For the fourth year in a row, we have spent the month of March at this condo and we still enjoying it. The condo is spacious and very well equipped. At our arrival, the place was clean, as usual. We particularly appreciate the nice location, the balcony with view on the ocean, the huge pool and the easy access to the beach and the ocean. The owner is always available when we need something. Enjoyable Stay

We stayed in this condo for one month this winter. We had a wonderful stay and will be returning next year. The condo is spacious, bright and equipped with every amenity for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well stocked and updated with new stainless steel appliances. The bathrooms have also been remodelled. The building's common areas, lobby, pool, grounds are well maintained. It is located in a nice area, close to the Hollywood Broadwalk and area restaurants and shopping. We are looking forward to our return.

Great Christmas Vacation 2012

This is a great condo for a family beach vacation get away. This is the second time our family has rented this condo for Christmas vacations. Although the Alexander may be an older condo building, this unit has been updated with a new kitchen and bathrooms. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The owner supplies everything you will need for an outstanding stay at the beach including beach towels, Tony Bahamas chairs, umbrellas, and a lot of sand toys for the kids. We really enjoyed the hanging out at the beach and swimming in the heated pool. I especially enjoyed grilling steaks out by the beach. The balcony has four nice chairs for sitting and reading while looking at the ocean. For the price, this is an outstanding value. We have rented other units in this building, and this one was by far the best. We would love to rent this again the next time we go to Florida for Christmas.

The Alexander Towers is a very nice old building but has mold issues. Our Condo had mold and rust on all the door jambs and walls. The cleaning service was atrocious as there was garbage left under the bed.....childrens clothes left in the dressers....broken toilet paper holders......the celing paint in the bathroom peeling off.....doors all scratched....floors and rug in living room were filthy The deck door was horrendous to open and close not to mention a 4 inch lip to step over to get out. The shower curtain liner had to be taken off( moldy and rusted) and we bought our own.....the dust in the vents was an inch thick...I wound up with medical issues after 2 days and cleaning....wound up on prescription medication for mold allergies. We made our stay wonderful because of the area and the location of the beach. The bus was a 45 minute wait so we walked everywhere we could. The valet parking became excessive in cost..you cannot bring up your groceries in the wagons without them. The pool is great and the beach is great but not having a clean well painted condo for what we paid made our stay very hard. Looking at water damaged walls and rusted peeling doors and doors jambs and celings was just too much to bear. The towels were washed in so much fabric softener we could not use them, we spent more money washing them all the first two days. The vacuum cleaner was filthy dirty and the mops were not usable. We were there two weeks and used the vac once to no avail as it was so filthy we could not stand touching it. Lucky for the family after us we had cleaned the a/c vents.....you should see our pictures. How ironic we were charged a cleaning fee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't let the pictures fool you.....the deck of this condo overlooks a parking lot....and yes after the parking lot you do see the ocean. We found out too late there were some nice rentals in the same building.Very clean and great views for the same price. We will not rent again from this owner. The owner who met us there and took us up to the unit never had a clue the place was so filthy although he did show us horrible bubbling water damage in one bedroom...with an outlet surrounding it and never one said sorry or you should get some money back if there are mold issues.

Owner response: We want to first state very clearly that the Health, Safety and Hapiness of our guests is our greatest prioroty. We DO NOT have mold in the condo and the apartment is in great shape. We have rented our condo for over seven years and NEVER had any complaints regarding our condo. I would encourage everyone to read ALL the other 14 reviews to see that everyone has truly enjoyed their stay at our condo. In every review the first thing that is usually stated is the cleanliness and outstanding condition of the apartment. We have guests that have returned for four years in a row and just renewed for the fifth. We take great pride in our condo and live there ourselves with our children during half of the year. We would never put our family or our guests at risk just to rent the condo. If our guests read the reviews they will see that the families just before and just after this review found absolutely nothing wrong with the condo. We can furnish references for anyone who has any concerns to make them feel absolutely comfortable that they will have a wonderful time staying at our condo.

