We just returned from our mini ski vacation at this fabulous slopeside condo!! Skiing in shortsleeves and no gloves was wild! Even though it rained a few days, having the spacious place to stay was worth it. The condo is everything that is advertised and more. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of nice cooking utensils and appliances that made the stay even better. You can cook all your meals and not have a need for anything extra!! Very rare for rentals.. The new masterbath was a nice treat after skiing! The stone shower floor felt so good on tired feet! The owners are very accomodating and quick to respond. We will definitely rebook for next year!!

First I would like to say WOW. We visit Snowshoe every year and have stayed at several locations. We know where we will book every year from now on. This is truly a ski in ski out condo. You can ski right up for lunch or to grab a drink then back on the slopes in minutes. With the things this condo offers such as key code for the door and the ski passes you save hours by not having to check in at the depot. You can unload your car and be skiing within 30 minutes. The cabin has an awesome wood burning fireplace huge living room/den, huge master bedroom with brand new master bath. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a 5 star meal. I could go on and on about our stay. Charlie and Donna were amazing to work with and all of our questions were answered right away. Thank you guys for allowing us to use your place, we will be back next year and refer you to everyone we know.

Outstanding customer service and above average decor. The other WistlePunk unit we stayed in the year before was exact same floor plan, but this one is more updated and more like a home than a rental unit. Big open floor plan. King in Master & updated Masterbath is a big plus! We brought xbox Kinect which requires a lot of space & there was plenty of room to play. Locations cannot be beat. Not sure why you would stay anywhere else. Love sking out the back deck. Since you are right on the hill, you can start out 10 minutes before the slopes open & be the first ones up the lift. Quicker to go home for lunch then to go to the boathouse to eat. Thanks to Charlie & Donna for sharing their home & a wonderful skiing experience. I recommend getting the Corporate passes & bringing walkie talkies if you are with a group that wants to try to stick together. With no cell phone reception & so many slopes & lifts it is hard to find each other if you get separated. Lower unit, so you have to take stairs (if you had a non skier that could not do stairs, you would want a unit on main floor. We prefer this level as you could get up enough speed to go up that back yard & not have to take many stair in your ski boots. Can't beat this slope side experience!!

We had a terrific time spending part of our holidays at this condo. The ambiance is wonderful and cozy. We enjoyed the working fireplace so much and the view of skiers passing by just outside the windows. We had four teenagers in tow and the bunk beds in the second bedroom gave us plenty of sleeping space for them without having to rent a more costly 3 bedroom unit. The decor of the condo gave a real ski lodge feel to the place and everything we needed was provided. The condo is close in enough to the village center that the trail just off of the porch was open even though the resort only had about half of its slopes open when we were there. The owners were super helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay at this condo again on future visits.

This place is awsome! Convenient to the slopes with a newly remodeled master bath. Walk right out the back door and the Powder Monkey lift is right there! About a 5 minute walk to the Village, we really enjoyed our time at Snowshoe.

This unit is truly a ski n ski out for even beginner skiers. My family skis only once a year and we were able to put our skis on and head down to the lifts with no worries. You are right on the slopes and can talk to the skiers as they pass you or just enjoy watching. It is so convenient for stopping in for lunch or when you need a break. The decor is very nice and clean. There is a nice big family room with a large table to gather and play games. You are as short walk to the village and you really never have to leave for anything. My family will definitely stay there again.

We have stayed in this condo 3 years in a row. With teenage boys and a preschooler, it's hard to find something that everyone likes. Well I can tell you, all 3 of them look forward every year to our ski get away. The ski-in ski-out is truly a blessing. With a 4 yr. old, we have to carry everything and it's so easy to get to the slopes, strap in and go. The accomodations have been great! We love building a fire and making s'mores. Donna & Charlie have always answered any questions and been a pleasure to work with. The condo is stocked with everything you need. It's nice not having to worry about bringing everything from home. We definitely would recommend this to anyone. As you can tell, we've been here 3 years in a row and are planning on making it 4.

