We stayed at this place for a week in January in a Ski vacation. We found the place to be very clean, very well kept, at a great location, and at a great price. In the past we've stayed at places that excel at one or two of those aspects, but not all. I would highly recommend it for a family vacation in the South Tahoe area.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

My father and I rented this house for 2 days to go hiking in Lake Tahoe and it turned out to be a great base in South Lake Tahoe. It's centrally located with all needed shops and restaurants very close by. The house is well equipped (special kudos to the refurbished kitchen) and very comfortable. We had two great days at this location and would definitely rent it again in the future.

We loved our stay there. The house is very well equipped and well maintained. Owner is responsive. Other pluses: wii, DVDs/videos, books for kids, fireplace, enough table/counter space, very nice and bright kitchen, nice big yeard, nicely remodeled baths, quiet, clean!! Will definitely go back again. We already recommended to friends!

The owner was friendly and very responsive and returned our deposit in a timely manner. The house was clean, comfy, and fully equipped. It offers everything you would expect in a nice hotel room (towels, toiletry, paper towels, etc.) and beyond! We really appreciated the play room, too. :)

The layout was great for either one or two families. Sleeping rooms upstairs were so spacious, and accomodated all our ski gear. Nice to have the separation between quite sleeping areas and the downstairs which was great for relaxing, games, socializing and eating. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Spare room downstairs had lots of fun games and toys for the kids. Two full baths definitely a plus for a larger group. Owners very thoughtful when it comes to accomodating ski and snow fun, including a drying rack for snow clothes near the fireplace. Location was perfect. Close to both the lake, the south ski areas, the border and the eateries/shopping. And easy to find. We would definitely stay there again!

I've stayed in this house along with other friends and we've just had wonderful stays and shared beautiful memories of moments spent there. There were days when we decided not to go out due to weather conditions (too much snow), nevertheless, the house was so cozy that we still had a blast with the kids, all playing with the Wii, watching some of the family movies provided with the house, playing some of the games close to the warmth of the chimney, baking cookies... writing all these makes me want to leave home and go back there!!! To bad I now live across the country =( The location is great, away enough of the main street to avoid the noise of the cars driving by, but close enough to get anywhere in a couple of minutes.

This was the perfect vacation home for our late August 2011 family trip--including 2 kids, 2 parents, and one disabled grandparent! All the accommodations are exactly as advertised. Rooms are spacious and well-furnished, especially since we were traveling with a 74-year-old who needs comfortable accommodations. Kitchen and baths are high-end and updated--also convenient for little ones and our elderly grandma who is disabled. The porch and Weber bbq gave us pleasant evenings and dinners admiring the mountains and Tahoe skies. Location could not be better. Only a 5 minute drive to Safeway, CVS, and restaurants. But more important it's in a quiet area right near the Bijou Meadows community park and golf course. Residential streets are very quiet, and our kids enjoyed endless bike riding. For trail runners, mountain bikers, and telemarkers, the Powerline Trail is a fabulous single track route that will take you for miles into the wilderness. The meadow nearby is lovely for short strolls and animal watching. Our favorite beach was Pope Beach where we swam, rented a boat, and picnicked. Hands down, we'd recommend this place and will definitely come back. For the prices listed, this is an excellent value. The owners keep everything in good condition (we know because we have come several times).

We stayed a week before xmas 2010 in this house. It was a very tidy and comfortable home for us during that week. With enough room for all of us, a Dutch family of four with grown up kids. We would certainly recommend this house to others. The area around the house a very quiet, with a large park very near.
