Casita Desero borders the neighborhood of the newly developed Railyard district, just blocks from the historic Santa Fe Plaza and within easy walking distance to Canyon Road, the state Capitol, restaurants, theater, shopping and more.
We are located in the historic South capitol area, two blocks from the newly developed Railyard area This newly developed area includes a beautiful new park and the nationally acclaimed Farmers Market.
It is also where you can catch the new, Railrunner, commuter train to Albuquerque.
Or for a fun and different day you can catch the train to Lamy N.M. about 20 miles southeast of town. You can ride in the old elegant passenger cars or stand outside on the cattle car and enjoy the exquisite countryside vistas Don't miss the Flintstone house carved into the rock. Lunch at the Lamy station and back home.
Comfortable leather furniture in living room,as well as a writing desk, in a sunny window. Flat screen LCD/DVD TV, Wi-Fi, I pod dock, and Teac stereo.This casita has beautiful hardwood floors.
Bedroom with Kingsize pillowtop bed, cushy pillows, cotton sheets and duvets, down comforters add to the luxury. Large closet with dresser and oo lala, fluffy robes and beach towels for the hot tub!

The private patio off the livingroom is on the Acequia, or large ancient, hand dug ditch, which adds to the delightful secret garden feeling.

Santa Fe enjoys the safety of isolation. Most can easily drive here, avoiding the airport experience completely. Or fly into Albuquerque. and rent a car. Or grab the shuttle from the airport, which will drop you at Hotel Santa Fe and block and half away from the casitas.
At 7000' elevation Santa Fe enjoys perfect summer weather. Dry, with the occasional monsoon downpour, clearing to a beautiful evening and beautiful sunsets. Smog free air and the bluest sky one can imagine.
Policies: 1. Deposits: 50% at booking. 50% 45 days before arrival - holidays/events 90 days. 2. Check-in 4pm. Check-out 11am. Late check-out = 1/2 day rental. 3. Your Confirmation, Key Code & Directions are attached to your email "Reservation Confirmation" upon booking. 4. No smoking inside unit. Violation fees up to $500. 5. Cancellation: No refunds within 45 or 90 (holiday/event) days before arrival. (Unless re-rented) Fee 25%. 6. Pets: Dogs allowed in 'Pet Friendly' units $15/nt. 7. We have the right to move you if necessary to a comparable or upgraded unit.

Nadine, a former psycho-therapist, and Linda a retired hairdresser have teamed up to pursue this new adventure into quaint, one of a kind type of short term rentals.
Both women have strong business backgrounds as well as keen eyes to the artistic environment of Santa Fe.
When given the opportunity to own this property in downtown Santa Fe it was a dream come true.
