Absolutely Wonderful Home to spend a vacation

Wow, what a find! This home is the best rental I have ever encountered! It was totally and fully equiped with everything one would want. I usually travel to rentals with supplies like paper towels, coffee filters, dish detergent, washer detergent, dish towels, kleenex, etc. NONE of this was necessary as EVERYTHING was already there for use in this home. The neighborhood was quiet, my pets loved looking out of the floor length windows (just like home) and walking in the neighborhood. TV's were great, beds very comfy, porch a nice sitting area, etc. The one other attraction was the vast array of wonderful restaurants in the area! I downloaded an article that described the "50 Best Restaurants in Hilton Head" - and then suggested the "Top 10" - Well, we hit 5 of the Top Ten, and they were supurb! Heck, we only vacation once a year and do gourmet cooking at home, so this was a special treat....Loved the whole thing! Thanks bunches for a wonderful first visit to Hilton Head...You get an A ++++!

This was the most well equipped rental home we have EVER rented! The house had everything we could have possibly wanted or needed. Our two bulldogs enjoyed the house as much as we did - total relaxation!! The house is beautiful, the heated pool was fantastic and the view of the golf course perfection. A short walk to the beach.... who could ask for anything more? (The hot water heater went up while we were there but a simple phone call to the owners and the unit was replaced promptly.) We hope to rent this property again in the future!!!!

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this lovely home for our vacation. Fred was very helpful...when we arrived we noticed the pool pump was not working. We called Fred and he had someone out the next day morning to fix it. The house backs up to the golf course which was fun to watch the golfers from the living room. We also locked ourself out of the house and Fred's emergency contact was there within 15 minutes to let us in!! Would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great rental in Hilton Head!

Just as last year, it always a great time on the Island. Weather was great and relaxation is the norm. Collage son missed out again this year on being here and golfing. Looking forward for next year. Location, quite surroundings and views what else can you not say are great things this place offers.

My wife and I spent the entire month of Jan. 011 at the Krinsky’s home. We had a great time the house fit our needs perfectly. Everything you need is there. It was clean, well organized with many updates. Open the living room or master BR curtains and you have a great view of the 2nd hole at Fazio golf course. Go outside on the deck and cook on the new Weber gas grill. Raining out, watch a movie on the 46in HD TV. The location in Palmetto Dunes is perfect, central to all activities and restaurants in HHI. Took many walks to the beach. Some days it was pretty cold but how often can you be on a world class beach virtually by yourself. Fred checked with us after we arrived to make sure everything met our needs. We messed up and blocked the sink disposal unit, contacted Fred, he was very understanding and had a plumber out immediately to fix the problem. One disadvantage of going in Jan. is many restaurants were closed. But there were still many to choose from. Alexander’s right inside Palmetto Dunes is a very good dinning experience. Take a short ride and go to the new Chart House restaurant, excellent food and great service. Overall it was an excellent relaxing vacation, a great value that will be hard to beat.

4 longtime friends on a girlfriend getaway, 2 from Ohio & 2 from WV. The amenities of the house were great, loved the pool, screened porch, washer/dryer and the layout of the house. We utilized all the bedrooms and the mattresses were comfortable. Nice area to walk in plus close enough to the beach to walk. Short walk to the kayak rentals. Kayaking was lots of fun, saw alot of wildlife plus beautiful homes along the way. Highly recommended. Took Boat to Savannah for a day, recommend this as well. Restaurants - Old Oyster Factory & Pazzo (which is very close to Palmetto Dunes) both very very good food. Can't wait to go back to Hilton Head and we'll certainly rent here again. House was clean. Landlord was receptive to our needs, very quick to respond to questions & concerns. House was as advertised, no surprises.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, sightseeing.

This house has it all from beach toys/chairs to spices! We didn't have to buy a thing which made our vacation that much better! The house is very spacious! It not only has a large deck that overlooks the golf course and pool but also an enormous screened in porch where we had many meals! The owners have set this house up right! They are very responsive and want to make your vacation one to remember! We will without a doubt rent this house again!

The house is fantastic, great location and quite. Pool at house was great after a hot day on the beach. We had such a wonderful time in this home! My parents came with us and our young children, and the home's floor plan accommodated us nicely. My husband and I, and our children had the upstairs bedrooms, and my parents had the master suite downstairs. The home had everything you would ever need... laundry detergent, variety of DVD's, Books, games, and even a first aid kit! Also, the pool was a wonderful plus, as well as the golf course view. In addition to the nice house, the owners were very considerate; as they tracked down an item for us that we forgot to pack. They even shipped at no cost! Thanks for a great experience! One wonderful week (8/29 to 9/5) in Hilton Head and having this beautiful fully equipped home to stay in made it even better. We took golf lessons, fished back country for Redfish and Tarpon, went canoeing, went to the beach, swam in the pool, shopped until they dropped, visited the art galleries in Bluffton and toured Rose Hill Mansion. We grilled out on the deck most evenings. Highly recommend REDFISH Resturant for dinner. The grilled scallops with the lobster macaroni was to die for...Hope to come back soon. Ariana, our 13 year old daughter and Chrissy, our three year old Shiz Tzu had a great time.

