Location: Sapphire Beach, East End, USVI - St. Thomas, Caribbean (About 1 mile from Red Hook)

At Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina the view is absolutely breathtaking, offering a post card view of St John and the British Virgin Islands. Our condo is located about fifteen feet from the waters edge on the second floor. The view makes it look as though you are floating on the Caribbean Sea. You may spend your evenings sitting on the chairs on the balcony and taking in the view, the lights on the other islands twinkling in the distance and the pleasure boats entering and departing the marina. The resort offers two fine beaches; one for swimming and the other in front of our building which is better suited for snorkeling. The fresh water pool is only 150 feet away.

Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina is located at the East End of the Island, we are approximately 12 miles from Cyril E. King Airport (45 minute ride), we are known as the shopping capital of the Caribbean offering Duty Free shopping in Charlotte Amalie 30 minutes away. In the section of the island known as Red Hook, five minutes away from the condo, you can catch the Ferry to St. John, Tortorla, Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke. Attractions offered by the island include Atlantis Submarine, BOB Underwater Adventure three and a half hour aboard 60 foot yacht, diving and snorkeling, Coral World, Divi Carina Bay Casino, Casino in St. Croix, Pistarckle Theater, Theater in Tillett Gardens, Air conditioned theater with more than 100 seats, Skyride to Paradise Point, and V.I. National Park on St. John. For the golfers in the group Mahogany Run, 18 hole golf course.

  • Thank you so much for the incredible accomodations. Marsha, you did a fantastic job on the condo remodel. Our trip to St. Thomas in Feb. 2008 was a complete surprise for my wife for our anniversary and we were both impressed with your home. From start to finish we had a great time. It was very helpful to have Charles pick us up a the airport. We stopped at the market on the way to the condo which allowed us to eat breakfast on the balcony each morning to start the day. I really liked the second floor location as it provided more privacy than the first floor units. Looking at the other condos on vrbo it is my opinion that you have the nicest unit at Saphire Beach. I'm sure your balcony table and chairs are the finest as we looked back at all the buildings as we walked along the beach and most were small and dirty looking. The tall chairs provided for a great view of the beach and activity. I liked the location next to the small marina. We enjoyed watching the local boats coming and going out for fishing and excursions. It wasn't noisy at all and was nice to walk around and see the nice boats. Your location in unit E was nice and quiet. It is a short walk to the Grill (which has very good food and service) and little store for treats and such. There is a lot of activity at the other end such as volley ball, snorleling, bands, cruise ship adventurers, etc. and it was nice to venture over there to visit but nice to sit on our beach for privacy. Building E is at the quiet end of the resort. Most of the time we were 2 of maybe 6 people on the beach. The water was clear and warm with small waves to play in. Nice palm tree provided shade when needed. The condo faces St. John and does in fact get the tradewinds which is awesome. I didn't realize how nice it was to have the winds until we went to other areas without tradwinds that were hot and a bit stuffy. I could go on and on and on but really wanted to let those interested in Marsha's place know how much we appreciated all of her kindness and attention to ensuring our trip was awesome.   • Simply fabulous! Just visited for a week in February 2008. No words can really describe the fantastic view and the wonderful accomodation! Beaches galore, nice on-site retaurant/bar, easy transportation to Red Hook and the ferry to St. John. Highly, highly recommend this unit and the owners, namely Marsha, who take great care in making sure everything is superb! Would love to visit again!

  • Hi Marsha, We just loved our stay in E207 the first part of November. Everything there has the right feel. It's clean, comfortable and pretty, and the view is really and truly gorgeous. Your choices in decor are just lovely, from the bathroom ( we really love that tiled walk-in shower and that type of shower head ) to the kitchen and seating areas. I used the new microwave several times and loved it, too. My family and I were commenting on the great choice of patio sets. The chairs are comfy and the right height to allow you to see easily over the railing. And, you were right about being able to find just enough shade from the morning sun during breakfast. Thank you, too, for the call after we arrived to be sure everything was as we expected. Renting from an owner and not a management company, it is nice to know things are looked after. We would not hesitate to rent from you again.

  • We had an excellent stay. The view from the balcony is one of the best, looking out at St. John. Just feet from the water and excellent snorkeling and swimming. This unit was just what we were looking for. The owners are wonderful, they treated us like old friends. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay, this is it. Very clean, the best view on the island. Close to marina, also Red Hook. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

  • MY HUSBAND & I HAD A BALL AT YOUR CONDO AT SAPHIRE BCH RESORT. WE FELT RIGHT AT HOME & WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED FOR OUR STAY. WE ARE IN THE BOAT BUSINESS, SO WE REALLY LOVED BEING NEXT TO THE MARINA. WE ENJOYED WATCHING THE BOATS COMING & GOING, PLUS THE CONVIENENCE OF HAVING THE BOAT/JETSKI RENTALS ON SITE, WAS A BONUS. YOUR BALCONY VIEW IS AWESOME! YOU KNOW YOU'RE IN FOR A TREAT WHENEVER THERE IS A ROADSIDE SCENIC OVERLOOK ON YOUR PROPERTY. GREAT SNORKLING FROM THE BEACH, GREAT LOCATION, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. HEAVEN!!"
