Tumble out of bed and enjoy a morning ocean walk, returning to breakfast on your oceanview lanai. Snorkel on the reefs right in front of the resort. One of the few condo's with a large Italian tiled lanai overlooking the ocean and a new Lafuma lounge chair to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. You have a front row seat to watch the whales and spinner dolphins at our oceanfront resort. Our guests have gone swimming with the dolphins right in front of Alii Villas.
This Kailua Kona vacation condo is tastefully renovated with Italian floor tile, granite countertops, contemporary art work, leather sectional sofa, maple kitchen cabinets, two queen beds both with new memory foam mattresses, two flat screen T.V's with two dvd players, custom bamboo bath robes, stereo, and five appliances (including in suite washer/dryer and new fridge~2009).
We love to pamper our guests. Lots of complimentary items like an Aloha welcome basket, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, picnic supplies, beach chairs/umbrella's/towels, free parking, soap for laundry and dishwasher, and unlimited phone calls anywhere on the Big Island. We even provide Hawaiian music/movies, a dvd tour of the Big Island, guidebooks and plenty of cultural information.

We are located in the sought after building C near both the ocean and pool. Wonderful solar heated pool is light up at night, and decorated with quality brown jordan furnishings.

Alii Villas, one of the few true oceanfront properites in Kailua-Kona, is a popular, well maintained resort located on scenic Alii Drive, with nothing between it and the ocean except palm trees and lush gardens. It is conveniently located within walking distance from the center of town and 11 miles from airport. Magic sands beach is only minutes away. A little further is Kahalu’s beach park, a renowned snorkeling/surfing that is frequented by large sea turtles.

  • Imagine our delight to find the condo as described, beautifully presented and wonderfully welcoming. The location was excellent, away from the main centre but not too far to be able to walk down for breakfast. The complex was beautifully maintained. I don't know that we are going to be able to help much with suggestions for renovation because we loved it so much as it is. The layout of the condo was logical and practical. The bedroom and bathroom private and the living areas and kitchen generous. The lanai with its fountain and rope lighting was a great place to sit at night. We appreciated the additional inclusions such as the swimming gear which, had we been so energetic, would have added to our convenience. The furniture was comfortable and attractive. So much nicer that the run of the mill furnishings in so many holiday rentals. And I loved the four poster bed. I also loved the tap in the bathroom basin so much that we went to HPM to see if they sold them. Of course they didn't. The rough walls added interest to the interior and seemed to make the space larger. The tiled flooring was perfect for the tropical location. We were grateful for the drip filter coffee maker and all the storage containers for us to store things in the fridge. One thing also we must thank you for was the provision of items such as soaps, shampoo, coffee etc which at 9 pm in an exhausted state we were too tired to shop for. Also thank you for providing cable TV. It gave us a lot of fun because we don't subscribe to cable here. The choice was enormous and I loved the HGTV channel! Finally, we tried to respect the condo and to leave it in the condition in which we found it. Thank you Shannon for providing such a lovely base for our holiday which we will remember as one of our best ever. Margaret (and Bruce) Mayo Orange, Australia

The kitchen contained everything I could possibly need or want for meal preparation and entertaining and the linens were wonderful. I especially enjoyed meals on the lanai with sea glimpses, wonderful sunsets and friendly gecko visits. The water feature is a pleasant addition. The boogie boards were a welcome surprise and saw a few good waves on Hapuna beach. You provide everything to facilitate a wonderfully relaxing and fulfilling time on the magnificent Kona Coast.   • Shannon, I was more then impressed by your lovely comfortable rental. I loved how clean and fully stocked the condo was. It was above and beyond what I had expected. The Patio area was perfect for dinners witht he sun setting. The best surprise was the Gorgeous bed! We also enjoyed movies on the flat screen TV in the living room.   • Mary Wollenhaupt Shannon, How do I begin? The condo...modern, beautiful, everything we could have wanted or needed...and even more than we expected. The bed was almost too pretty to sleep on. The entire condo was equally beautiful and everything, everything was immaculate! Nothing was left out or missing. Based on your suggestions, we had many days of adventuring but returned "home" each evening to a restful dinner on the lanai and hours of the of the Pacific splashing and crashing a few feet away. It was wonderful watching the fishing fleet go out en -masse each morning as we enjoyed our "Kona" on the lanai while playing peek-a-boo with the unbelievably- colored geikos. They finally decided we were no threat and would sun themselves as we relaxed nearby. The entire complex was wonderfully groomed and the work was done so that you hardly knew the workers were there. The pool and deck were always sparkling clean and even though we were near enough to "downtown" to pop out to get anything we might want, once we drove into the complex, there was absolutely no street noise! Quiet!... ahhh. We did a lot of adventuring (almost 900 miles on the rental car) but we Did see the Big Island! Thank you so very much for opening your condo so others may enjoy Hawai'i and thank you for making it a dream-come-true-vacation for me and my cousin, Kay. Needless to say, we were both a little misty-eyed as we closed the door to leave. She lives in Florida and I in North Carolina, so it is a long trip over but worth every travel-minute! I am still looking for the bumper sticker I saw the last day we were there that read "Aloha Y'all." I wish I had spied it the first day we were there, not the last. Mahalo and much Aloha!   • On a scale of one to ten this was an eleven! Beautiful view of the ocean while we relaxed enjoying our evening meals. We loved the carved four poster bed with lovely bedding! Flat screen tv's were a nice touch. We had several memorable romantic meals on the lanai and we were so pleased with the quiet location and very clean conditon of the condo. It was a nice surprise to find the boogie boards. Kona was great. We took your suggestion and went to the Hilton Village and Hapuna beach, and loved the dolphins. Count on us to rent next year!   • Absolutally perfect. The condo couldn't have been any more beautiful. Thank you so much- our stay in hawaii was accentuated by the huge and fully equiped bedroom, spacious and sunny living room, and luxerious bedroom. Everything was detailed for royals to stay, but we only payed $139 per night! Significantly lower price than ANY other place we looked at, but also far nicer than anywhere else! We enjoyed surfing and suberine tours just by walking on the beach and everyone was so friendly. Thank you again, the condo was amazing. We look forward to staying there again next time we are in Hawaii!
