The Bungalos are one of the newer additions to the Baytowne neighborhood of the Sandestin Resort which is an exclusive, gated family beach resort in Miramar Beach / Destin FL. Extensive landscaping with lush flowers, trees and Florida cottage style architecture sets the tone for the Bungalos with quaint Key West appeal such as a furnished, screened in Lanai, high ceilings & doorways, Travertine limestone floors w/ designer area rugs, a custom kitchen with granite counter tops, fully furnished and lavishly decorated throughout. It includes a beautiful king master suite complete w/walk-in closet and shower. It also includes a queen guest room and a twin guest room as well as a queen sofa sleeper. This beautiful Bungalo also has a large screen Cable TV with a DVD home theater, AM & FM Stereo system. This home features a television in every bedroom! The Bungalos are very family-friendly and you have the added benefit of knowing the resort offers 24 hour Sandestin Security personnel. Our Bungalo is close to the pool with dressing room, restrooms, lounge chairs, extra guest parking and a putting green.
The Emerald Coast is known for the clear blue-green waters along the nearly pure white sand beaches, and occasionally there is even a live band right at the beach. It is just a very short drive with ample parking to the resort's beautiful beaches, marina, golfing or the Village at Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard. Close to Jolee (Pirate) Island (children's playground) as well as loads of dining and shopping choices including a beautiful new shopping center. We are proud to announce there have been several new family entertainment venues from zip Lines, a carousel, exhibits, and open air entertainment in the resort. There is a lighted pedestrian bike tunnel under the highway so guests have total access to both the bay and beachside of the resort as well as miles of running and biking trails. Be sure to stroll the marina in the Village at Baytowne to see the fabulous ocean going yachts! Special parking spaces are available for those who drive golf carts. My husband and I and our 2 1/2 lb. Yorkshire Terrier, Honey, were fortunate enough to be able to rent Bungalo 2492 for a short family getaway last week. We have been coming to Destin for probably 20 years, but never have we enjoyed a place more. We felt as if we were at home. The decor is absolutely beautiful and everything is immaculate. I am very skeptical of renting a "pet friendly" home even though we have Honey out of fear the home may not be as clean and well kept as we keep our own home. That definately was not the case here. If this home is available we will always stay here when we come down to Destin. Thank you so very much for allowing us to rent your home.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.