This house has a great open floor plan, we took are young children and were able to keep an eye on them! This house is so close to anything you may need/want; entertainment for young children, grocery shopping, dining out, and buying gifts (check out Camp Hilton Head in Shelter Cove for t-shirts & hats.) My husband enjoyed playing golf at the Fazio golf course, as well as watching other golfers while we ate dinner. The kitchen has all appliances, serving pieces and utensils so do not bother to take more with you like I did!! Also, the grocery store is about a 5 min drive away, so don't waste cargo room with lots of coolers filled with food!! We will be staying here again for sure.

We just spent a lovely week in your home. Everything that we could want or need was provided. Loved the screened porch and the view from the deck. Although we've been coming to Hilton Head for many years, this was our first time in Palmetto Dunes. It's such a lovely plantation. We had a great week in your house - it was one of the most comfortable homes we have rented in Hilton Head. The home was well stocked with many essentials. Our three year old son had lots of fun playing in the yard,watching the deer and exploring the house. It was a great spring break - we welcomed the warm weather and sunshine. We will most likely be renting again next spring break!

We had a wonderful and relaxing week at 8 Heath Dr. My husband and I and our one year old daughter; my brother and sister-in-law and their two children all spent the mornings by the pool, afternoons taking the short walk to the beach, then spent the evening hanging out in the screened in porch for a pictionary tournament. This was the perfect house for little ones, the pool was just the right size and very private and peacefull. Plus it was prime location to everything...shopping, bike rentals, minigolf, golf, parasailing, and the beach!!! We were very impressed with the house and it's location! We highly recommend staying here on your next visit to SC!

My husband and I took our son to Hilton Head for the first time and had a blast! The house is the perfect location to anything on the island and the resort is very quiet and has lots of activities. It really is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, right on the golf course and has a nice pool in the backyard. We will definitely stay here when we return to Hilton Head!

My husband & I have been coming to Hilton Head island for the past three winters. This year our stay at 8 Heath Dr made our stay the most enjoyable yet. The Krinskys home is warm, cozy, comfortable and totally updated (I love the new washer/dryer). We lingered longer than normal in the morning just relaxing as we watched the golfers tee off on #2 tee. The ambiance of the home could only match that of the island. Thank you for having us as your guests and for putting an asterick to our Hilton Head 2008 stay.

We have been fortunate enough to spend two months in this Hilton Head home. What a pleasure!!! The Krinskys have done everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Although the weather made using the pool and screened porch impossible for our stay they still added to the charming appeal of the home. How nice it was to find ALL the appliances new and of top quality since we cooked most of our meals. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning next winter as well. Going home to snow will not be easy.

Lovely, spacious and beautiful home that allowed us to make the most out of our Hilton Head vacation. We couldn't get enough of the screened porch and the heated pool that was perfect for a refreshing dip. The house is so comfy and nicely-appointed that we didn't even mind the occasional rainy day. Nestled among the trees and overlooking the second fairway of the Fazio golf course, it gave us just the peace and quiet we needed, plus easy access to the beach for long walks along the shore. We rented this property the last week of September and had a lovely time. The property was in an excellent location and we enjoyed the local restaurants and the beach. The property was well maintained and neat. The house was somewhat damp smelling, but that is what you would expect from a beach home. It aired out easily. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would go again.....

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Krinsky's vacation home. Every thing about the house was comfortable from the roominess of the house to the comfy beds. Even our sheltie dog loved the house. Our favorite pass time was walking to the beach (5 mins. away) looking at the beautiful trees and surroundings. We even saw deer on two occasions. I am sure we will return. I can honestly say this vacation ranked as one of my favorites.

The price of this property is low considering its location (which made us suspicious) but once staying in the home we understood why. The beach is a 10 minute walk which was fine but the home itself was not properly maintained or cleaned. The decor and furniture is old and dingy (except for the kitchen and dining room). The whole house had a damp, musty odor. We had to buy air fresheners when we arrived. The carpets were dirty, cannot tell when they were last washed. The deck furniture was in a state of disrepair, completely unusable. The pool water was green - we didn't use it. We would not rent this property again nor would we recommend it to anybody.

Owner response:Bewildered! Our house is professionally cleaned after every visit. You can see pictures of how nice our decor is. The house has a whole house dehumidifier installed and have had no other complaints. The carpets get cleaned once a year and have had no complaints. Will instruct the cleaners to clean the deck furniture better, however it is outside year round. The pool is maintained and cleaned once a week by a pool professional. We did have it resurface since your visit. Please contact me for references if you have any doubts.

Palmetto Dunes is a fantastic resort and the Krinsky house was very accomodating and very comfortable. We have a family of six and there was plenty of room for all of us to spend time together and have some time alone.

8 heath drive is a beautiful home. it felt like being in our own vacation home [which we could never afford]. we loved walking around that area of palmetto dunes and seeing all the other places. we loved that it was just a very short walk to the beach and alternated our time b/w the beach and the lovely pool. the enclosed lanai was such a bonus on a rainy evening when we had a family dinner. the home is the perfect size and i especially loved the comforting decor. we will definately be back next year!!!

THE HOME WAS IN PALMETTO DUNES, A PLACE WE LOVE. THE NEIGHBORHOOD WAS VERY NICE, QUIET, AND SECURE. THERE WAS A GREAT VIEW OF THE FAZIO GOLF COURSE FROM THE DECK AND LIVING ROOM. THE POOL WAS SMALL, & NEEDED MAINTENANCE. WE LOVED THE SCREENED-IN PORCH AND ATE SEVERAL MEAL OUT THERE. IT WAS A SHORT BIKE RIDE TO THE BEACH.