We love to ski at Snowshoe Mt. We believe that this is the perfect place to stay, literally a ski in-ski out condo. When you are ready for lunch or just a quick break from the snow you can ski right to the condo and you are there. Another great feature is that just right across the street is "Cup Run" and other black diamond runs. Our whole family enjoyed walking a few steps across the street, clipping into our skis and snowboards and heading down the mountain for another great adventure. You don't even need to get onto a lift, just take off ! The shuttle pick up is also located right in front of the condo so when you are ready for shopping or dinner out in the village you are only a few steps away, perfect when its snowing and you don't want to get your car out. Can not say enough, this is the "place to stay" !

VERY ACCOMODATING. IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER. NICE, CLEAN, WELL STOCKED, SLOPE SIDE, IT WAS WONDERFUL. SNOWED A FOOT THE DAY WE WENT UP. WE COULD ACTUALLY JUST SKI OUT THE BACK DOOR. We stayed at Whistlepunk last winter but haven't written a review until now. We love to ski at Snowshoe Mt. and this is an awesome 2-br condo! It is truly ski-in, ski-out and Cup Run and other black diamond runs are right across the street. Whistlepunk has a real mountain feel -- alphine architecture, large stone fireplace and big living area for everyone to hang out in. The extra features are great -- keyless entry system, heated ski equip area and optional lift tickets. The shuttle pick up is also located right in front of the condo so when you want to go to the village you are only a few steps away. The condo is clean, comfortable and well stocked. Donna answered all of our questions promptly and asked for feedback later. We will definitely be back!

What a fantastic spot! It’s a true ski-in/ ski-out… I literally went down three steps, put my skis on, and took off down the hill (there was a LOT of snow around). We stayed mid-week and the slopes were absolutely vacant - there were no lift lines at all. This unit is convenient to the other side of the mountain too - Cupp Run lift is right across the street, as is the bus stop to Silver Creek. The condo was clean and well furnished -there was even a crock pot in the kitchen- and lots of room to hang around. There are even places to heat your boots right next to the wall heaters. All the people saying Snowshoe’s-service-is-lacking obviously work for other resorts. Everyone I saw was more than friendly and very helpful. Parking was awesome - right in front of the unit. I would love to stay here again - thank you!!

Our family enjoyed the condo and the location was perfect! We could go right down the stairs and begin skiing. The lift was so close to the condo, every day we met for lunch at the condo and got right back to the slopes! Our youngest took ski lessons for a few days and we were able to walk to the Village area without having to deal with driving/parking. The condo was very nice, there is a full kitchen and we loved the heating elements for the boots! Our family had a wonderful vacation and we will be back!

The Perfect Family Skiing Experience: Whistlepunk and Snowshoe!

My family of 5 just returned from a skiing vacation at Whistlepunk. I highly recommend the unit, the skiing, and the overall experience! The unit is a true ski-in/ski-out backing right up against one of the mountain's green slopes. Our two bedroom unit was fantastic. Highlights include an upscale TV, modern kitchen, jacuzzi tub, fire place, new rug, and an advanced, electric base-board heating system. The unit also has an access code key entry system and wall safe. We especially liked the Whistlepunk unit being adjacent to the Snowshoe Village Center which is a 10 minute walk from the unit or a one-minute shuttle ride. Once you arrive and park at Whistlepunk, there is really no need to get back into your car until you have to leave! The village center looks like something out of The Sound of Music, all nicely laid out with an assortment of restaurants, shops, and ski rentals. The resort also has a shuttle that runs every 10 minutes and which stops right in front of Whistlepunk. Our family used the shuttle several times to go to shopping for food, night skiing a few miles away, and to an upscale restaurant 2 miles away called "The Embers". The skiing was also great with 5 major ski lifts and a great assortment of green, blue, and black slopes! No need to return to the unit for lunch either as there are several "on slope" restaurants at both the top and bottom of the ski runs. If you're looking for a great East Coast skiing resort and accomodations at reasonable prices, consider Whistlepunk. I told the owner on the phone yesterday that we will most likely return again next year!

We had a great stay at Slopeside Attraction. Once we parked our vehicle we didn't get in it again until it was time to leave. Short walk to the village or you can walk across the parking lot in front of unit to catch the shuttle. As others said, truly ski-in and ski-out, you just walk right out the back and you are on the slopes. The unit has everything you need and everything works great. Our triplets sons had plenty of room in the second bedroom and the master suite is huge. The owners are great (one of the best we have ever dealt with). We plan on returning to this same unit in the future.

