This was my second stay at Ryan's Island Paradise, and it was just as good this year as last. The location is great, and the condo is clean and comfortable, exactly as advertised. I have recommended this property to friends and relatives.

We had a very nice stay in Jan 2012. Enjoyed Maui adventures and fun. The condo location was great - just across the road from the beach, Charly Young Beach, lovely! Can also walk to grocery store, restaurants, coffee shop, stores, bars.... the "triangle" was close by, and we enjoyed Three's Bar and Grill especially! Great 1/2 price appetizer happy hour! Only drawback was being close to the road (which also means being closer to the beach, so it is good, too!)... the Lanai was a bit noisy. But really, the good outweighed that for sure. Nice condo, stocked with coolers, boogie boards, beach chairs, we didn't have to worry about any of that. Would stay here again! (Hope I get back to Maui to enjoy it again!)

This was a wonderful place to stay for me and my family (we are three), so wonderful, we are coming back again to stay this year. The location is perfect, it's the first condo on the ground floor in building one, which means easy access to everything - the beach, the shops, and all of the amenities Maui Vista has to offer. When we went, we had our friends and family staying in 3 other different units, this unit in comparison was the nicest,and was the best stocked for everything you need in the kitchen to everything you need to take with you to the beach. The complex is well maintained and we felt very safe and secure. If you are looking for a nice, clean, safe, well stocked place to stay in Maui that is reasonably priced, this is it.

Wow..this was a super location just across the road from the ocean. All our friends & family were staying at the Maui VIsta also. Perfect setting. I saw the biggest turtle snorkeling right ont he beach in front. Nice comfrotable condo.

We really enjoyed our stay here and thanks for all the extras-coolers, beach chairs, towels etc. First time we stayed in Maui for longer than a week and it was really nice. We enjoyed the warm weather, went to Hana, the Aquarium, Lahina & enjoyed many beautiful sunsets. It was so nice to slow down and enjoy all the beauty around us. Thanks so much.

Your Location is ideal across from Charlie Young Beach. Evenings were spent on the beach watching the sunsets. We enjoyed the ocean swims and the fact we were able to walk to Foodland and explore all three beaches. Outrigger canoe with the Kihei Canoe Club was an experience we will not soon forget. Thank you for sharing your paradisse.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo! Loved being on the ground floor and in building one. We really appreciated how well equipped this unit was - the owners have thought of everything! Just pack your personal belongings and you are good to go! The complex is in a great location in Kihei - good "Lava Java" shop a short stroll up the street as well as several good eating establishments. Would recommend this unit to everyone!

Wow, what a great location. You can walk to everything from here whether it's a beach, shops restaurant's or groceries from here. You could stay here without a car, but why would you when there's so much to see on the island? The parking is free. Charley young/Kamoale 1 beach are a 2 minute from the door and Cove beach is 5 minutes and great for beginner surfing/paddleboarding. This unit is nicely updated and has a large lanai although traffic noise is a little much at times. The bedroom is very quiet though. Pool is close and so is the Bbq area which had very clean bbq's.

My mother and brother in-law stayed in this condo when we came to Maui to get married, and they really enjoyed their stay here, the condo was nicely decorated and came with so many extras - my brother in-law particularly enjoyed the boogie-board! The bathroom was also one of the nicest weve seen in the Maui vista. Was also useful being on the ground floor.

Perfection in Paradise

Jim and Kim Your condo was wonderful. This was our second trip to your home in paradise, and would recommend it to anyone! Your place is close to everything you could want. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, shopping and of course the beach, everything is within walking distance, and the on-site grilling was perfect for sunset dinners on the lanai. Just a stone’s throw from the most beautiful ocean in the world, and a short drive from our favorite spot, Big Beach, your location is perfect. This trip we brought our young children, and let us assure you that there was room for all four of us to enjoy our stay. For young kids still getting used to the ocean and the saltwater, the pools on the property were exactly what we needed for the kids to get a break from the ocean. We walked into a beautiful condo that was spotless, and we were in awe of the remodeled bathroom, and updated kitchen. The pictures dont do it justice, they are the perfect touches for the perfect place. We will be enjoying your condo for years to come as I can assure you we will return again. Many thanks to the Ryans for providing such a clean and comfortable condo. It had everything we needed for our stay. We prepared most of our meals at home, and the washer/dryer in the unit was very convenient for keeping the beach towels clean. It’s a 2-minute walk to a great beach, and there are shops, restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. We highly recommend this condo for anybody looking for a home away from home in Maui.

We really enjoyed our time in Maui—this was a first time visit to Maui for both of us and we weren’t disappointed. Your condo is in such a great location; easy to find at night, close to the highway for easy access to the rest of the island, and within comfortable walking distance to 'downtown' area of Kihei/beaches/many restaurants. We took you up on your suggestions for breakfast at Kihei Café and snorkeling trip through Boss Frogs and both were great. We enjoyed the afternoon sun on the Lanai on an especially windy day at the beach and felt like we took good advantage of our location close to amazing beaches. All around we had an awesome trip; we hiked, went zip-lining, shopped and ate in Pa’aia, attending a wedding on a beach near Wilea and did the Old Lahina Luau. Really appreciated that the unit was stocked with beach towels and chairs and movies for a lazy night in. Also, I’ve been really happy with how well VRBO worked out and the ease of email communication with the Ryans. Definitely recommend this unit, especially because of its great location!

