  We arrived at Von Sedas on New Tears Eve- we were so excited whdn we walked in and saw how beautiful the place was. So comfortable and just like home- clean and warm. We had 6 people with us and we just had a blast. The house and property were beautiful and a true home away from home. We had a great fire every night and the warmth ran throughout the home. Kitchen was perfect, it was do easy to make a great meal and serve, whole enjoying everyone's company. We will definitely be back!!

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

  Beautiful house on a beautiful lake. Was the perfect get away from it all spot. Plenty of room for all of my family. We will have our family vacation there again.

  The cabin was clean, the owners were very helpful and available if we needed anything. The cabin was big enough for our whole family and we never felt cramped. Plenty of space to move around. The pictures that are listed are exactly how the cabin appeared. What you see is what you get. Very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this rental.

  This was our third consecutive year coming up to Vonseda's Island Lake Lodge and just like every other year we had a blast! It's such a great feeling to be comfortable in your "home away from home." Bob and Marge take great care of the place and are always available if you need them. I highly recommend to stay here!

  We have just returned from a week vacation. The cabin,amenities, lake and surrounding area exceeded everyones expectations. This is our second time to this cabin and anticipate going again next year.

  VonSeda's Island Lake Lodge is BEAUTIFUL! It is clean, big and everything you'd want in an upnorth cabin. The lake is wonderful - great for swimming and fishing. It's quiet, private and peaceful. We enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend it to anyone!

  The log cabin and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed swimming in the lake with the kids and the guys did a lot of fishing. There is an eagles nest on an island near by that was unbelievable. We also had a few painted turtles come up on the lawn during the week and lay their eggs. We'd never seen anything like it. Thank you so much for the great time!

  We've just returned from a wonderful week at the Vonseda Island Lake Lodge. The web site pictures do not do the lodge justice. We were so pleased with the lodge itself and the outdoor area. Everything was so clean and family oriented. There was so much room. We especially enjoyed the large family room with adjoining kitchen. The view and wild life kept us all in awe. The kids enjoyed the paddle boats and canoe. One little grandaughter stated this vacation was more fun than Disney World. The whole family was pleased with the lodge and we thank Krista and Dirk for a great vacation. The Wagner Family

  This home is located on a beautiful lake in a quiet wooded setting. There were 8 adults (4 couples) and plenty of room for all. We were in the area on an ATV trip, and the house is located just off a trail, no need for auto travel. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have rented the property for next year and added days to our stay. We highly recommend this vacation home to anyone who wants a quiet escape. Fishing, boating, ATV riding, or just kicking back, this is the place.

  I hesitate to share my experience for fear that others will find out what a great place this is. The home is beautiful with plenty of room for our group of 10. It is definitely off the beaten path with a 30 minute ride from the highway on gravel roads, but the beautiful sunrises and sunsets along with the peace and quiet make the ride well worth it. All the folks on the lake are wonderful and eager to help with recomending a restaurant or the best bait to use. Just down the road is a great little roadhouse, Bear Chasers. They have great food and drinks. You can get just about anything there. You can gas up; have lunch; grab some bait and some ice for your cooler. Even if the weather isn't cooperating, the cabin has a pool table, pub darts and plenty of room to spread out. The owners have thought of everything. If you forgot it; they probably have an extra one in the cabin. We had a great time fishing and relaxing but don't tell anybody!
