Our home is a great value! This is a wonderful vacation home, the perfect place for you to kick back and enjoy Cape Cod! We believe we have thought of everything you will need to have a perfectly relaxing and memorable vacation!
Our home is available for Friday to Friday rentals in season, and any 2 night minimum off season.
The house is exactly one mile to Menahuant Beach, a town owned, lifeguarded beach that overlooks Martha's Vineyard - a great beach for vacationers! The house is also 1/2 mile (in the other direction) to a general store, pizza/sub place, and package store - no need to drive anywhere!
Some of the features of the house include the beautiful new kitchen, it was put in April 2006. See the photo of the kitchen - the cabinets are white bead board, the counter Cape Cod blue, you truly feel like you are away from it all. It opens up to the livingroom, with new furniture (purchased April 2007), and recently redone hardwood floors (April 2008).
One of the bedrooms has Air Conditioning (window unit, BR5, the one with a queen bed & also a twin bed).
Also, from mid June to mid September, there is a WiFi connection at the house, so bring your laptop!
The mostly finished basement is great for kids or those who are kids at heart. It has a great gameroom, with a foosball table & ping pong table, as well as a couple of couches, and another TV with cable (the first one being in the livingroom). The gameroom is great for children of all ages, especially at night, or during the occasional rainy day. One suggestion to enjoying your stay is let the kids play downstairs while the adults enjoy the main floor!
There is a generous selection of fun summer books, please feel free to read & enjoy. The gas grill is new at the start of the '06 season - perfect for cooking under the stars! You can then enjoy your meal either outside or inside. If you choose to eat or play outside, you will enjoy the privacy and size of the backyard.
We believe that within reason, we have provided for your every need. We hope you think so as well.
Hardwood floors, tile and berber carpet make up the flooring throughout. Close by (short drive) are three ferries to Martha's Vineyard, several 18 hole golf courses, many other town beaches, outlet shopping, Woods Hole, and more!
Parking passes for the town beaches are available from the town, we can help you arrange for these.

Close by are BOTH downtown Falmouth (one of the best Main Streets in New England, in my opinion) and Mashpee Commons, an outdoor shopping/dining area that is wonderful.

Why the Owner Chose Falmouth
I bought this house because I sensed its value. It is a great location - one mile to a great public beach, and 1/2 mile to a restaurant, stores etc, but also for the size of the house. With 5 bedrooms, it has plenty of room for a large family or two smaller families. I have put a lot into the house since I bought it in 2000, and am happy that I did!

Dennis bought this house in 2000. He enjoys traveling, boating, playing basketball and lacrosse, long distance biking, competing in triathlons & spending time with his family and friends.
Dennis is Vice-Chair of the Falmouth Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Chairman of JazzFest Falmouth, a regional Jazz Festival in Falmouth. He is a board member of Arts Falmouth, and also serves on the Government Affairs Committee of both the Cape Cod & Islands Board of Realtors, and the State Board of Realtors.
A 1992 graduate of Harvard University, Dennis owns 5 vacation rentals in Falmouth, and manages about 300 more through his company Donahue Real Estate on Main St in Falmouth.
