Nineyrol offers luxury accommodation in the heart of the Dordogne valley, just minutes from the mediaeval town of Sarlat and the beautiful villages of La Roque Gageac and Beynac. This elegant old Maison de Maître, with its piano nobile, provides a cool haven during those long, hot summer days. Tall shuttered windows bathe each room with light and provide breathtaking south-facing views. The parking is private and shaded.

The spacious sitting room has French doors to the covered dining area and the terrace, south- facing views across the Dordogne valley, comfortable upholstered furniture, TV, DVD, and a wood-burning stove for those cooler evenings in the early spring and late autumn. (logs included). Wireless ADSL included

5 comfortable en suite bedrooms, individually furnished in country house style and contain a mixture of English and French antiques. Three of the rooms have stunning south-facing views across the verdant Dordogne valley.

Outside, the top terrace is easily accessed from the kitchen and sitting room and contains both dining furniture and a barbeque, making this the perfect place to stargaze on those balmy summer evenings. An ancient vine-edged staircase leads you down to the exclusive swimming pool, set in a sunny terrace, flanked by fragrant flower beds, lawns and vines, with unique panoramic vistas over the Valley of the Five Châteaux.

Please note the garden terraces are linked by a number of stone staircases and are finished by low walls installed when the house was built in 1860. This gives us the feeling that it really is not the place for very young children, but it is at your discretion.
