This is the perfect place if you want to relax and get away from the "big city". Lovely corner unit with the perfect lanai for catching the last sun of the day. Unit was clean and comfortable with everything you need to go to the beach and cook at home. Beach across the street is unbelievable, we even found a postcard that featured it! Thanks again for accomodating us and we are looking forward to coming back again.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the many surprising amenities such as lots of kitchen equipment, towels, toys, books and snorkeling equipment to name only a few. The beach was beautiful, uncrowded, and easily accessed within a few steps. We quickly felt at home here and it is clearly a good choice for anyone, especially for those with young children.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My daughter who lives in Waialua found the condo for us. It was a pleasant surprise when we checked in for our 10 day visit. We are 3 senior ladies visiting family, sightseeing and relaxing on the beach. The condo was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and laundry. While the pool and sauna could not be used during our stay, the beach was steps away. We loved morning coffee and evening wine on the balcony. Life is Good !!

We are three (3) Little Old Ladies from Pasadena, California.... We came for rest and recreation, and found both! The condo was clean, and well stocked! We didn't feel there was a need for A/C as we would open the kitchen window, and slider in the living room for cross ventilation.... another thing we remembered to roll down the shade on the balcony, this helped a great deal to keep the condo cooler while we were out exploring. The bedrooms were nice sized and the beds comfortable; the washer and dryer was an added plus. We also had the sofa upstairs for added sleeping facilities. When we prepared our meals in the kitchen it was nice to find all sorts of dishes, and pot and pans; the refrigerator was big enough to hold our groceries..... we found Wal Mart and Costco, in Mililani town, which wasn't too far by car. The pool was being cleaned out, but we really didn't miss it, the beach was so close, down the street there is a pass through to the beach. The beach was lovely, and we actually spotted a couple of large sea turtles which we were told were being protected. All in all we were more than satisfied with the condo. We would recommend it, as we are not your High Binder type travelers, requiring posh deluxe surroundings. The Little old Ladies (3) from Pasadena visited May 10th thru May 20th, 2011

We stayed for two months and really enjoyed the area, it was so close to the beach and the townhouse was bright with nice view, it was nice and cool due to lots of windows. The condo was very well equiped in the kitchen as well as for beds for company. It also had a very nice pool. The neighbours were very nice and we felt like part of the community. The bus system was right at the door, so it was easy to go shopping. The beach is one of the nicest one around. This condo would be great place with kids as it has so many toys and movies etc. Thank you Sarada for the use of you condo.

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

In response to feedback from the partially unsatisifed guest of the above review, I must say that the dissatisfaction stems from the fact that these guests booked through a travel agent rather than communicating with the owner directly and were expecting more of a "tourist friendly" hotel atmosphere so I must first say to anyone interested that this is a vacation rental in a residential neighborhood on the north shore (as opposed to a hotel accomodation in Waikiki). As for the noise they spoke of, this is usually not an issue (I also have lived in the complex for over 7 yrs and love it!) but I did find out afterwards that during those few days, there were some renovations going on in a neighboring unit which increased the normally low level of noise/ foot traffic. As for the sauna, the entire sauna and pool area were renovated in April 2010 and look excellent! As for the elevator, louvers, and TV remotes, they are all functioning and the worn couch ottoman has been discarded. Aside from these issues that they spoke of, the condo, property, and surrounding area is just as beautiful and well maintained as always and if you enjoy the outdoors, the Hawaiian lifestyle, and can enjoy the trades rather than AC (as we all do), you will not regret this stay!

We stayed here for a week in March 2010. It did have a fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels, and snorkeling gear. The beach was close by although it was not user friendly. The park and a beach a few blocks down we were able to snorkle at. Secluded area was nice since there were not tons of people. They did provide a toddler bed. Downsides: The sauna was out of order, as was the elevator so we walked 3 flight of stairs multiple times per day. No A/C. It was VERY LOUD all the time because of the louvered windows. Many of the louvers were broken so there was no way to close them. We did not sleep well at all, nor did the kids because of the sounds of people coming and going at all hours, tromping up and down the stairs right outside the window that could not be closed. The furniature looks fine in the pictures, but extremely worn out. The couch was uncomfortable when we tried to sit and watch tv at the end of the day as the kids tried to sleep. The remotes also did not work, and when we called to ask the super to get new batteries, she said she would replace them right away, in 7 days they were never changed. We now know that if we ever go back to avoid any place with louvered windows because it was SO LOUD. Go for a place with A/C so you won't have that problem.

Our family stayed here for a month from December 2009 to January 2010 and it was incredible! The view could not be more beautiful and the access to the beach was just a walk across the street. It wasn't crowded either, it was almost like having our own personal beach. It is just a few miles from great snorkeling, food, and Haleiwa town. The house itself is very accommodating. There is plenty of space to comfortably sleep up to six people, and the washer and dryer make packing light. We traveled with our 22 month old daughter and the home had everything we needed including games, books, and movies. The kitchen allowed us to make our own meals and eat at home. It was a wonderful place to be and I would love to stay there again! Thank you so much Sarada for making our stay in paradise unforgettable!
