It was wonderful to return to the cabin again. Staying there is great. We discovered a couple of small ponds on a walk past the cabin and enjoyed watching the trout swim and feed in the shallow water during the early evening.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I planned a surprise birthday weekend getaway for my husband and Cherrylog was absolutely perfect. We were accompanied by another couple, very dear friends of ours, and enjoyed our stay. The weekend we were there was cold, foggy, and rainy; we would not have had it any other way! You really do not realize how much fun you can have being indoors. One of the days the power even went out and let me tell you we made the best of it. We played games, grilled dinner, made smores, and when the power came back on all you could hear was, "Hot tub!!!!" That was one of the most enjoyable parts of the trip. We all had a great time enjoying a few drinks and catching up on life :) I would highly recommend this cabin. It is so serene and just beautiful.
Recommended for:Age 55+, romantic getaway.

Great view and sunset. Cabin nicely appointed. There is a hiking trail 2 blocks from the cabin - this was a nice find. Also, an easy 15 minute drive into Blue Ridge. Thanks, Bill, for sharing your lovely property with us! Kathleen and Mark

Sunset view, privacy (hardly a cabin in sight), clean with all the amenities. It was better than we had anticipated. We will be back.

Bill, thanks for a week of paradise. The cabin was fantastic, the view - gorgeous! We loved Ellijay, Cherry Log and Blue Ridge. Hope to visit again soon.

We thought the cabin, the furnishings, and other amenities were above and beyond what we had expected. The view was beautiful as promised. The cabin and all in it was clean, neat, and extremely comfortable. A great weekend escape.

This cabin was perfect for our not-do-a-thing all weekend getaway. It was cozy and very comfortable. The view was stunning. We will come again.

This is by far the best cabin we've ever stayed in! The view of the mountains is amazing...the hot tub is wonderful...the cabin is immaculate...the furniture, games, DVD's, cd's, etc, etc, etc all make it our best mountain trip ever! We will never stay anywhere else, except Sunset Mountain View, from now on!!

Beautiful Views...Beautiful cabin! Decorated to perfection. The perfect getaway from big city noise and stress; yet close to all the necessary conveniences. Our family had a wonderful stay and were fascinated by wild turkeys crossing the road on ocassion. We will definitely be making another trip back to Sunset View cabin.
