Chez Michel - Le Bouex, Poitou-Charentes, France Vacation Le Bouex is a tiny hamlet in the Vienne region of the French countryside, 40 minutes from Poitier and within easy reach of the Loire region and the Brenne national park, as well as historic cities like Chartres and Limoges. You can go on day trips to the coast at La Rochelle, or just wander through rural France, enjoying the slower pace of life. The Vienne is in central France - much further south than England and enjoying beautiful springs and autumns, as well as hot summers. The barn (Chez Michel) has been tastefully converted to retain traditional features, whilst offering comfortable accommodation for eight people (two doubles, two twins). It has a large private garden with splash pool and use of the atelier - a farm building with indoor space for table tennis. It also has full central heating.
