View the Blue is an understatement for the view of the caribbean and barrier reef, that you will experience from this beachfront home.
This great 2 story home is located south of San Pedro. The upper level sleeps 4 people. It offers two bedrooms with queen size beds, two baths and a large open dining and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare a great meal. The dining area is roomy and can comfortably seat 6. Enjoy the cool sea breeze and the view from the full length veranda overlooking the fresh water pool and crystal blue Caribbean.
The lower level offers flexible sleeping arrangements with a queen size bed in the main bedroom and two twin beds that can be converted to a comfortable king in the second bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals at the dining table or outside on the poolside patio. An additional room on the lower level has two twin beds and large bathroom.
A great place to enjoy a dip in the fresh water pool and then relax in a hammock on the veranda, between two palm trees on the beach or at the end of the pier under the palapa in the cool Caribbean breeze.

We enjoyed 16 wonderful days at View The Blue. Our group included 6 adults and 3 kids, 1yr to 9 yr old. The location is perfect with the Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley sites just 1/2 mile straight out from the private dock. We went out to the reef on 9 trips with a local guide service (Suya) and then back to the private pool upon return. We did rent a 6 seat golf cart for trips into town, about 4 miles to the center of San Pedro. There is a mini mart less then a mile up the road with a surprising selection of supplies even including frozen meats and fish. The house has two full kitchens and a small kitchenette in a separate bedroom. We cooked every meal but one. My wife and several of our adult children are very good cooks and they were very satisfied with the appliances and cookware. I enjoyed the cast iron outdoor grill. Having a laundry room with two washers and a dryer was a very nice amenity also. There is also a clothesline right by the laundry room. TV's with DVD,s in almost every room. Of course we never watched TV but did have a movie night with the grandkids on several nights. The property managers are awesome!! They arranged the golf cart, put us in touch with the owner of Suya, contacted the taxi service for us, had the house cleaned midway through our stay, provided a groundskeeper almost everyday (who also cleaned the pool), and a handyman when little things came up. The local security guard stopped in on our first day and introduced himself, They patrol the road to town 24/7 on bike and golf cart. From then on we saw him everyday and if we waved him over he would stop to chat. That is probably my biggest take away from the trip, how nice and friendly all of the locals were. Always a wave high and helpful when stopped with a question. This portion of our family included folks from Switzerland and the US. All are very well traveled and all agreed that this was the best vacation they had ever been on. Unbelievable snorkeling, great house, no noise at all - just the sound of the breakers on the reef at night and the stars. Sitting out on the private pier with your favorite beverage..............when do we get to return!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

What a beautiful place! This wonderfully cared for home is in a great location with stunning views. We rented this place for 8 friends. When we arrived the caretaker was awaiting our arrival, so we felt welcomed and expected. The house fit our needs perfectly. Each room had a/c, fans, and comfy beds. We arranged for house cleaning to be done and the grounds were kept up by grounds keepers. We had fresh coconut off of the trees! This location is secluded, so please be advised you should get a golf cart to rent to make your trips to town much easier. Always felt safe. The care takers are readily available to answer your questions, but are not intrusive. They can help you with reservations on flights/trips/etc and are happy to do so. Would definitely recommend.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
