This place is ideally located - everything within walking distance. The house has everything you need including a great front porch. Unfortunately it was a little cold for us to use it much but I can see many hours of lounging around with a glass of wine. Perfect place!!

My family really enjoyed this pet-friendly cottage. The location was very convenient for us and our dogs, who enjoyed the nearby park. The home was very clean, spacious, well-furnished and equipped with appliances that looked new and worked without any problems at all.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My wife and I came to St. Augustine for the first but certainly not the last time this year. We found this rental and it made the whole trip better. I will never stay in a hotel again if I can help it. The house was very cozy and more than roomy enough for us and our two young boys. Just close enough to walk to whatever we wanted but far enough away to be QUIET and RELAXING!!! The owner ( Jeff ) was awesome in making this easy and helpful in recommending things to do. The house had everything that we needed to come right in and feel at HOME! The neighborhood was very quiet and the front porch got an awful lot of use in the early mornings and of an evening. We looked at a lot of other rentals and could not beat the deal we got here! GREAT HOUSE!

Last year we rented this house for a few days. Liked it so much we re-rented this year for a full week. It is so great to be able to walk to town. We were 2 couples and made good use of the front porch in the evenings after returning from great dinners in town. The house is equipped with everything you could need including a computer! Cute house, ample parking and Jeff is very accommodating. St Augustine is amazing and so is this house.

This coming February will be our 5th year at the cottage on Lemon Street. Needless to say it is always a pleasure to return to this clean, charming, comfortable and most of all, conveniently located home away from home. It offers every comfort we would ask for from the internet to cable TV, a well equipped kitchen, off street parking and a front porch to relax on and enjoy a warm Florida day in February.. Even after staying for a month four years in a row we still find new and interesting things to see and do in St. Augustine. I still find it the most colorful and charming of cities to visit with some of the nicest beaches. We can bicycle to any of the historical areas and sights in less than five minutes (avoiding the parking hassle) and return to a low traffic, quiet street. If you want to enjoy all that St. Augustine offers this is the perfect base and Jeff and Linda are the perfect hosts.

My husband and I came down for some much needed R&R in our favorite FL city and this is the first time we've stayed in a vacation rental here, as opposed to a hotel. What a difference! This home is nicely-renovated, well-equipped (they even had bikes to use) and just felt like a comfortable "home away from home." We enjoyed biking around the neighborhoods downtown, eating at the many great restaurants (loved The Tasting Room, Cafe Atlantico, and 95 Cordova, among others--check Restaurant.com for discount coupons) and the historical tour of Flagler College's main building, formly the posh Ponce De Leon hotel. There is truly something here for everyone and we can't wait to come back to this property!

We loved our stay. St. Augustine has become my favorite Florida city. Everywhere there is something interesting to see and do - packed with history and charm everywhere and wonderful uncrowded beaches just across the bridges (even a dog friendly beach at Vilano). Previous years we stayed in a hotel on the beach but have found renting your cottage so much more enjoyable. The location is ideal for exploring the town and your clean attractive cottage seems to have everything we could want or need. We were able to easily walk to restaurants, all the historic attractions, or just wander the quaint side streets. Even with a months stay we ran out of time before seeing everything and, of course, we really appreciated your being so welcoming and helpful Jeff. Thanks. We will be back!

We spent two nights here while attending a wedding. We enjoyed our stay. The location was in walking distance of all the amenities of town. The house was clean, cheerful, cute and cozy in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and reading between festivities. We would definitely stay here again, and do recommend it. It is a much nicer alternative to staying in hotels.

This is a great location on a quiet street. The owners have done a nice job on renovations. The kitchen has new appliances and just about anything else you need. Also, there are comfortable beds and a great shower for relaxing tired muscles. It will take at least a week to take in all the sites. Bring comfortable shoes and plan to walk. We recommend taking the trolley tour first so you can get an idea of what is there to see. (They will extend the 3-day ride pass to 5 if needed)The best time to bike is late afternoon although we found that the old town is not as bike friendly as it is “foot” friendly. The best gift shop we found is the city owned shop at the visitor’s center by the parking garage. Proceeds go back into the city restoration projects. They had really nice things that you don’t mind taking home. Our favorite restaurant was Harry’s. We dined there 3 times and it was great every time. Scarlet O’Hara’s has a BBQ pork sandwich that’s awesome! We enjoyed the tour of the Old Jail (Caught the trolley over) and the lighthouse tour. You will need to drive over for this and it is worth the time. The National Park beach is also nice ($5 per car) and chair/ bike rentals are available. It is just past the lighthouse.
