We had the pleasure of staying at Sea Breeze at Hibiscus Heights for two weeks in late April, early May 2011. Stunning location and absolutely beautiful space to our family to relax and luxuriate in. We have a young child who loved the pool and taking naps in the hammock. The service that Paul and Jill provided was excellent – very high standards. It was my first time to Tobago – Paul took the trouble everyday to suggest restaurants and places of interest, things to do etc. He even drove us to the Annual Goat Races where we happened to make it on to the 7pm news. The local area where Hibiscus Heights is located is also fantastic. I really suggest buying your fruit every morning from Mervyn’s fruit stand at the bottom of the road. Also, dinner at the Fish Pot is a must as well as take away Caribbean food from Joanne’s stand. All located a few minutes from the Heights. As far as excursions, make a visit to Eamonn – two villa’s away up the hill and let him take you out on a guided tour of the Island by bicycle. It’s safe and his bikes are in mint condition. Also a very special way to see Tobago where the cars don’t go. We also recommend Horseback riding in the ocean and on the beach with Healing Touch Horses in Bucoo. We had never been on horses before and found this a very special experience. To complete your stay – you must book a day cruise on the catamaran called Island Girl and go to the snorkeling spots and hidden bays that are only accessible by boat. It is worth noting that we only rented a car for 2 days out of the entire 2 weeks we were there as Hibiscus Heights is so central and you can walk to 2 of the best beaches in Tobago. Whatever you wish, Paul will be on call to make your trip a very memorable holiday of a lifetime. As was ours. We are already planning to go back. • Denise Parkinson, Paul Robinson – London, England

Robin Matthews from U.K. visited in April 2011 and awarded Hibiscus Heights is perfect. A stone's throw (and walkable) from arguably one of Tobago's nicest beaches, Grafton, it is perfectly located to explore anywhere on this gem of an Island. It has an excellent aspect, wonderful view over the sea, a small but perfectly adequate and very refreshing pool, spacious accommodation and an exemplary maid service. From here, you have easy access to Pigeon Point, Turtle watching (when in season and not to be missed) and Buccoo reef. In the latter case, 'CJ' is the only man to go with. Ask around when you are there and you will find him. A whole host of other things to do: bird sanctuary Near to the house (walking distance again) is an excellent but expensive restaurant 'The Fish Pot', but better and ludicrously good value, local and tasty is 'Joanne's Finger Lickin' Food' is first rate - takeaway only. Pizza boys a couple of doors down not bad for hungry kids either. Small supermarket here too. Always feels like a bit of a gamble doing it over the internet, but look no further, this is the place: perfectly located, good value, well run and just really nice. We would go again.

Tracey Jennings from Australia visited in March 2011 and awarded Well, can I just say that the first words that came out of my mouth when I walked into the room were..."I could sooooo live here!!! I love it! Thank you for creating this awesome space!" The "Artist Studio" was such a pleasure and joy to stay in. And I stayed in alot, lol. It was a wonderful refuge at the end or beginning of my day. With only a few steps away from the "Pleasant Prospect"...this one is a very happy girl. Thank you Gill and Paul for an uninterrupted pleasant stay. I'm booking in again already!!!! Thanks again, Tracey

Jenny from Trinidad visited in March 2011 and awarded We spent six night at Hibiscus Heights during the Carnival period, What first caught my attention was the spectacular view of the ocean from the warp around veranda, the openness of warm breezes, nice clean surroundings, the location of the property, basically all convenience around. Our party occupied the entire place and each occupant enjoyed their unit. Having Grafton beach in walking distance was a plus, we enjoyed our time their, and if you love to exercise, the walk to the beach is a good workout. Our host Paul and Gill, were always ready to help with our request. Hibiscus heights is a beautiful Guest House which I can recommend to anyone, especially families. Jenny

