Virgin Islands Campground, located on the fourth U.S. Virgin Island, an idyllic little paradise called Water Island, located a short ferry ride yet a world away from bustling St. Thomas.

Enjoy panoramic views of the Caribbean from one of our eco-friendly treetop canvas cabins, relax on beautiful Honeymoon Beach, hike or bike around the island, or take a 7-minute boat ride to St. Thomas or a day trip to St. John.

Each self contained cabin includes a terrace with an ocean view, 110 power outlets, pillowtop mattresses, all linens ( including beach towels), cooking and eating cutlery. The suite also provides a private bathroom with shower.

Don’t feel like cooking? Grab breakfast at the ferry dock or lunch at the beach, where you’ll find the best hamburgers in the Caribbean. Honeymoon Beach, the social hub of the island, also offers all-you-can-eat pizza Fridays, Monday night "drive in" movies on the beach, and ice cold drinks at Joe's Bar. Wireless Internet is accessible throughout the campground and Satellite TV is available in the communication room.

  • The VI Campground was so wonderful. After five days, my husband and I felt renewed and invigorated. It was the perfect beginning to our two week vacation in the Virgin Islands. The campground has all the necessary amenities. For people like me who suffer from email withdrawals, they even provided a laptop and wireless access. To top it all off, the staff at the campground made you feel like you were visiting friends. Everyone on Water Island was friendly and greeted you. Honeymoon Beach was a nice beach without all the crowds you will encounter on the beaches in St. Thomas. Make sure to have taste Heidi's grill chicken sandwich when you are on the beach. Overall, staying at VI Campground was like getting the best of a campground and high price resort at the same time. Make sure to request Cottage #1. It has the best view.
