As you enter the Nalu Kai Lodge bamboo fenced courtyard you are greeted by palms and papaya trees swaying above the tiki bar and barbecue area surrounded by comfy lounge chairs and a serene lush topical setting. The soothing sounds of the waterfall pond let you know you’ve arrived! You may hear other guests talking about their day from up on the ocean view deck or others relaxing in the shaded lanai area down below.
There are eight individual bright and colorful rooms and one fully equipped large one- bedroom apartment, each room is tastefully decorated and complete with in-suite bathroom with custom tile work, mini-fridge, radio/cd player, closet, ceiling fan and complimentary wireless internet. It’s simple, super clean, and cozy! Your charming room awaits you with fresh flowers and a sampling of macadamia nuts upon your bed. Park your car, put your bags down, relax, walk two-minutes to the beach and enjoy!
Paia Bay Beach Park is around the corner. Paia’s restaurants and shops are just beyond the courtyard and Ho’okipa Beach Park is a short three-minute drive. The North Shore of Maui is intoxicatingly laid back- you won’t want to leave!

The North Shore, stretching from Kanaha Beach Park to Hana includes the areas of Spreckelsville, Paia and Kuau. It is ideal for the traveler who is looking for something unique and low-key. There are no high-rise condos or hotels on the North Shore. But there are gentle trade winds, world-class surf, sandy beaches, and quaint villages that haven’t lost their low-key Hawaiian charm.