This is a great condo! Lloyd, the owner, is friendly and accomodating. We appreciated that he met us there to give us keys and show us around. The condo is spacious, clean and well-stocked. The updated kitchen and two full baths made it a very comfortable stay. This complex has a great pool area that looks out on the ocean. Hollywood is a wonderful place to vacation. There is so much to do here between the Broadwalk, casinos and restaurants. We would love to come back sometime. All the previous reviews are accurate.

We met with owner Lloyed Casner at Alexander Towers upon arrival.He was very friendly and quickly showed us around so we could enjoy our vacation as soon as possible.The condo is very clean and loaded with all your cleaning and paper products.Also plenty of linens,towels and my kids favorite...The Fun Room.Lol.Its the entrance closet loaded with fun stuff for pool or beach.Shovels,flippers,pails,beach chairs ect.Its a great location!Excellent ocean front views and you feel right at home!Cant wait to return next year!Sincerely,The Apontes from flemington nj

We just finished our blissful stay in Florida and I already wish we were back. 2 adults and 2 teenagers stayed and the condo was beyond our expectations! The owner met us upon our arrival from Ft. Lauderdale airport (which is only about a 20 minute cab ride). The condo was immaculately clean, with beautiful views of the ocean, just as the description said. We opted to cook during our stay and the kitchen truly does have everything you might need. The grocery store was a quick cab ride and the valets at the condo brought up all our bags. And there is a 7-11 just down the street (walking distance) in case you need a convienence store. The property is very well kept and we felt safe allowing our teenagers to be outside after dark. The owner was very attentive, answered all our questions and seemed genuienly interested in us having a great vacation. HUGE added bonus was all the towels the condo supplied, the cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. This is a great place for a family to come and relax. I would definitely recommend this property to others and I feel certain that we will be coming back.

Stayed here for about 10 days with our family of 5. The condo is well located, very spacious, immaculate and nicely appointed. The kitchen is stocked with every conceivable tool and dish/glass. Beds were comfortable and towels were soft:) The water pressure in the bathrooms was great which can be usual in southern Florida. There is valet parking which can be a pain but there is also free parking in the lot across the street and we found that to be much simpler. This condo is located about 8 blocks from the beginning of the Hollywood Broadwalk (restaurants, souvenir shops) which we walked to daily. For those who don't want to walk, there is a trolley next door at the Diplomat for $1 which will take you to the Broadwalk. The condo's' pool was nice although there are more residents than lounges so it is advisable to get there early and place your towel down. My husband used the fitness center daily and was happy with it. The beach is lovely and just steps away. Unfortunately there was construction on the beach while we were there(they were bringing in dump trucks of sand) which was noisy but future vacationers will benefit from it. There is a laundry room on each floor with 2 coin operated washers and 2 dryers. The landlord was very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Outstanding - Well Equipped Condo on the Beach

Renting this condo was a great way to spend Christmas vacation. We have rented several condo over the past years and this was by far the best equipped and most comfortable on we have rented. The condo included beach towels and beach chairs. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking equipment anyone would need, including cleaning supplies (paper towels, garbage bags, dish washing liquid, etc). This is rare in the condos we have rented. The BBQ grill was great too. We all really enjoyed HDTV and the comfortable sofas. We definitely enjoyed the beach, the pool, and the hot tub. A great place to relax. The owner provided outstanding customer support. He met us at the condo and answered all our questions. I would definite rent this condo again and recommend it to my friends.