Visited Sweet Nest in February 2011 This was our second stay at Hibiscus Heights, this time we occupied the Sweet Nest - a charming cottage located by the entrance of the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is situated in a good location, close to all beautiful beaches. It was also very handy to be near local food shops, restaurants, ATM etc... The apartment caters for all and has everything a person needs to have a good stay, long or short. We loved Sweet Nest. Everything went perfectly and we really didn't want to leave when the time came. We would like to thank Paul, Gill and Nekeisha for their hospitality and making sure our holiday was one of the best we had so far !!! Will we be back? You bet! Would we recommend this place? Absolutely! Agata & Robert London

Rose And John Arndt from U.S.A. visited in November 2010 and awarded We thoroughly enjoyed our three-week stay in Warm Breezes in November of 2010. The house was beautiful and very spacious for five people. It was very clean and well stocked with appliances, kitchen ware, etc. Our maid Dixie who came six days a week was efficient and pleasant. We rented a car through Paul's friend who delivered it right to the house. The location was perfect. The ocean view was spectacular and the closest beach was one of the best on the island. It was quiet and scenic with convenient Buccaneer Bar right on the beach. The small market and a few restaurants were right there at Pleasant Prospect. Joanne's was a hit with her authentic Tobagan dinners. Mt. Irvine Bay, my surfer son's favorite beach, was within walking distance. The island was beautiful, laid back, a tropical paradise. The Tobagonians were quite friendly and helpful. Paul was a gracious host and was a great source of information about everything on the island. He picked us up at the airport and visited with us occasionally. We loved our very relaxing stay there and highly recommend it to others. Rosanne

Visited Sweet Nest and Corner View in November 2010 Thanks a lot to Paul, who cared so well for us!!! We felt very, very comfortable during our stay. We had one nice week in Sweet Nest, which is definitely the right name, and two weeks in Corner View, which we liked even better. The view of the balcony is awesome and so our breakfast took more time every day than we planed. Both apartments are lovely furnished and clean and Corner View is incredible huge with an own washing machine!! We have been on Tobago for Kitesurfing and it took us 15-20 minutes to get to “Pigeon Point”, which is the main kitesurfing spot. But it was also very nice to explore the island by car. We have been to tons of places and had great swims in the waterfall pools. During our stay we saw some other apartment houses and we never regret our decision to stay at Hibiscus Heights, which is definitely the best place! Christmas greetings from Frankfurt Conny & Jochen Frankfurt, Germany

It was a joy to see that the wonderful photo's of the accommodation (we stayed in the Artists Studio) shown on the owners website, were actually better in reality. The accommodation was extremely clean and had all of the 'creature comforts' one could need to make their stay feel like home from home. Hibiscus Heights is in a great location with the nearest beach, eateries, ATM, store all within walking distance. It also has the added advantage of being near to a main trunk road leading into the capital, Scarborough. The owner, Paul, took the time to converse with us on several occasions, even though the rest of the accommodation units/apartments were fully booked. The downside - can truthfully say there weren't any. Would definitely stay there again.

Visited Corner View in April 2010 We would like to thank you for the great time in your Apartment. We enjoyed it so much from the first moment. On our arriving we got a mobile phone and also very helpful informations about the island and the beaches. As we asked for the next supermarket, Paul gave us a lift to there to do our shopping and he also showed us the area around Pleasant Prospect. He also made many special things for us (driving us to the beach for turtle watching, helped us with the scooter, etc.). Also the apartment was realy nice and we had a great view over the Bay. There was also a lot of space at the apartment to feel like at home. Once again, everything was great and we realy recommend the Hibiscus Heights! Andrej & Tamara Switzerland

Visited Warm Breezes in April 2010 We loved the/ Warm Breezes/, guesthouse and all the amenities and especially the view from the surround veranda. It was breathtaking! I miss Togabo so much. Gill will you adopt me please so I can stay forever lol. Nice high vaulted ceilings kept the place cool with the overhead fans and AC. The beds were good and the rooms were clean, The soft and calming ambiance of this place feels so good after a day of site seeing. Birds of all makes and sizes and beautiful too at your veranda in the AM and the calming sound of Caribbean at night. It was magnificent. Your a about 5 minutes away from a few home grown Ma and Pa dinning places with a small grocery store right next to them. There are boat and reef tours just down the road too and the beach (like you have your choice of 10 maybe and they are quite) is just down the road. Your in a "rual" part of Tobago and out of the tourist zone here and you get to see the local culture. Get Gillian and Paul to rent you a car $50 or an SUV for $75 US as you are only 15 minutes away form Crown Point and the drive is great. We went up to English Bay and Specide and boy was it beautiful. Gillian was a great hostess. Thank you so much. I hope to come down again if you will have us lol Dale Bon and Autumn Ontario, Canada

