  Place was a nice and cozy vacation spot! It was a quiet neighborhood and had all that I needed to make my short vacation comfortable. I ended up getting sick while I was on vacation and this place was out of the busy traffic and tourist area, so it was nice and peaceful for me to relax and recover! Would definitely recommend it!

  For our first visit to Oahu, we couldn't have asked for a better place that fit so nicely into our budget. It is difficult to find reasonable accommodation prices on the North Shore and for the price, this is the best value in the area! The condo provided everything our family needed from beach gear for the kids, a great saltwater pool complete with BBQ for relaxing in the afternoon, and all the cooking supplies we could ask for to prepare our meals. The beachpark down the road is a great place to meet all of the neighborhood families and was another excellent place to entertain the kids just a block away from the condo. Most importantly, the beach across the street is one of the best places on the North Shore for the kids to swim safely when the surf is up (as it was during our trip!) because it is protected and guaranteed to see plenty of turtles! Haleiwa town is just a couple miles down the road and we didnt have to go any further for groceries, shopping, or a bite to eat so that was very convenient. Sarada was very helpful along the way and gave us some great recommendations for our first time exploring the area. Although we love to experience new places every time we travel, I can definitely say that we will be back! Thank You

  We were excited to stay here, but when we arrived, we found several unexpected issues. We have a toddler and expected a safe relaxing place based on the offer of a pack-n-play and toddler bed and the positive posted reviews. The pack-n-play and toddler bed were provided, which we apprecited, but the condo had several features that made us nervous. First, nearly every room has a floor-level louvered window. These are covered with screens but not glass. The louvers can be closed, but not tightly. In general, these types of windows are not ideal for toddlers, as they cannot always be secured and toddlers can fall out if they run into the screen and it doesn't hold. Due to this risk, this type of window is no longer used in newer construction. We realize that these windows are "grandfathered in" due to the age of the building, but I would have liked to know they were there before we booked, as we were unable to relax with our toddler running around near them. Second, the wires for the wireless and cable service were exposed under the kitchen table such that our toddler could easily find and play with them. Again, we had to constantly monitor these. There is also a fairly steep staircase with a cast-iron railing along its length, but this can be effectively blocked off by wedging a baby gate across the hallway and through the bars. (If you'd like a gate, I suggest asking if one is available, as we had rented one from a different company prior to booking.) Finally, during our stay, the condo complex was repainting the stairwell immediately outside the unit. They were powerblasting paint off the railings and we could not keep the dust from entering the unit since we could not completely seal the windows. I think this specific issue is unlikely to affect anyone in the future, but you may want to ask if any maintenance is possible during your stay when inquiring about the unit. (The complex apparently gives a time window for repairs but not an exact date.) All that said, the unit is near the beach and has lots of toys, chairs, etc. available for use. It seems a decent economical choice for the area if you have older kids and/or are able to assure your children won't get near the windows or cable wires. Also, Sarada was quite responsive to our concerns. We were unable to complete our stay due to the above concerns, but she readily refunded our payment so we weren't out any money, just time and effort to find another place last minute.

  Owner response: We are always happy to receive honest feedback and I understand that the louver windows that many places in Hawaii still utilize are not the mainstream in other places and are outdated (although they do provide great air flow!). With that being said, I am happy to share that the condo association has just approved our conversion to windows throughout so as of the end of this summer, we will be upgrading the entire unit as the louvers are removed and all window openings as well as sliders will be replaced with vinyl framing and triple pane glass of the highest quality to increase safety as well as reduce heat and noise. As far as the maintenance, it is rare but if something comes up that is causing any disruption around the building we always offer a full refund for the inconvenience and give advance notification whenever possible. As was the case with this booking, we always try to give a full refund if the unit is not to the visitor's satisfaction. Thank You, Sarada

  This was our second stay in this lovely condo. We loved the changes and new additions. Looking forward to coming back again! Well maintained building with friendly on site manager.

  Beautiful condo, perfect for families with children.We flew from AK., my father flew from CA.( family riunion) Beach right across the street, 3 kids ages 6,11, & 13. Everyday we were @ the beach in the morning at night the pool. All the neighbors greeted us & were extremely friendly. The condo was had ALL the amenities you could only dream of from rice cooker, toddler bed to 2 extra air matresses. Sarada made everything so easy & stress free for us. Check in & out was soo simple. The price of this condo can't be beat. Waikiki Never again, Waialua is where to be. We'll definately be back every few years. We vacation a lot everywhere, this was the best one yet by far.

  This is the perfect place if you want to relax and get away from the "big city". Lovely corner unit with the perfect lanai for catching the last sun of the day. Unit was clean and comfortable with everything you need to go to the beach and cook at home. Beach across the street is unbelievable, we even found a postcard that featured it! Thanks again for accomodating us and we are looking forward to coming back again.

  I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the many surprising amenities such as lots of kitchen equipment, towels, toys, books and snorkeling equipment to name only a few. The beach was beautiful, uncrowded, and easily accessed within a few steps. We quickly felt at home here and it is clearly a good choice for anyone, especially for those with young children.

  My daughter who lives in Waialua found the condo for us. It was a pleasant surprise when we checked in for our 10 day visit. We are 3 senior ladies visiting family, sightseeing and relaxing on the beach. The condo was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and laundry. While the pool and sauna could not be used during our stay, the beach was steps away. We loved morning coffee and evening wine on the balcony. Life is Good !!

  We are three (3) Little Old Ladies from Pasadena, California.... We came for rest and recreation, and found both! The condo was clean, and well stocked! We didn't feel there was a need for A/C as we would open the kitchen window, and slider in the living room for cross ventilation.... another thing we remembered to roll down the shade on the balcony, this helped a great deal to keep the condo cooler while we were out exploring. The bedrooms were nice sized and the beds comfortable; the washer and dryer was an added plus. We also had the sofa upstairs for added sleeping facilities. When we prepared our meals in the kitchen it was nice to find all sorts of dishes, and pot and pans; the refrigerator was big enough to hold our groceries..... we found Wal Mart and Costco, in Mililani town, which wasn't too far by car. The pool was being cleaned out, but we really didn't miss it, the beach was so close, down the street there is a pass through to the beach. The beach was lovely, and we actually spotted a couple of large sea turtles which we were told were being protected. All in all we were more than satisfied with the condo. We would recommend it, as we are not your High Binder type travelers, requiring posh deluxe surroundings. The Little old Ladies (3) from Pasadena visited May 10th thru May 20th, 2011

  We stayed for two months and really enjoyed the area, it was so close to the beach and the townhouse was bright with nice view, it was nice and cool due to lots of windows. The condo was very well equiped in the kitchen as well as for beds for company. It also had a very nice pool. The neighbours were very nice and we felt like part of the community. The bus system was right at the door, so it was easy to go shopping. The beach is one of the nicest one around. This condo would be great place with kids as it has so many toys and movies etc. Thank you Sarada for the use of you condo.
