This cabin worked well for our Yellowstone adventure. When we would get home in the late afternoon evening after a long day of driving the grass in the yard was great for the kids to run and play in. Great setting, good location, and easy access. We loved it. We hadn't been there 10 minutes when my wife said, " I love this cabin".Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

The cabin was perfect for 2 families with 4 children. The large grass area was perfect for the kids to play while we sat on the porch and relaxed. We walked across the street to fish the Henry's Fork a few times as well and had dinner at the Trout Hunter. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We will be booking again next summer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

I would recommend this property to anyone, the cabin is in a great central location minutes from everything in the Island Park area. We rafted the South Fork of the Henry River and the last chance take out is right across the street. There was parking for the 5 cars we took and could have handled more. The kitchen was large enough for our whole group large table that can seat 14 and everything worked stove , oven, fridge, dishwasher, disposal ect. The pantry and storage space was right in the kitchen and they had pots, pans, utensils, & dishes ( all in good shape). If you have kids the yard is great with a large grass area and room to play. Trees for shade morning noon and night. Two bathrooms both in good condition, clean and well stocked. We fished rivers and lakes, hiked, rafted, and had a great time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We enjoyed our stay at Grandpa's Cabin. The interior of the cabin was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with necessary appliances, etc. One negative was the lack of internet access available. Driveway and yard looked a bit neglected...grass was long which made being outside unappealing. Still, overall a good experience.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers.

The cabin couldn't of been more perfect. It had everything you could possible need. We spent 4 days and 3 nights there for Memorial day weekend. The weather was horrible, but since the cabin was so well equiped it didn't even matter. We had 3 couples and 1 baby, and never did get cabin fever. The cabin has sat tv, and a DVD player, so since we took a bunch of movies with us it worked out wonderfully. The beds are comfortable, plenty of extra quilts, pillows, and towels. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could want to cook with. We talked about coming back later in the year on the way home. So affordable, great owners, and perfect location. Couldn't of asked for a more fantastic weekend. Rent it, you won't regret it! John, Mandi, Bri, Jenn, Cassie, and Jon.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: If we could only control the weather. We strive hard to meet your expectations and are glad that you had a great time. We look forward to having you return-hope it will be soon.

We found everything to be very nice. We liked it much better than getting hotel rooms. We were able to take full advantage of the full size kitchen. Yellowstone was lots of fun, at one time we were surrounded by buffalo! Rafting was tons of fun and it was warm enough too.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
