Restored fully during 2005 to retain its old-world charm, the residence features exposed beams, plaster walls, Velux windows and skylights, hand-made terra cotta floors, and hand-painted ceramic tile.
The residence is situated in one of the liveliest districts in Paris... tres chic! Yet when inside the residence, the street noise is inaudible.
The residence sleeps six comfortably. No lines for the toilet here as the toilet and shower are in separate rooms each complete with mirror and it's own sink.

We are very pleased with this unit and with the personal attention we received from the owner, who speaks English and is very helpful. The apartment has lots of old-world charms and feels very Parisian, including the 90 steps mentioned in the website (and no elevator). Good exercise every time! The owner has ties to Andalucia, and this is reflected in the decor. Plenty of natural lighting especially with the Velux skylights. Fully equipped with Miele dishwasher and washer/dryer which the owner explains to us in detail on how to use them and provided us with all the necessities. There is TV with lots of channels including English (not that we need one while on vacation), good WiFi connection and phone line with free dials to the US! The view of the Beaubourg's rooftop welcoming us every morning is icing on the cake. Certainly a very good choice in the Marais district for 4-6 people not concerned with sharing one bathroom (there is a separate toilet). The third bed is in the alcove inside the larger bedrooom, so there is no privacy for the 4 people sharing this together, but the living area is spacious enough to convert to a 3rd bedroom given the sofa bed. Perfect location, beautiful building and very close to metro. Very large apartment. Pictures accurate. No street noise. Only thing to note is the 95 stairs with no lift. Would stay again.