Visited Corner View in November 2009 We would like to thank you so much for your hospitality on our honeymoon at Hibiscus Heights. We spent 3 days at Corner View and we absolutely LOVED that apartment. It is quite beautiful, spacious, cosy, comfortable and has everything we needed for our short stay/ honeymoon. Thank you for arranging the rental car for us, and for your helpful tips about where to eat & visit- we thoroughly enjoyed being on that side of the island, and used that opportunity to visit many of the beaches and towns on the west coast. I highly recommend Hibiscus Heights to anyone who wants a home away from home for their vacation, in a safe, beautiful and friendly neighbourhood in Tobago. The apartment and its views are breathtaking and you are wonderful hosts. If we return for holidays, we are sure to stay with you! Best wishes to your family and the business- may God continue to bless you & yours. Leiba & Merijin Stuart

Visited The Artist's Studio in October 2009 If you're visiting Tobago, I can't suggest Hibiscus Heights highly enough. On holiday, like most people, I find certain things always need to be arranged after you arrive; Paul and Gill (and Peggy) were all so helpful, it was just easy. Right from the start, Paul picked me up from the airport, stopped off at the store so I could pick up groceries, before giving me a short tour of Grafton. They lent me a phone, even found snorkeling equipment I could borrow. And of course, their knowledge of the area helped our group pick up the best beaches and restaurants to visit; some of which were in walking distance. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did :). Visited Sweet Nest in January 2008 We just had the absolute pleasure of staying in the appropriately named "Sweet Nest" cottage for 7 nights. This was everything we could have hoped for in a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The cottage is perfectly appointed with plenty of room, a full kitchen, and a huge, private deck with a grill. The towels are soft and the bed is very comfy. There is a folder in the room packed with info on Tobago and pamphlets about activities around the island. Many birds, flowers, and little lizards grace the deck, where we spent a fair amount of time liming about. The cottage is within walking distance to many wonderful things. Grafton Beach, which by our research is the best beach in the area and one of the nicest on the island, is a five minute walk. Perfect palm trees and great waves, not too busy but not deserted (there is a hotel at the far end of Grafton). Resaraunt and bar on the beach and a couple of great shops to buy some beautiful goods or art. Some of the better restaraunts are closeby the cottage as well - The Fish Pot, The Seahorse Inn, and Patino's are all cant miss. Make sure to go to the Fish Pot for lunch and dinner, as their dinner menu is fresh and delicious. And for drinks and a couple games of pool, the Signature Lounge (above the pizza shop - which serves a tastey pie by the way) is a great little bar with excellent ocean veiws and friendly staff. There is a market at the bottom of the hill too, with an inexhaustible supply of snacks, wine, cuban cigars, and Carib's for the cottage deck. You also cannot miss the fresh fish market at Mt. Irvine Bay, 4PM nearly every day. Also, Bucco Jct, and Crown Point, and the golf course are short drives away. Paul and Gillian are wonderful hosts who take great pride in thier property and the experiences of thier guests. They are outgoing and curteous, and knowledgable about the area. We visited the other apartments and were dazzled by the "Warm Breezes" suite. The pictures really do not do Hibiscus Heights justice, and we highly recommend being a guest here on your trip to Tobago! I know we will be back. Thank you Paul and Gillian!!

