We stayed in Riviera House for the month of November, and quickly fell in love with Venice Island. We biked or walked everywhere from this house - to the theatre, the community centre, the beautiful beaches, and the shopping areas. We only used the car to go to a variety of golf courses, which were also very close. Riviera house is very nice with many upgrades. It has a beautiful, large back yard with many flowering plants, and we enjoyed relaxing in the lanai beside the pool. The open concept kitchen, dining room and living room makes for a spacious living area. The house was very clean, with ceramic tiles throughout. The kitchen was professionally redone, with lots of counter space and cupboards. The master bedroom is large, with its own on-suite and walk-in closet. The house was well furnished - we had everything we needed. It is on a quiet street. The owners are very well organized, and respond quickly to any questions. We enjoyed our month very much and hope to return in 2012!
Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children.

This was ideal for our young family. Clean, well-maintained, modern, and aesthetically pleasing, it was the vacation that all that we needed and yet we felt right at home. Each room in the house was functional and well-thought-through. The pool was relaxing, and we especially appreciated the pool-guard-fence that we could put up for the kids' safety. The location was just great - we were able to walk/bike everywhere we needed to in under 15 minutes. The owners are well-organized and professional, timely and dependable - it was our first VRBO vacation, and we are now returning customers.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children.

4 **** We enjoyed our stay!, March 24, 2008 By Ian and Jill Croft (Carvoeiro, Algarve, Portugal) We stayed in Riviera House from mid Feb. to mid Mar. It is very well situated and very quiet, a fifteen minute walk into Venice centre and half that to Publix supermarket. The house has obviously had a major remodel and was very comfortable and very well equipped, with plenty of new cutlery, crockery, utensils, bed linen and bath towels. The cage and pool area was very spacious and very well equipped (gas bbq, large table and chairs with sun umbrella and also sun loungers. The new boundary fence made this area secluded and private. We enjoyed our month very much.
