enter the beach at the James Lee State Park. This park is less crowded than going down the street where the big condo's are. Also the Crab Trap restaurant is there to enjoy or the covered picnic area. Also after staying in this home, I will send coupons to my customers for money off their next vacation. I am trying to get people into this home that will take care of my place. This home is very clean and well taken care of.
