Beautiful lakefront home with private pier, large patio and private beach in back and semi-private, community beach in front.The home has five bedrooms,large formal living room, gourmet kitchen-dining-den combination room, game room with pool table, ping-pong and darts, 3.5 bathrooms, 2 car garage, and off-street parking.
Extensive rear patio has three separate sitting areas on two levels with a large spa and ramp to a 150ft long pier with a boatlift, jetskilift, and movable catwalk with boatwhips. There are breathtaking, majestic views of Lake Tahoe and the mountains from both sides of the home. These views are also available from every room in the home.
The home is located just north (~1 mile)of the Zephyr Cove Resort with hiking trails by the lake and through a secluded forest with a creek to the Resort. Ski areas and world class casinos are ~5 miles away. The town of South Lake Tahoe California is also ~5 miles, Carson City NV is ~15 miles and Reno NV is ~35 miles. This is probably the most beautiful spot to stay on the lake! The views from all the rooms are amazing and the private backyard beach was wonderful. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This home was just placed on the market 11/30/06. My family and I lived there, full time since 1998. We completely remodeled the home in 1999. With the kids of to college I decided to un-retire and am back in college too as an Engineering Professor at The Cal Maritime Academy. Hence the move. You won't be disappointed.