We Really Felt Like Home At Sweet Nest! My husband and I stayed at Sweet Nest for our honeymoon on January 10-24 2008. We were incredibly happy with our choice as the cottage is absolutely perfect and Paul and Gillian are the most wonderful hosts, with excellent help from Sandra the house keeper. Sweet Nest is unbelievably well-equipped with everything we could possibly think of and more (dvd-player with movies, cd-player with cds, iron and board, blow-dryer, picnic basket and so on). We had everything we needed in the kitchen (fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, mixer and all possible utensils) and enjoyed cooking there and eating out on the deck, hearing and watching the beautiful exotic birds. We enjoyed the birds more than we expected to and really recommend a walk up to the nearby Grafton Caledonia Bird Sanctuary to see one of their feedings (8 a.m. and 4 p.m.). The location was perfect – close to pretty much everything, like Scarborough and Crown Point where most of the action is. It was easy to get around even without a rental car as just about everybody on Tobago likes to make some extra cash as taxi drivers, you just have to stand by the road and wave to cars passing by. Grafton Beach, only a couple of minutes on foot from Sweet Nest, was the best beach we tried on Tobago! Great swimming with good-sized waves and not at all crowded like Pigeon Point and Store Bay. A few more minutes in the other direction takes you to Mt Irvine Beach which is good if you're looking for more people and facilities. The nearby grocery store Marie's Place was good to have and also the ATM, Pizza Boys, The Fish Pot restaurant, Mom's Roti Shop, Ocean View Bar et cetera. We hope to be back one day, maybe with friends or family so we can stay in the big villa – the view from up there is excellent!

Funk & Wagnall defines "PARADISE' as "THE ULTIMATE ABODE OF RIGHTEOUS SOULS" and "ANY REGION OR STATE OF SURPASSING DELIGHT" Such is Hibiscus Heights at Pleasant Prospect, Tobago. My wife and I have just returned from two weeks at Hibiscus Heights and have had the time of our lives. Now, if beaches, sunshine, fine people, good food and excellent accomodations are not to your liking then stay away. However, if you desire a vacation where the hosts are the best, the property is excellent, in a region of friendly people, good food, cold beer, tasty rum, astounding beaches and a central location for touring; the Hibiscus Heights is for you. We occupied the studio apt. which is roomy and well equipped. A great place to use as homebase or as home. Whichever you desire. This property is clean, well managed, and is constantly monitored for upgrades. The cottage is a wonderful place, cozy and attractive, with its private deck and four poster bed.The three bedroom villa will satisfy anyones accomodation requirements. With is private pool and wraparound veranda. No matter what your budget Hibiscus Heights has accomodations to fit. Thanks again to Paul and Gil for the vacation of our lifetime.

Dear Gillian, dear Paul! Returning back home and starting work again, time has passed so fast. We want to thank you bothfor your warm welcome and for caring so much throughout our stay in Hibiscus Hights. Those days gave us so much recreation to recover from our work, enjoying the view from the veranda and the luxurious amenities of your beautiful "Belle Etage". As parents of 3 children we missed nothing, laundry and dryer adding to the comfort as well as the barbecue, which is marvelous with the fresh fish you can buy down at the beach. Your island offers all you search for in a vacation and Hibiscus Heights is the center of relaxation and comfort. In these gray rainy days here in Germany we still talk frequently about our wonderful time in your house and on the island Tobago. We want to thank you once more for the perfect time you provided for us and we wish to stay at your place maybe next change of the years. Sincerely Irene, Thorsten, Alexander, Sophia and Leonard

Dear Paul & Jill Many thanks again for your warm hospitality. We enjoyed our stay at your beautifully designed and spacious villa. The four-poster bed and the hand-made furnitures ensure a romantic atmosphere. This was like home away from home. The villa is ideal for honeymooners, couples or families. We just loved the tropical surroundings and the breathtaking view from the large terrace. The pool was refreshing and guaranteed privacy. The location of Hibiscus Heights is excellent: a short walk to one of the best beaches in Tobago, minimart & local restaurants. All in all: Friendly and helpful staff, the most excellent and cleanest accommodation on the island! We hope to stay with you again soon and recommend your property to everybody!