What a beautiful condo! Upgraded, clean, airy, with everything you could possibly need. The owner is fair and extremely helpful. Don't hesitate to ask him any questions, he expects and wants you to. His goal is to make sure you have a great vacation and he truly fulfilled this. Thank you! Me, my husband, my adult daughter, my stepson and 3 year old grand daughter stayed with us for the first 2 weeks and were very comfortable. There are 2 full size beds in the 2nd bedroom. When they left, my husband and I enjoyed our bliss for the last 2 weeks in this little slice of heaven. The pool is very clean and a cushion, towel and umbrella is provided for a $1. The ocean is right over the fence. So take a dip in the ocean, shower and come back to your chair or take a dip in the pool. You will need your key to come back in to the pool area. We felt very safe that strangers cannot get into the pool area or anywhere else on the property. There is also a gym on site that my kids loved. We found that a car is helpful but not needed. You can walk to the broadwalk or take the trolley for $1 at the Westin, next door to get to Johnson St. Where the band shell is. There is free music and many restaurants. You can obtain a map of where the trolley goes on the trolley or on the broadwalk. If you don't have a car, you can also get to Publix or Winn Dixie by taxi for groceries. I heard that it was not at all expensive. Do a big shopping and the valet guys will help you bring all your groceries up! From the airport to the condo I heard it is about $20. This was all great information for me because I don't drive. I depend on my husband to drive me everywhere, not that he minds :). Just good to know, if I decide to go ahead of hubby next year when vacation time comes around for him. Our favorite restaurants were, Flannigans great lunch specials. Hometown buffet, great for when you have kids. Giorgios bakery and grill, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beautiful setting on the intercoastel. There are 2 Giorgios, make sure you go to the one without the valet parking. Try their pizza, I am a New Yorker and I know pizza, theirs is different but very good. Nicks around the corner on Johnson St. If you like fish, this is the place to go. Always fresh and inexpensive. There is also a place on Johnson St that makes wonderful crepes. I think the name is Phillipe. I could smell them when we were at the band shell. Great dessert ones.

Enjoyed our stay at the condo. This was one of the cleanest and updated condo's we've stayed in on our many trips to Florida. EVERYTHING is furnished for you. The only thing we had to buy was food and drink for the fridge and sunscreen for the beach! If I had wanted to cook the kitchen is well stocked with everything I would have needed. The valet parking guys even brought the many grocery bags up to the condo for us! The owner met us on arrival with the keys and showed us around the building pointing out the laundry room, pool, etc. The laundry room is only 3 doors down on the same floor as the condo which is a big plus! The cost is $1.25 per load. I would recommend a rental car only because their are many things to do and see around the area. You could get by without one though as many restaurants deliver straight to your door. Don't be afraid to ask questions of the owner. He is very friendly and quick to communicate via email. This is a place we will return to! Looking forward to our next visit.

Very nice place to stay and enjoy your vacation. Appartment was clean, well-maintained, with remodeled kitchen. The owner was very nice to deal with. Broadwalk is only half mile from the unit. We would recommend this to a friend.

We met the owner on our first time stay in DEC. Super nice to deal with. Our condo was very clean, comfortable with a newly renovated kitchen. I enjoyed being right at the beach, in a good location, walking distance to the boardwalk, restaurants, shopping. There is a BBQ at the pool which I used several times. I returned in April. I would recommend it to my friends and family, and hope to return next year again.

I have enjoyed my stay in this condo in March 2010. With its 4,5 apartments, the condo is large enough for 4 persons. At our arrival, the condo was very clean. We have appreciated the brand new kitchen renovated last October. The owner is answering promptly when we need to be in touch with him. The very large pool and the acces at the beach represent good advantages. The condo is very well equiped with linens, towels, pool chairs, umbrella, etc. That's a place were I would get back.

Our stay was wonderful. The ocean right outside our balcony was so relaxing. The condo is spotless and has everything you need and more in the kitchen and linen closet as well as beach towels, chairs, pool floats, umbrellas, etc. This place is well stocked! The owner is a warm and kind person and very helpful. Overall we loved it! PS Hollywood Broadwalk is only a half-mile walk from the condo and that is where the action is. Also try Nikki's across the street at Diplomat. Great waterfront spot for cocktails!

My stay at this condo was wonderful..The weather was sunny and warm every day. Most restaurants were within walking distance. The beach and pool were right outside the building. The racetrack was only 1 mile away and I walked there every racing day.I would reccommend this unit to anyone.....Ken and Diane C...
