Da Mouse House is a great getaway, nestled in the exclusive, fabulous Windsor Palms Resort community, less than two miles from Walt Disney World in Kissimmee, Florida. FOUR BEDROOMS and three bathrooms, fully air-conditioned; this Orlando vacation home is perfect for family groups, sleeping up to 9 guests WITH TWO MASTER SUITES.
You will LOVE our pool; it faces south. North facing pool = shade all day. South facing pool = SUN. There is NOTHING worse than coming to Florida to get some sun and then needing to sit in a folding chair on the driveway instead of the pool deck. That will NEVER happen at Da Mouse House.
AND our pool deck private. Our pool is one of the most private you are going to find in the Disney area. We've planted hedges between us and our neighbors and we face the outside fence of the community ... so you will find the pool very private and not be watching the neighbors swim while you sunbathe.
The Main Gate of Disney World is less than two short miles away ; Animal Kingdom and Blizzard Beach are even closer--just two stoplights. At night you can hear and see the fireworks Epcot. Some of the area's best shops and restaurants are just minutes away along the fa-"mouse" highway 192 and nearby Celebration.
The Atlanta Braves Spring Training stadium is just beyond the Main Gate of Disney World, the red-hot Houston Astro practice and play just down 192. AND the amazing Detroit Tigers are just down I-4 in Lakeland every March.
Set in a sub-tropical, manicured landscape, the resort's clubhouse is only a block away from the front door of "Da Mouse House". The clubhouse is great for the kids. It offers an array of free amenities available to all the resort’s guests. There are lighted tennis courts and state-of-the-art fitness room.
This is also the perfect place to lounge around the huge resort pool, kiddie pool and hot-tub and sunning yourself as you and the kids meet other guests and families.
Kids of all ages will want to stop at the video games room or play pool or table tennis inside the clubhouse. There is also an amazing 58-seat cinema in the clubhouse that has regular showings of popular and recent family-friendly movies.
Outside the clubhouse, you will find picnic and barbecue stands near the tennis courts, a kids play-lot, basketball courts and a sand volleyball court. There is even a sundry shop in the clubhouse if you run short of sun block, need a drink, a snack or a newspaper.
Da Mouse House has a HUGE family room with a 15-foot high cathedral ceiling and sliding glass doors that provide a stunning view of the private pool. There is an over-stuffed sofa, love seat, recliner, occasional tables and coffee table, lamps and a huge 50-inch large-screen TV, with cable, a DVD player PLUS a Sony PlayStation - so bring your favorite movie or your favorite game.
Just outside the family room, beyond the covered lanai with dining table, is the screened pool-deck and the (optionally) heated, private pool and bubbling spa. This south facing, sun-drenched pool and spacious deck are the largest Windsor Palms offers. So you and your family can splash around, tan in the warm Florida sunshine, and then enjoy the shaded lanai for lunch.
Three beautiful King Palms border the deck and hedges make the pool area private. For extra added protection for young infants should you need it, and all doors leading on to the deck area have been provided with additional safety locks and switchable alarms.
Sleeping accommodation at "Da Mouse House" includes two master bedrooms. The first master bedroom has a King-size bed, cable TV and DVD player, nightstands with lamps, a clock/radio and telephone, dresser and walk-in closet, plus a spacious master bathroom with double vanity basins, roman soaking tub, walk-in shower and toilet.
The second master bedroom also enjoys a King-size bed, cable TV, nightstands with lamps, a clock/radio, a walk-in closet...and it too has its own master bathroom suite with a walk-in shower, vanity basin with mirror, and a toilet.
The third and fourth bedrooms, (one with two twin beds and one with bunk beds that can sleep three) are perfect for the kids. Both bedrooms also feature cable TV, DVD players, plus dresser and closet space and share a Mickey-themed family bathroom.
The games room provides extra family fun, with a regulation size pool table and air hockey table.

- 100 meters from the Clubhouse -- close enough, but none of the noise. Foosball, pool table, video games and theater in the Clubhouse for rainy days. The biggest asset is our pool, it faces south. A south-facing pool gets sun all day. Think about it, if 2 pool heaters are running full blast but one pool is in the shade all day and another in the sun, the one in the sun will be the much warmer. AND there is NOTHING worse than coming to Florida to get some sun and then needing to sit in a folding chair on the driveway instead of the pool deck. That will NEVER happen at our house, the pool deck is on the south side. Whoever you rent from ask which way the pool faces - you will be happier with a south facing pool. We take pride in the Da Mouse House. We love it - you will too.

Why the Owner Chose Windsor Palms
We love Windsor Palms, the community is smaller that Windsor Hills or Emerald Isle and that means less crowds at the community pool and less competition to get on the tennis court. We love that our house is on a quiet street and has no one behind us -- our pool faces the outside fence of the development -- that adds a lot of privacy.

We are pool and parks people. The pool gets sun all day - it faces south and in 10 minutes we can be at Disney. There is NOTHING worse than coming to Florida to get some sun and then needing to sit in a folding chair on the driveway instead of the pool deck. That will NEVER happen at our house.
Our pool is one of the most private you are going to find in the Disney area. We have planted hedges between us and our neighbors.
We also enjoy Spring Traning (baseball) each year and we are less than ten minutes from Diseny's Wide World of Sports where the Atlanta Braves practice.

We have been visiting Florida each Christmas for the last 10 years and we love it. We also try to visit each year for Spring Training. We bought our house after staying in it as a VRBO guest. Our house is not just an investment, it is our home and we keep it up and make it comfortable for us and our guests. We recently repainted the house, installed granite counter-tops in the kitchen and a 46 inch TV in the living room. So, the house is better than the pictures on VRBO.
