Living room upstairs with fireplace, beautiful views and easy access to a balcony. Master Bedroom with king, second bedroom with queen, two baths, living room, kitchen/dining area. Downstairs has a large family room with a wetbar, small refrigerator and dishwasher that is a great get-away for children or for separation for two families sharing a vacation. Main downstairs bedroom is a double bed and private bath. Fourth bedroom is the Bunk Room (sleeps 6) with two bunkbeds (singles on the tops and double beds on the bottom). Second bathroom on lower level, washer/dryer, patio.
Enjoy lake and ice fishing, boating (rent pontoon for a day - can also hire fishing guide with all equipment provided), swimming, hunting, ATVing, snowmobile groomed trails or hike national forest, rent sailboats/pontoons, fly fish Colo. Why the Owner Chose Grand Lake
We chose this location for the close proximity to lakes, the National Forest, and to skiing and tubing areas. The area is quiet, yet we can easily access the restaurants, shops, and activities in both Grand Lake and Granby.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The home is only a mile from the snowmobile / ATV trailhead, from the public boat dock on Lake Granby, and the drive-in entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Forest. We can also walk into the forest from the house or to Lake Granby.
Rent a pontoon boat for a day. We grill our fresh trout in tinfoil on the grill. Boat rental is about 1 1/2 miles from our house.
22 elk bedded down for the night in open area in front of our house. Deer, elk, and moose often pass near our house on the way to the lake 2 blocks away to the water.

Sharon & Mike, along with son Kenneth & daughter-in-law Beverly, built the house in 2006. We use it as a vacation home and enjoy spending time there with all of our children and grandchildren. We hope you enjoy our mountain retreat as much as we do.

Great house for a large family

We had 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for all of us. The bedrooms were great and having 4 baths was wonderful. Everything in the house was good quality and the house was well stocked . The only thing we would have like was a little more room on the patio and maybe a better view of the lake. All in all, we had a great time and would return another time.

We chose this home for our summer trip to Grand Lake to see our son perform at the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre. We found the proximity to Grand Lake and the Rocky Mountain National Park worked perfectly. Enjoyed the tranquility of the home's location as well. The home is warm, comfortable, clean and inviting!

We really enjoyed our visit. The beds, linens and towels were really comfortable (something I am always concerned about with vacation rentals) and I really appreciated the well supplied and modern kitchen. Tons of current movies for DVD. Made the visit comfortable, fun and easy. Lots of space and 4 bathrooms makes it easy for a large group. Garage is very large if you have toys to store during visit. The location was great! Close lake access and access to the 4x4/snowmobile trails was very convenient. Owner was responsive, friendly, provided great info and was easy to work with.
