Great place. Can't wait to come back. Place was very clean. Existing staples for kitchen were great. Wonderful view through living room window of mountain side and deck view of Diamond Peak and side view of Lake Tahoe. Unfortunately for us, we only were able to stay one day out of our four day rental because of a winter storm. Don and Cherel were very understanding. It was an unusual circumstance, but if snow is anticipated, make sure you either have snow tires or 4-wheel drive. Perfect location in Incline Village. Wireless Internet was sufficient. A wonderful VRBO experience.

The previous reviews are all spot on. It is a great condo with fabulous views. Very clean and well laid out. Thanks for having spices, coffee filters, and saran wrap available. It is so nice not to have to buy those items. Our 6 year old loved the VHS machines and the videos. Hysterical that he had only ever used DVDs and therefore was not familiar with the concept of rewind. We received our security deposit back within 3 days. Would definitely rent again!

On our arrival we were pleasantly suprised to find the condo so clean and well equiped. For a special added touch, Christmas decorations and lights were added. We felt right at home. I am sure we will be returning to this location again for our next family outing.

This was our first time to use Home Away, and we have to say that it was a great experience. The great experience however was due to the fact that Cherel and Don have a wonderful place, and its very well maintained. Every day we drove to another part of the lake to enjoy all the things that make this place unique. We went to Northstar, Squaw Valley, Donner Lake, Truckee, Emerald Bay and Tahoe City. The summers there are fantastic, but I can’t wait to see it in the winter. When we first thought about vacationing in Lake Tahoe we were thinking more about South Lake Tahoe, but now that we have been there I much prefer Incline village. The Condo has a great view of the lake as well as Diamond Peak Ski Area. We were also impressed with the dining options. We had pizza at Tomaato's, a great steak at the Big Water Grill (great view) and great Tapas at Bites. Honestly...I have to say that the bed in the master bedroom was sooo comfortable. It’s a little detail, but it makes for a very nice stay. We also really enjoyed the beaches, and walking down Lakeshore Blvd...Those are some amazing homes on Lakeshore Blvd. Mark and Beth Wright Austin, TX

We totally enjoyed our stay at the townhouse! It was very convenient to the ski areas, resturants and grocery store. The view of the lake and Diamond Peak was wonderful!!! This property is extremely clean and had everything we needed. Don and Cherel very responsive to our inquiry and they handle the whole transaction in a very professional manner. We are very pleased with our decision and would highly recommend renting from them if you find yourself in the Tahoe area! The place was very comfortable, the high windows in the great room allowed us to enjoy the beautiful vistas. The kitchen was well stocked and the home had all the amenities you could need. The open floor plan is another great feature of this property. Can't say enough. Thank you Don and Cherel for sharing your property with us!

We had a great stay at the townhouse! It is convenient--just a couple of minutes by car and walkable (in good weather if you don't mind hills) to restaurants, a grocery store, etc. in Incline Village--and looks out at the runs on Diamond Peak, which would be great during ski season. The view of the mountains is beautiful and you can see the Lake from the deck. The rental was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Don and Cherel were great to rent from--much more prompt and on top of things than some other VRBO hosts we've rented from. The place was really comfortable. The bed was firm and the sofa was roomy and comfy too. The high windows ensure the great room is bright and warm. The kitchen was well stocked and the home had all the amenities you could need. The only possible drawback would be that there is no good place for kids to run around outside in nice weather. We are kid-less so this wasn't a problem but the hills around the complex are steep and the driveway is asphalt--no grass or good level surface outside for them. The stairs are steep and the driveway drops off pretty far for snow push-out areas in places. We'd intended to have friends with kids come up but decided against it. The beaches and parks are nearby so it shouldn't be a deal-breaker for families and the home is stocked with games, books and kid-friendly DVDs but we thought it worth mentioning. We loved this home and intend to return during winter sometime to get the full experience of being across from the slopes.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in late August, and had a wonderful time. The condo is built into a steep hillside and has great views of Diamond Peak ski resort and Lake Tahoe. It is very quiet and peaceful...the only sound is the wind whispering through the pine trees! The condo was very clean and well maintained. There are three floors: first floor is the garage/entry, second floor has two bedrooms, and top floor is the kitchen and living area. Kitchen has all of the dishes etc. that you will ever need. Top floor has cathedral ceilings and lots of sun during the day. Don and Cherel were very helpful in arranging our stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway at Lake Tahoe! For a great hike, we recommend the Lighthouse/Rubicon Point at D.L. Bliss State Park. It is 2.5 miles long, with spectacular views of Lake Tahoe. It is on the southwest side of the lake, but well worth the drive!

