Our family had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for the 10 family members and three dogs. The house was nicely supplied, comfortable, and warm. We cooked a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner as well as all of our meals. The location, grounds and scenery were great. We highly recommend this house for any occasion.

Our family of four stayed here for MLK weekend. What a great place. The rooms are HUGE, the beds are really comfortable and it is so clean and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the kitchen supplies. Good utensils, dishes, pots, etc...very cook friendly! Not knowing the area, we were very pleased with the location, close to sledding and skiing and also very quite and remote. My son said if he couldn''t live in our home, he would want to live here! Can't wait to see it in the summer. It looks like the property is beautiful and well landscaped. Just a really nice house and the owner, Anne, is so pleasant too!

The house is well maintained, and has a large kitchen/dining area. We prepared most of our meals in the handy kitchen, or bbq'd on the deck. (Bring all your own food, the town has a good grocery store.) We also ate in a nice cafe in McCloud . There is a large back deck that looks on an old forest and a beautiful babbling creek. The living room is roomy and comfortable. There is a small TV. The two bedrooms are large and very private, at opposite ends of the house. This was a fun retreat! We hiked along the McCloud river and saw the three water falls in November. I will recommend Turning Creek to my relatives. The neighborhood is very quiet. You can see Mt. Shasta from the kitchen window.

THIS IS THE BEST RENTAL IN THE MC CLOUD AREA BY FAR!!! I'VE RENTED UP IN THE AREA FOR ALMOST 20 YRS. THIS ONE IS IT. I WILL KEEP GOING BACK TO THIS HOUSE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. THE YARD, DECK, AND PROPERTY ARE BEAUTIFUL. THE HOME IS SPACIOUS AND IT WAS MUCH MORE THAN WE EXPECTED. IT WAS CLEAN, WELL MAINTAINED AND COMFORTABLE. THE PICTURES DON'T DO IT JUSTICE AND THE OWNERS ARE VERY NICE AND EASY TO DEAL WITH. IF YOU PASS THIS ONE UP YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!

This home is incredible. Really nice house, well appointed, on a spectacular lot - a view of Mt Shasta out the front door and a gurgling creek out the back. We were able to take our dog - which was a plus. We have three kids and there is so much to do in the area. The McCloud River reminds me of my childhood, places to fish, swim and hike. The town of McCloud is a bit sleepy, but we didn't come to spend time in town, though we did bike around every night. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to spend time in the mountains and outdoors.

We found the house to be very comfortable and convenient. Beautiful veiw of Mt. Shasta and the backyard setting is breath taking. This a place of relaxation with amenities and activities near by. The owners were very accommodating and genuinely concerned that we were happy with the home. We look forward to returning and would recommend to all.

My favorite vacation rental in all of McCloud. My husband and I grew up in McCloud and love going home. Turning Creek is a perfect place to bring our children and just as perfect as an adult get a way. The Lawn Guy is great!

What a beautiful home! We spent 5 days in this paradise. It has more amenities than our own home. The beds were so comfortable that I woke up energized and ready to golf & fish each day. My son loved the evenings on the patio barbequing and listening to the creek and crickets. We hesitated to write anything on the internet about this wonderful discovery because we wanted to keep it all to ourselves. Try it and you’ll understand what I mean. We’ll be back next year!
