The Blue Lagoon House of Lake Lure / Chimney Rock is located within walking distance of the beach at Lake Lure where you can swim, rent a boat, dive, and go fishing in season. The backyard of this house overlooks a Lagoon which opens into Lake Lure. The entrance to Chimney Rock Park and downtown Chimney Rock is only a mile away. There is hiking, fishing, shopping at quaint shops, rock climbing and beautiful mountain views.
This house is a great escape during any season.

Spring: The mountainsides are covered with blooming dogwood trees, rhododendrons, and laurels. This time of year is wonderful to see Chimney Rock park and enjoy the magnificent views of the Hickory Nut Gorge. Consider having a picnic and enjoying the wild flowers. Don't forget to do some trout fishing in the Rocky Broad River.
Summer: Explore the quaint shops of picturesque Chimney Rock Village. Enjoy the beach at Lake Lure, fishing, and boating. Consider a dinner overlooking the water during sunset.
Fall: Take a walk to and along the Lake Lure boardwalk surrounded by mountains and enjoy the fall foliage. Enjoy a round of golf then go shopping for crafts in Chimney Rock.
Winter: Enjoy sitting by the fireplace or take a day trip to a ski resort, Asheville, or a casino.
