Welcome to Waipouli Beach Resort! This brand-new, five-star resort is like no other on the beautiful island of Kauai. It is ideally located in Waipouli, in between the historical towns of Wailua and Kapaa which makes travel to the South Shore (Poipu) and the North Shore (Princeville and Hanalei) quite convenient.
This third-floor, two-bedroom, three-bathroom condominium boasts an a mountain view of Sleeping Giant, a landmark in Kauai. During the rainy season, you will be able to see a few waterfalls from the scenic mountains across the street. Sometimes during the late afternoon you can catch a peek of kite surfers flying over the waves of Waipouli Beach.
Waipouli Beach Resort was recently awarded the "Parade of Homes Award of Excellence for 2006." Besides a 300,000-gallon saline pool with two water slides, sandy-bottomed whirlpool tubs, and a sandy-bottomed children's pool, the condominium resort will offer a 5000-square-foot Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Spa, set to open next year complete with massage huts in a tropical garden. Prior to its full scale opening early next year, Aveda will offer in-room massages beginning mid-December. The resort will also house a fitness center for those of you who want to get in your morning work-out prior to your day's adventure.
Our unit features 1312 square feet of luxury with Indonesian hardwood base mouldings, Peruvian travertine floors, with SubZero and Wolf appliances. We offer central air conditioning with a built-in humidifier as well as a full-sized stacked washer and dryer.
Within the master suite is a California King-sized bed. There is a flat-screen TV, private lanai, and gorgeous master bathroom featuring a sunken tub and private shower. The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed with an attached bathroom that will not disappoint. It has a full-sized sunken tub with a full-sized separate shower and louvered shutters that open into the bedroom. Also in the second bedroom is a flat-screen TV. The DSL line is located in this bedroom and we have included a desk where you can plug in your laptop computer to access the DSL line.
The glass doors open up onto a full-sized patio with a dining table that seats six. Enjoy a lovely relaxing dinner on your own private lanai!
The living room has a queen-sized sleeper sofa that sleeps two comfortably as well as a 32-inch, flat-screen TV with seating for six. There is a dining room table and yet, another glass door onto the third lanai. Windows abound in this fabulous unit!
The closet in the master bedroom offers a change of linens as well as pool towels.
Across the street is the Kauai Village Shopping Center Marketplace which houses a Safeway, Long's Drugs, Starbucks, Cold Stone Creamery, numerous restaurants, and even a small organic market/eatery called Papaya's Cafe for those health conscious guests. Just on the other side of the Kauai Village Shopping Center is the Waipouli Shopping Center which houses a Fun Factory, Coffee Bean, and Tea Leaf as well as a Pizza Hut, McDonald's, and Foodland Market. About a mile down the street is the Coconut Marketplace which boasts many wonderful restaurants, excellent shopping, and a movie theater.
Check out historic Kapaa town with many eclectic shops and wonderful restaurants. For those health conscious, eating lunch or dinner at The Mermaid is a must. It is a very small restaurant with outdoor seating, but the menu offers a full array of organic items from salads to wraps and well worth the stop. Many of the items on their menu is island grown. There is also a great variety of restaurants from Mexican to Italian to American cuisine to satisfy all appetites.
