This home was fantastic for us as we had 6 couples and we all wanted to have nice bedrooms. This house and the quest cottage and surrounding grounds were just what we were looking for for. Each bedroom was large , luxurious and private. We spent the first 2 days just hanging out at the house. We were out to lunch but mainly cooked in the kitchen for Dinner and had faboulous meals. We could eat in the fully appointed dining area in or the patio was enough seating for our large group as well. The view from the house was awesome. We rented a boat and circled the whole island of St John and could find our spot easily. The water was a little rough in Feb though, so be careful. We had a tour with a lady that took us, kayaking, snorkeling and a hike over at East End and that was the best day of all, her name was Jennifer but I forget which agency we booked with. Dont miss the burgers at Crazy Legs( out near east end), shopping at Bamboo(n downtown) and Mongoose Village , both have great shops. I always find some unique things in St John. We did have a leak and the power went off once but the service people were right on it, so it was a great experience. We loved our home away from home. Thanks for sharing your home.

We chose Villa St. John because it was perfect for our destination wedding and large enough for our family to stay with us. Everyone enjoyed their stay and the amenities the house had to offer. We liked how all the bedrooms were identical so everyone felt that their room was "the best"! The location is close to downtown but far enough away so you don't hear anything. The patio in the morning overlooking the bay was so peaceful. In a short 5-10 minute car ride you are at the most beautiful beaches. The Management Company in Virginia and on the Island were great to work with and very friendly. They meet us at the ferry and brought us to the villa and walked us around the property providing us with everything we would need to know. They also provide a 24 hour contact number in case we needed anything. The villa is a perfect location for a wedding. We got married under the gazebo by the pool and had our recption upstairs on the patio. It was amazing!

This Villa is our favorite on St. John! We have been lucky enough to have stayed there many times, with our entire family and grandchildren and often just the two of us. Fully air conditioned (which is a must for us) and it has exceptionally large and confortable bedrooms. This Villa is situated high enough to have a nice breeze but has easy stair access right down to Chocolate Hole which we think has some of the best and most interesting snorkeling on the island. Great water views from everywhere with nothing in between but most important for us is to be able to walk down to the beach and snorkel without having to get in the car. We love this Villa and plan to return as often as we can.

The home is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The landscaping is lovely and well-kept. The linens are luxurious. The kitchen is stocked for cooking. The floor plan is convenient and well thought-out. We had over a dozen people in our party and not once did we feel crowded. There was plenty of parking available for all of our rental cars. The pool is huge and sparkling clean. The villa is conveniently located to the shops, restaurants and bars in Cruz Bay as well as to several beautiful beaches. It is a short walk down to the sand and water of Chocolate Hole. But the home is so beautiful that we never wanted to leave. Making the reservation was easy. The staff was polite and attentive. We able to arrange to have groceries delivered to the villa before we arrived. I cannot recommend Villa St John enough. It was the perfect backdrop for a vacation of a lifetime. I am just counting the days until we can come back.

My wife and I recently enjoyed 7 nights at Villa St John with family and friends. Being Weat Coasters, it was a bit of a novelty. We usually vacation in Europe or Hawaii, but both agree it was one of the best trips we have ever taken. The Villa and its location are 5 star all the way! The Villa was meticulously clean and each bedroom had its own deck with spectacular water views. My wife loved how each of the bedrooms had its own whirlpool tub and ocean view showers. We shared some fabulous "Big Chill" style family dinners in the large, comfortable, extremely well equipped kitchen. The pool and deck were spotless and inviting. It was a great place to hang out and Bar-B-Que over the Bay. The waterfront location is private yet convenient. We walked to the Westin Resort for breakfast and once walked into the town of Cruz Bay.The walk is not for everyone but if you enjoy a good jaunt in the morning its fantastic. A car is a must. We found that Budget at St Thomas Airport ( I forget its actual name ) was the best. Be careful, not all rental agencies allow their cars off St Thomas. The car was right at the airport and once on the road it was just 15 minutes to a small car ferry to St John. The Villa is a short 5 minutes from the ferry landing. The beaches are incredible and the snorkeling breathtaking. There are lots of unique little restaurants and shops and also a well stocked grocery, liquor and wine store. One of the great attractions of St John is its non-commercial ambience. Thats not to say that there are not some major party bars! Lots of fun!!! But the limited development, the huge National Park and the rural feeling gives St John in many ways a trip into the past with the accomodations of the future. Being in the hottub at Villa St John with a Black Strap Rum in hand enjoying the moon lite bay at Chocolate Hole ------ Heaven on Earth

My family and I love St John and love staying at Villa St John. This villa has been perfect for our annual family vacations. We have stayed at many different villas over the years and have decided that we want to book this villa for every trip. Villa St John is spacious and tastefully decorated. The bedrooms are huge and offer plenty of privacy. No matter what room you are in there are great views, more than pictures can show. The guest villa offers a second full kitchen which helps when cooking for a large group. This place is heaven on earth and we can't wait for our return.

We stayed there with a large group and loved everything about the villa. The kitchen is a gourmet cooks dream...room for three or four people to cook at once. The pool gets southern sun so we enjoyed jumping in the pool after a long day at the beaches. I can't say enough about the size of the bedrooms, you could spend the day in your room and not feel like you missed anything! They have a backup generator that runs the whole house, when the power went out, we called the maintenance man and within an hour we had electricity again..

Our stay at Villa St John was good. The property has fantastic views of Chocolate hole although the beach there is really not very good. The home was clean and spacious - each bedroom was large and had its own private bath. I would recommend this property to couples that are traveling together and want to get away. The owner representatives were very helpful and responsive.

This property was beyond our expectations. It was PERFECT! Though the house was convenient to town, it was extremely private. We enjoyed walking to the water and kayaking. The caretakers were attentive without being intrusive. They arranged for rental cars, private boat tours and local restaurants. No request was too difficult. Their assistance was invaluable. The house was well equipped with appliances and technology. Each bedroom was a mini suite with a lot of space and luxurious bathrooms. The views were beyond compare. I cannot say enough about this house. It was our best family vacation to date. Hopefully we will be able to visit again soon. You will not be disappointed with this property.

Villa St John is a luxurious, yet comfortable resort with great view, beach access (down stairs) and a large pool with hot tub. The location is close to hotel resorts and the town, easy to get to yet far enough away to have that secluded feeling. It is well-maintained and well furnished. The listing description was completely accurate. We stayed there twice and will certainly go back!

We took our children and grandchildren -- and could not have chosen a more perfect location. The facilities were spectacular, the water better than anyplace else in the world, simply extraordinary in every way.
