Affordable Summit County Colorado Vacation Rental Home
Year Purchased: 1995
Why the Owner Chose Mesa Cortina
We purchased our lot in Mesa Cortina in 1994. The location is ideal with it's central location in the County, but almost more important is it's easy access to the National Forest. This is our 3rd vacation rental home Jeff has built and designed so he has a great understanding of what is important to our guests. We designed the home with an open floor plan, large kitchen & dining room, comfortable and living room and wonderful outdoor living spaces. The Buffalo Mountain Trailhead is minutes from the front porch.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Since we are close to the National Forest our guests have the chance to see and abundance of wildlife. The most impressive animal to be seen in the area are the moose. Don't be surprised if you see them in the front year or walking down the street. Make sure you check out our photos. The moose were steps from our decks.

Sherri moved from PA at the age of 19 to go to school and to be close to the mountains. In our spare time we like to travel, white water raft, bike tour, ski and backpack.

This home is well maintained with excellent views of the Mountains and Lake Dillon. Our six family members staying here this fall loved it. Hikers could access a trail without driving anywhere. Book lovers could read on the wrap around deck or even in the hot tub. Easy to get to other trails and nearby towns. We really liked the Arapaho Cafe in Dillon and even went to a play at the Dillon Theatre! Sherri is a great homeowner checking in to see how things are going while you're there. This was a beautiful house in a great location. It's close to all the amenities (shopping, activities, hiking trails) but tucked away with lots of privacy. Loved being up away from town a bit--we saw a moose from the deck one evening! The house was very clean and well maintained and was exactly as pictured. It was perfect for our group of 10--plenty of big open spaces so we could all be together, but we could also have our own space. Sheri was very helpful and friendly, called to check if we needed anything. The house was well stocked with linens, dishes, etc. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

An amazing house! You got everything that you need in there! Sorry it take me 3 years to write a review but... better later than never... ;) I even receive a Christmas Card from the owners 8 months later. They are very friendly people. Thank you! We are definitely coming back one day!

We loved this home. It was spacious and cozy all in one. The views were amazing and it was a wonderful way to start the summer. We felt so at home and had so many amenities available to us. The beds were comfy, the kitchen a dream, the deck and the sunshine were unsurpassed, the hot tub and the game tables gave added night time fun. Also enjoyed the walks in the area as well as the Moose that we saw right next to our deck. This is a great home and you would really miss out if you passed this opportunity up.
