A Unique, Upscale 4BR Riverside House - Walking Distance to Town and Slopes
- Minimum stay:N/A
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
4BR/3.5BA home with one of the best riverfront locations in town! Close enough to walk to Main Street and the slopes (or ride the free shuttle), yet still have the tranquility of the surrounding trees and the relaxing sounds of the river in your backyard. The house layout is designed to provide many options for guests to gather -- whether it is hanging out in the large, full kitchen, relaxing on one of the two decks overlooking the river, or playing games (board games, pool, Wii) in one of the four game/great rooms.
Riverside is tailored for rental guests with an entry room to store your skis/snowboards, a full and spacious laundry room, high-definition TVs in each bedroom and great room, a Wii with many games, and a large and fully-equipped kitchen. The floor plan includes separate and communal spaces to hang out (indoor and outdoor) and comfortable furnishings geared toward all levels of activities (including naps!). There is something for all age groups and interests at the house to keep you happy when you aren’t skiing, hiking, shopping, or exploring Breckenridge. Board games and Wii for gamers, high speed WiFi for personal computers (or use the provided computer), an indoor jet tub and an outdoor hot tub, quiet spaces to read or nap, and a pool table for friendly competition.
Seven (7) beds spread across 4 bedrooms including two master bedrooms with private bathrooms and two multi-bed bedrooms with a jack-and-jill bathroom (perfect for two families). Four separate rooms for different activities (pool room, upstairs great room, downstairs great room and game room) as well as a full and spacious kitchen, two large decks and two large tables (one indoor, one outdoor) for group meals. The living spaces are covered in floor-to-ceiling windows that provide an beautiful backdrop of falling snow in the winter and wildflowers in the summer. Two fireplaces and heated floors throughout the house provide warm comfort when it’s cold outside. This house is truly unique in its combination of comfort, amenities and union with the mountains (and river!) of Breckenridge.
Unique aspects:
Riverfront property:
There are very few riverfront houses in Breck. The river is a constant source of background tranquility in the winter and summer. It never totally freezes and the sound of the trickling water is relaxing, no matter the season.
Location, Location, Location!
Save on parking by walking to the Quicksilver Lift or the Beaver Run Super Chair to ski. Walk to town for meals or walk to the bus stop for a free bus ride anywhere in town, including the slopes. Close to town/slopes without the business of Breckenridge in the winter.
Useful space:
Riverside’s living space has been furnished to provide many independent gathering spaces to allow activities in different size groups.

This was a great house for our family - we have 3 boys. Good location, walking distance to everything, and a great layout. The pictures did not really do the house justice.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2

My wife and I thought Riverside would be perfect for our first family ski trip. We had our 3 grown children, 1 of their spouses and 1 grandchild. 4 of them had never skied before, but they all wanted to try skiing. If they enjoyed skiing, then Riverside was close to the slopes. If skiing was not their thing, then Riverside was close to town. And if they just wanted to chill, you guessed it. Riverside has a pool table, hot tub and many other forms of entertainment. Turns out, everyone enjoyed skiing. The weather was a little harsh during our stay, so we chose to eat in. The BBQ pit on the deck and the wonderful kitchen allowed us to cook some tasty meals. Everyone wants to ski again, and if that is possible, Riverside will be our first choice.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The Riverfront House was a perfect place for part of our family from out of town gathering for our son's wedding. We had other accomodations for the rest of our family and relatives, but Riverfront was the best. Nice and roomy, clean, great floor plan, and the sound of the river right below. I would recommend this place, and the owner is great to work with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

My whole family loves this spot and considers it a home away from home! We are fortunate enough that our kids (ages 17-30) still want to vacation with us and I can't imagine staying anywhere else but here. Katie is wonderful to work with and the home has all the amenities needed to entertain everyone. We will keep coming back as long as the house stands! Now we are shooting for a Colorado Christmas!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

This house is huge! It was perfect for our group of 10 people. We loved having three levels. It allowed everyone to spread out and relax. The house is located right next to a bus stop which happens to be the first pick up of many, so it was nice that we were always guaranteed a seat on the busy President's Day weekend. In addition we were able to fit three cars in the driveway, which was perfect. Overall, great house and we will definitely stay there again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Perfect vacation home! It's absolutely huge! We had 5 couples sharing this house comfortably. There's plenty of room for fun activities together, or some quiet time alone. The pool table room upstairs, the hot tub on the lower deck, and game room downstairs by the fireplace were popular spots. The kitchen/dining area was perfect - we were all able to cook/hang out/eat together. We walked easily to the slopes, the sledding hill, and to Main Street. The owners were very easy to work with and our deposit was returned in a timely manner. We will definitely be staying at this house again in the future!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

What an amazing house to relax in - we had a group of 8 that didn't even go skiing and just relaxed in the house. Wonderful, spacious, clean and well maintained home. Quiet and secluded, yet close to everything. Walk to town, shuttle and slopes. Definitely a "home away from home" with well stocked kitchen, large laundry room, game room, flat screen TV's and hot tub. Something for everyone. Responsive, caring owners. We had a wonderful, family holiday and hope we can return sometime.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The pictures on this website do not do this house ANY justice...this is one of the cleanest, nicest houses that I have stayed in. There was plenty of room for everyone with room to spare. The location was great, the town is a 5 minute walk away, slopes are 10 minutes on a shuttle ride...perfect. The owner was very easy to contact in case I had any questions as well. All said and done, this house is great and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a flawless trip to Breck.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
