This townhome is part of a boutique resort by the ocean, centrally located on the island, but in a setting where you can get away from the crowds. Relax on the lanais and look out at the ocean. With plenty of space it feels much more like a home than a hotel room. Our townhome condominium is well cared for by the resort staff and owners. The second bedroom contains a double bed and dresser for an additional adult or kids. On the ground floor the lanai leads to a lawn with tropical landscaping, and then down to Wailua Bay where sea turtles feed.
Wifi is complimentary. This unit has two beach chairs, boogie boards, and a beach umbrella for guests to use. The front office also has beach towels and coolers free to use. The staff and owner will gladly help provide information on things to do while on Kauai, where to get snorkel gear, etc.
The swimming pool area has tropical gardens surrounding it and a gas barbecue for guests. Because of the small number of homes the pool area can often be unoccupied. This vacation home is available directly from the owner at considerable savings. As an added convenience reservations and payment are handled by the resort front desk the same way full price customers pay for their stay.

No housekeeping on Holidays. We do provide extra towels for guests to use on non-housekeeping days. We try and have all the rooms completed by Noon. Why the Owner Chose Kapaa
We fell in love with Kauai on a discounted trip to listen to a timeshare presentation in Princeville. When looking into purchasing a place this unit at Kapaa Sands became available and we like how it is near the ocean, part of a small and low key resort, and the buildings are well spaced apart. It's our first and probably only investment property and our 2nd home.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Staying near the ocean is fantastic. It is wonderful to see and hear it especially when laying in bed. We also have a very lush setting which provides a lot of privacy and beauty. Kapaa Sands is in a good location on Kauai to visit other parts of the island which is important to us since we plan on coming back as much as we can and want to enjoy the variety of the different areas of Kauai.

We stayed here in January 2011 and WILL return. The accommodations were perfect for us, the property is lush and well-kept. We loved the local cat (outside), the pool, the barbeque. The location is a good starting point for day trips to the North shore (Ke'e Beach, Kalalau Trail) or to the South (great snorkelling at Poipu). The property is close to groceries, restaurants, a mall, Lydgate Park (great kiddie beach). We loved the amenities, the tastefully decorated interior, fresh flower arrangement, well-equipped kitchen, onsite laundry, comfortable beds. We felt safe and at home. Thank-you for making your property available to us!

We were there in June 2009 (my husband and I, 1 teenager and 1 pre-teen)and had a wonderful time. The condo was perfect for us. It was a good size and very comfortable. We felt so at home! I loved going to sleep to the sound of the ocean. The beach in front of the condo was beautiful and we enjoyed the pool and the poolside grill. The condo is very conveniently located to a number of beaches and was a good base for days trips. I highly recomend this place.

What a wonderful vacation! Everything about our stay on Kuaui was fabulous. The island has so much to do and offer. The condo was perfect for our needs, master bedroom with the lanai was relaxing, beautiful sounds of the ocean, beach was private, pool tropical setting. We really enjoyed our stay! The condo is fully loaded with everything you need for a comfortable vacation. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking, the living area has lots of room to relax and the bedrooms have great beds and closets. There are some supplies for the beach such as boogie boards, beach mats, etc. It is located by a nice little beach and the grounds are very nice with a swimming pool. The condo is conveniently located in a central location on the island. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby and it isn’t a far drive from the north and south shores. We can’t wait to go back again!

This is one of the best places I've stayed at while in Kauai, and I visit very often because my daughter lives there. Quiet with beautiful views and great convenience. I hope I can stay there again. The owners are extremely nice and helpful and the staff of Kapaa Sands is great.
