This home is directly on Powers Lake in Powers Lake, WI just seven miles from the town of Lake Geneva and only a few miles from the Illinois border. Powers Lake is a beautiful spring fed lake, perfect for swimming, boating (sail and motor) and relaxing. Kids will enjoy the sandy beach and calm water. The lake has a sand bar on its south end that people gather at during the summer. During the winter the lake has skaters, ice fisherman and snowmobiling. There are local restaurants near the property and a wealth of restaurants in nearby Lake Geneva.
The home is large with exceptional finishes. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and granite counters, the great room has a stone fireplace and large flat screen television, the home theater has a 110 inch screen and reclining seats for six, the pool table area includes an antique slate pool with view of lake, there is a large multi-tiered deck, a screened porch, and a boat pier with a sitting area.
This home is perfect for a relaxing fun-filled family vacation or for a family reunion. The property is over 300 feet deep with 60 feet of lakefront. You can seat your family group for meals in the dining and kitchen areas. During the summer you can sit in the screened in porch and on the deck (patio tables and chairs at both). The hot tub/spa is perfect in winter and summer.
The separate apartment above one of the two-car garages is perfect for parents or adult kids, or even as a separate space for teens. The apartment has a living room with cable television, one bedroom, a full bath, its own kitchen, including range, cook top, microwave, refrigerator, utensils, etc. You could sleep up to four easily in the two twin beds and inflatable queen sized bed.
The main house has four bedrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom is large with a lake view. The master bathroom has been recently renovated. It has stone tile, a soaking tub, a large shower, and a separate toilet area. The office (on the main level) has a comfortable queen sized pull-out couch. As noted above, you could sleep four in the apartment.
Please note that we do not offer our property for after prom parties. It is also not available to large groups looking for a party. This is a perfect family getaway home.

We could not have been happier with our stay at The Last Resort. There were 15 in our family, ages 2 to 64, and everyone had plenty to keep busy (even on the one cloudy day). The property by far exceeded our expectations and was immaculate. But the best part was the fun - our 5 year old son caught a turtle just off the dock on our first day! The fishing is amazing and the lake is beautiful. The sand beach was loads of fun for the little ones and the hot tub was a blast for the adults. This house was just perfect for our large family. We specifically selected it because of the extra-large dining room, and large living area, and we were still surprised at how roomy it actually was! The decks are fabulous and the view of the lake couldn't have been better. Plenty of hot water for 10 showers, too! We certainly didn't require a media room, but once we got there, it was nearly constant showtime--the little kids could watch cartoons in the morning, and the big boys could watch sports all day and not interfere with the constant conversations of the ladies! While we were specifically wanting Powers Lake, this is a perfect location for the entire region.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

My family of 10 adults and children ranging from 7 yrs to 3 months in addition to the family pup had an absolutely wonderful stay. Pictures do not do this home justice....the bedrooms are all good size with comfortable beds; the eating areas were large enough for all to eat together...inside & out on the multilevel deck, the hot tub was a big plus also. All enjoyed the cinema room especially the little ones....who wouldnt love having a movie theatre right there in their home. We had a few rain out days but with the cinema room, pool table and 499 games on game table no one really minded. Owner (Tim) was very helpful meeting us upon arrival to answer any and all questions also. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to have an upscale home with Lake Geneva minutes away.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had a family reunion at your wonderful house and it could not have worked out better! The spaciousness of the living area does not adequately come across on the website. At one time we had 20 people in for a barbeque and there was ample room for everyone. You did a wonderful job of providing directions for the media center, the games, everything. I would not hesitate to recommend your beautiful property to anyone needing deluxe accomodations for a large group. What a find!

We had the most wonderful time at this house. It was such a treat. The house was VERY large and very clean. The owners were helpful and informative. We rented both the house and the apartment and it worked out great. This was our 2007 family reunion (now granted we have a pretty small family) We hope to come back year after year. It is very close to Walmart and other stores etc. I have to tell the owners that this website does not do the house justice!! The house is much bigger, and more beautiful. The view of the lake is amazing. It was too cold when we visited to utilize the lake. The backyard is fit for entertaining.

Accomadations were excellent. We had everything we needed and more. The kids cried when we had to leave. We ate every meal in because no one wanted to leave. We really enjoyed the media room, the pool table, and the game table. We had very bad weather and still had a great time. The improvements done in this house enhance it totally.