My family and I were up in early August and would easily return. For a family of 4, it's a great lay-out. We were up in early August and the condo had all the amenities we were looking for. We went to the local private beach and Sand Harbor (alternating days) and we just LOVED it. We went out for dinner 2 nights and BBQ'd on the deck the other night. Don and Cheryl did a great job with their place and we hope to return again soon (summer and winter, if we can). Pros: Location, Incline Village/Diamond Peak. Love it. Friendly and responsive owners. Condo amenities -- washer/dryer, full kitchen, wi-fi, cable, everything is stocked, etc. Cons: None. Book it. :-)

Our son Ben (22) is working for six months for the Nevada Conservation Corps out of Reno. My wife and I and our other son Pat (23) went out for a long week-end for a visit. Ben invited a friend of his from the Corps and so there were five of us. The townhouse worked out great. We cooked steaks on the grill and made big breakfasts in the mornings. We relaxed with drinks on the balcony and spent many hours eating and talking and laughing at the dining room table. There was plenty of room for all of us. Don and Cherel were great to deal with. They have stocked their place with everything you need. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this townhouse.

We loved this place! Don & Cherel were so easy to deal with and very accomodating as well. Loved the open floorplan with kitchen, dining & living room on top floor made cooking easy and enables you to still watch TV or movie, or engage in conversation outside kitchen if friends are there. Just my husband and I this time, but would love to come back with another couple. Perfect space for two couples. I don't ski, but the view of Diamond Peak made me want to come back in winter to a different beautiful view and to watch the people ski down that hill while I am warm inside by the fire! In summer the location is peaceful and not too far of a drive to all the Tahoe "hot spots" around the lake. What a treat! Thank you Don & Cherel for everything!

We stayed at this beautiful Townhome for a period during the summer and winter of 2008. I can't imagine anything better. Very well located, clean, comfortable and supplied with more than I could have imagined. What a bargain to boot! We went to the nearby beaches, casinos (with their musicals and other entertainment), restaurants, ski resort and enjoyed a beautiful drive over the "hill" to Reno and Carson City. Very nice...could not have been better.

We stay in VRBO rentals at least once a year, and this one is the best so far. Perfect for two couples. We highly recommend you check-in before you go grocery shopping, they are very well stocked! We loved the electric blankets on those cold nights!!

We stayed here 2/07/09 - 2/14/09. This condo is the best on VRBO we have stayed in. It was very clean, neat and comfortable. The view is awesome. The setup provides great privacy for 2 couples vacationing together. The king bed is sooooo comfy - kinda like the Westin Heavenly bed. The kitchen is equipped with all the dishes, pots and pans you'll need. We will definitely stay here again when our vacation plans include the Incline Village area. Thanks Don and Cherel, Bev and Jim

We've stayed at many VRBO's and this one goes to the top of the list. Pack your clothes and toothbrush, this townhome has everything else you need: hairdryer, umbrellas, iron, fans, a kitchen better equipped than my own and anything else you may need. It was very clean and up to date. A perfect location and views from the deck of the mountain and Lake Tahoe. Although it was just the two of us, this townhome can accommodate up to six easily. We enjoyed our week at Don and Cherel's home. This one is a winner!!!!

Don and Cheryl's condo proved to be a fine choice for our ski trip. The direct views of the slopes at Diamond Peak are great. We enjoyed the gas fireplace, HBO TV, wireless Internet, and the well stocked kitchen. It's more like staying at a friends house than a typical rental. Verizon and T-Mobile cell phones work fine from this location. This is a 3 level townhouse with the living area on the top floor, and two identical bedrooms/baths on the middle floor. There is a carport, and the one limitation in this development is the parking is a bit tight for large vehicles. Heavenly, Squaw, and Alpine Meadows are just 30-40 minutes drive. I'd recommend this condo and Incline Village to anyone. We hope to visit again ourselves, so please stay here only if you are going to take extremely good care of it!

Dec. '07 We loved the townhouse - it was so nice, well-equipped and cozy. We had a nice time watching the snowstorm from the living room. The Village was beautiful with all the snow. The Internet access was a real plus - in fact one of the reasons we decided on your condo. We would definitely like to return next year. Thank you for a very nice vacation.

Excellent property and location. Great views of the mountains and lake tahoe. The condo is in great condition and is well stocked - didn't need to bring a single thing. The layout is great for a family or social getaway. We stayed in summer so it was quiet with Diamond Peak closed for the seasons. We look forward to staying at this place again.
