Absolutely beautiful custom-built log home on the Sturgeon River surrounded by total wilderness and some of the world's best golfing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, boating, snowmobiling, skiing, snowshoeing, mountain bike trails, and total relaxation! Newly constructed home is perfectly built for the vacationer in mind. Located right in the center of four seasons of outdoor activity; 25 minutes in any direction from over 40 stunning golf courses (including The Boynes, Bay Harbor, Black Lake, and all the Gaylord courses); 5 minutes from some of the best inland lakes for boating/jet skiing/water skiing; 20 minutes from the popular Mackinaw City/Island; 20 minutes from Petoskey/Harbor Springs for shopping or a trip to the beautiful Odawa Casino for some fun. This property also features a significant amount of drive space for extra vehicles, boats, trailers, etc. for those who are looking to bring their toys and extra friends.

Built out of hand selected 24"-32" old-growth massive red pine logs from Pigeon River Country this home provides a look and feel unlike any other log home you have ever experienced.

You're next vacation log home is nestled in the Sturgeon River Valley and comes complete with tile, carpet, and hardwood floors throughout. In addition to the interior beauty, enjoy spectacular views of the Sturgeon River from an additional 1800 feet of wrap-around decking. The deck features two covered area's with recessed lighting that are in excess of 600 feet for all weather use or evening entertaining. On the decks are two large patio tables that easily accommodate 20 people, a stainless steel grill, and lounge chairs to sit in the sun. The entire home has exterior ground lighting so that late nights out at the bonfire pit don't make it difficult to see around the home, yard, and fun areas. The main level of the home has a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, large butcher block table that will seat 4 people. There is a dining area that sits 4 to 6 people with a view of the river below. There is also a bar with seating separating the kitchen from the great room where there is a natural wood-burning, fieldstone fireplace. The great room and kitchen areas are wired with a built-in JBL Audio sound system for entertaining with style. The living area on this level has a flat panel TV as well as a 1/2 bath. The upstairs is perfect for a couple, several couples, and/or kids. On the upstairs level are two bedrooms; one very large with a queen bed, a full bed, a raised twin bed, and a queen size futon. There is a second bedroom on the upstairs level with two beds. One is a queen size and one is a loft twin size bed that the kids love. The upstairs level also has a large full bath. The finished walk-out lower level is carpeted and comes with a built-in customized cedar sauna, laundry room, master bedroom with full bath, living area, and media room complete with a 57" High Definition television and a JBL surround sound system! There is also an exercise area with a treadmill and BoFlex weight machine. This is a perfect "Up North" retreat log home that every Northern Michigan enthusiast will enjoy.

  • We had a wonderful week at this one of a kind log cabin home. It is has everything the owner states and more! We have rented several homes through VRBO and this was, by far, the nicest, most unique home we've stayed in. The home is outstanding, and the location is perfect. It's close to everything. We trailer a 26 foot boat, and we were able to launch from Petosky, Mullett Lake, Burt Lake and Mackinaw City. The large circular driveway made it easy to unhitch the boat and drive into Harbor Springs and Charlevoix for sunset dinners. Clean, neat and comfortable. Top of the line everything. We would highly recommend.

  • After driving into the forest, this luxurious log home in the woods is fabulous with lots of room indoors and outdoors to spread out . You enter into the living room and you are standing in an atrium over 2 stories tall. Straight ahead are the French doors onto the rear deck and beyond is the beautiful Sturgeon river with it’s rapid deep blue water. Then to the right is the kitchen complete with stools and a bar. I could go on but you have to experience this home and the area to know how it’s really better than a home away from home. You can tell the owners take great pride in their home.   • This up north retreat is fabulous. This home wraps it's arms around you from the moment you walk in. All you could want in recreation and/or relaxing all year around. We came for the skiing and took the winter raft trip down the Sturgeon River. Decorated to the nines. The kitchen is to die for!

  • Our vacation was perfect, and the cabin is more than one could imagine. Surrounded by woods the sounds of nature are so relaxing. If you are looking to get away from everything and relax, this is where you need to be.