We were very disappointed in our stay at this particular condo. It stateS it is a 2br + den (Accommodations: Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Den, 2 Baths (Sleeps 6-8), it DOES NOT, repeat DOES NOT, have a seperate den, only the primary living room. I even asked specifically when I called if it had an additional den and was told yes, but it did not so we had to put an 11 yr old in the living room The shower in the master bath was leaking. The listing previously stated it had an outdoor grill and showed and outdoor grill but it DID NOT have an outdoor grill. If you like a rustic villa, this is perfect. I'm not complaining about the decor, it was fine but disappointed in what I stated. I called the owner twice about the additional den and got no response.

Owner response:This guest sent us an email 4 days after their return home that had these words...."really enjoyed our stay", "everything was great", "thank you for sharing your place with us, we had a wonderful time!"....... i attempted to phone the guest after her review was posted to discuss the issues she wrote about and she hung up on me. I have since sent an email asking about the contradictory information and she has not responded. This guest obviously needed to book a 3 bedroom villa and I would've gladly referred them to a neighboring villa, which I have done many times for potential guests that need more space or privacy. We are correcting the situation with the "leaky shower".....the issue there - if the shower curtain wasn't closed well, a small amount of water would get on the floor. Regarding the grill, there was one on-site that we would have directed them to but they chose to grill their steaks in our fireplace! I ENCOURAGE ANY PROSPECTIVE GUESTS TO READ ALL OF OUR REVIEWS...

Superb location to Western lift. Roomy and clean. Make sure to get Wifi password prior to arrival. Separate mudroom is very convenient. If you care about decor- the bathrooms are a bit dated but functional. All-in-all a great stay. Would recommend to friends.

What a fabulous vacation! I have stayed at 2 other places at Snowshoe that don't even compare....I just assumed that all they had to offer was small and adequate..not this place! PLENTY of room! LOVED the private mud room and balcony, trays for boots by the heat, kitchen had all the tools I needed, and sweet flannel sheets! Walking out to trail that my kids can ride (green) and being able to jump in for mittens in the dryer and a snack...sweet! Nice tv s with dvd options in other rooms makes for happy kids and adults in the evenings. The owners are great to work with too. Can't wait to go again!

Late December during a strong snow storm battering the East Coast...it was a difficult drive because of the weather but after getting there it was like nothing else existed but the slopes! It's a cozy little spot that was clean, plenty of fire wood and a great spot to jump in your boots, step outside and ski or board down the mount. The owners are great to deal with and very accommodating, I plan on going back to the same spot. It's in walking distance of the main restaurant and shopping area and if anywhere is too far, the bus stop is right outside of the condo. Plenty of fun!

Love this condo! Location is everything and this place is the bomb. It is ski-in/ski-out perfection. The walk to the village is no too long but just enough to enjoy the mountain feel. This condo is truly one of the best locations on the mountain. We've stayed in many places at Snowshoe and this is our favorite. It is so convenient to everything. It was great being able to stop in at any time we needed a break or something to eat. The condo is very roomy and comfortable. We had eight people and never felt crowded and the sleeper sofa was the most comfortable we've ever slept on. You will not regret renting this condo!

Just back from Snowshoe and ready to return already! The condo is wonderful, large, clean and close to everything. I highly recommend this condo. Its the "perfect" ski condo. It was a perfect 3 day getaway...the condo is an alpine paradise with an alpine feel...loved the big stone fireplace, the large roomy den for relaxing after skiing, playing games or just hanging out. Liked the large kitchen with stone floor. Rooms were clean, nice mountainish decor which added to the alpine feel. One of the best things is skiing right out the front door. No hauling skis to the top of the lift and being worn out when you get there. I've skied all over the world and experieced a first on the first run of the second day. 4 deer crossed over the run right in front of us! That was a free and priceless experience.

This condo is INCREDIBLE! It is HUGE and the beds are very comfortable. The huge dinner table allows for a great atmosphere. The condo is also great because it is literally "put your skies on and head down the mountain from your BACKDOOR" I have only the highest praise. It is hard to find such a great place that is so close to the mountain and still within walking distance to all the restraunts, shops, bars. I highly recommend this condo to anyone.
