This home and resort have everything for you to enjoy a great winter vacation, with all the social and recreational activities and amenities. Grocery store, restaurants, beauty salon, bank, golf courses and much more just across the street. Small, housebroken pets are allowed within certain guidelines and restrictions, smoking is not allowed in the home.
TV and DVD Player are provided with rental. WiFi is provided in the resort and Cable Internet access is available. The home is fully equipped for you to start enjoying the Arizona sun as soon as you arrive. All kitchen utensils, bedding, bathroom towels and washclothes are provided. The owners live in the resort in case you have questions or concerns during your stay.
Canyon Vistas Rv Resort is nestled at the base of the breathtaking Superstition Mountains in the exclusive Gold Canyon area southeast of Phoenix, Arizona. The resort was newly built in 1999 and has over 600 oversized resort sites, offering more space on each site and the average age of the residents is mid-sixties.
AN EXCLUSIVE FEATURE THAT WE OFFER TO OUR RENTERS - Some of the events in the early part of a month require that a reservation be made before the first of the month. So you will not miss out on any activitiy that you may want to attend during your stay, we will purchase tickets for you and you can reimburse us when you arrive.
We are the only rental that offers this service.
Our rates have remained the same for the last 5 years and will not increase for the 2011 - 2012 season.
Crystal Seas Travel, a full service Travel Agency, is owned & operated by the rental owners. Travel Certificates are offered with every rental and referral. Travel Certificates never expire and can be used toward the purchase of travel packages from Crystal Seas Travel.

The owners, Gary & Barbara, also live in the resort part time and are available if you have any qustions, concerns, or problems. We lived in this home for a short time before we purchased another home in the resort to live in and made the home in this listing available as a rental. We were the first in the resort to offer a private rental so we have the experience and knowledge to make you stay enjoyable.
Why the Owner Chose Gold Canyon
Canyon Vistas Resort is a very active resort where the average age of the residents is approximately 65 years. The homes are situated on the lots so you have more personal space than in other similar resorts. The location of the resort is ideal, this resort is far enough from the Phoenix metro area so you still have open spaces but still close enough to stores and shopping in the Apache Junction and Mesa areas. You have easy access to Hwy 60 and the 202 Loop.
The Unique Benefits of this Mobile Home
An Information Book has been prepared by the owners giving renters local information regarding shopping, restaurants, golfing, resort guidelines and local attractions. This book is very helpful to first time visitors. Our goal is to make your stay in our home as enjoyable as possible. The home is completely furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and ready for you to start enjoying the warm Arizona sun.

I rented this Unit for 5 months and was very happy with my accommodations. I have a small Bichon and was delighted to be in such a friendly neighbourhood - 10th Street is one of the most friendly areas in my opinion - I was able to make friends and I participated in alot of activities. Barbara and Gary are terrific landlords and are very quick to respond to a need. I think anyone would be fortunate to rent this Park Model, I am buying a Park Model at Canyon Vistas and will be returning yearly. I have been in a unique situation because I am married and my husband is still working; he came down for visits and enjoyed the activities while he was here. I feel very safe in this Resort.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+.

We stayed in this unit in the spring of 2008 for a month. The home is comfortable and has all amenities. (Laundry facilities are at the park center and very well maintained) The park is very friendly and has a great pool and activities. We would definately stay here again.

This is a great place to be to get away from it all. The accomodations are new and very comfortable and there is a carport for your car or just leave large items. Kathie and I felt that we and our belongings were very safe. The residents were very welcoming, so conversation with folks was quite easy. It is quiet and at night the stars are bright. In the morning we went to coffee to meet other early risers and trade stories. There is a very well equipped exercise room, so we could tell our friends that we were on vacation to get trimmed up! Ask Gary how to use the equipment. Over all, the experience was excellent and we hope to be back. Thanks Barb and Gary!! Nelson & Kathie

This home was purchased in 2006 by the current owners. This is a 2005 Park Model home and was owned by the resort prior to the current owner purchasing it. The owners also live in another home in the resort during the winter months. Pets have not previously been allowed in the home and smoking was and is not allowed in the home.