I am sorry to be so long in writing to you. I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful, relaxing holiday in Maui and your condo was just perfect for us. It was great being on the ground floor and having the lanai to sit out on. Your condo is well outfitted and we really appreciated the WiFi and the cable and also the fans. Tomorrow we leave Maui and the cozy condo which has been our home for the last several days. I love your taste in decorating..like others after our long days of adventure it was nice to return here when the sun was going down. We began almost every day at Charlie Young Beach and tried to watch the gorgeous and varied sunsets each night. We drove all the way around the island, snorkeled, saw three turtles at least..it was amazing. Mahalo for everything. Hope to come back again. Great location.

9/7/10 We had a great time at the condo. From BBQ dinners on the lanai to sitting in the chairs at the beach, this place had everthing to make our stay comfortable. We also had not planned on doing the road to Hana, but with the CD, decided to take the journey and had the BEST time hiking and exploring. If you love to snorkel (like us) check out the Pacific Whale Foundation all day trip to Molokini and Lanai. Great fish, turtles and even dolphins. Can't wait to come back next year. Thanks so much for offering your condo-we loved it! The location was very convenient and had everything we could need. We walked to the grocery store and several nice bars and grilled out almost every night. We spent every sunset on Charley Young beach except one, which we spent at the Old Lahaina Luau, which we highly recommend. Our favorite little snorkel spot was Ahihi Bay near the end of Makena Rd. It was like swimming in a tropical fish tank! Kihei Cafe is a great breakfast spot, Lava Java serves a good cup, and Lulu's for happy hour are all just a short walk to the north. We'll definitely return.

April 11-19, 2010 Thank you so much for letting us stay at your condo! The place is great! We absolutely loved Maui and can't wait to come back. Our favorite day was spent hiking the Sliding Sands Trail at Haleakala National Park- our legs were certainly tired after that day long hike, but what a beauty! We also really enjoyed the Mai Tai's & "catch of the Day" at the PuPu Lounge & breakfast at Kihei Cafe. Big Beach had some good waves to "play" in and we saw a sea turtle there as well snorkeling. Jim & Kim, I came to Maui for my son and daughter-in-law wedding on the beach. My first impression of your condo was very impressive. The couple you have taking care of your condo do a very good job. We had a great stay in room 1118 and an even better vacation! It started with a romantic marriage proposal on the beach at sunst. VERY ROMANTIC.... We went snorkeling on the Maui Magic and saw giant sea turtles. Lahaina was great. Ate too much at Bubba Gumps and toured around the banyon tree. Lampperts icecream is also a must! We loved the beaches. Big beach and Charlie Young were our favoirites! We were supposed to go ziplining but it was too windy so we went to Paia and to the tropical plantation. We loved Moose MGillycuddy's for dinner as it over looks the ocean. This condo had evrything we needed and more. March 4-March 19, 2010 WE had a wonderful stay in Maui.Weather was 80-85 every day. Condo was great. We purchased a cooler & left in closet for future guests as there was not one when we arrived. We did not care for the hide-a-bed as it was quite uncomfortable for 2 adults (2 kids got the bedroom) but other than that the condo was clean and well equipped. Aloha Kim! We enjoyed very very much your condo during these so great holidays. Your place is absolutely well located to visit this wonderful island and to enjoy the fabulous beaches all around. I was so impressed how nice your condo was - and at such a budget price! We had everything we needed and wanted; being able to cook meals as frequently as we wanted (and the beautiful clean grills outside) and do laundry as needed was a HUGE PLUS! Tons of clean towels, linens, and beach goodies were much appreciated. The condo is very roomy, A/C always cool and quiet, bed is comfy. We never found noise to be an issue, even though being close to people and road traffic. We LOVED your place and it would recommend it to anyone going to Maui. Many thanks!!

I just wanted to say thank you for renting your Maui Vista condo to us from 6/30-7/9. We had such a wonderful time there. The location was absolutely amazing - we loved relaxing at Charley Young beach and having so many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. The unit was very quiet, clean, comfortable and relaxing - just what we wanted. We recently (June 2008) stayed at this property and were very pleased with and would recommend it to anyone looking for a rental unit in Maui. The unit is comfortable, is in great shape and the decor is very pleasing. While it is in building one, which is generally the noisiest building due to the street traffic, we did not find it that noticable. As well Kim has had special windows installed that signifcantly reduce the noise when all doors and windows are closed. My wife liked the fact that after a day at the beach we did not have to walk the long distance to building three. And while the lanai faces southwest, there was plenty of shade to relax in during the hot afternoons if you needed or wanted to be out of the sun. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to rent the unit again.

Dear Jim & Kim, Your condo is absolutely perfect! We had such a great time here in Maui. We come about 4 times a year and always stay at Maui Vista. Your condo by far is one of the best. It was also so nice to meet Rick & Vicky out by the pool. They made sure we were taken care of while here. We will absolutely stay again. For all that will stay after, make sure you don't miss out on the $1.00 Mai Tais at Life's a Beach. For the best dinner on the island Mama's Fish House is a must (Paia). Your condo really made my vacation - it was centrally located and so well equipped! We were thrilled to discover not only beach towels, but also beach chairs, mats, and boogie boards as well. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.
