Our rental is a 2600 square foot luxury townhouse. The unit is in near new condition (built in 2006).
Features include great room with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and stone fireplace (gas); great open floorplan with kitchen/bar/and dining room flowing into great room; master bedroom has a gas fireplace, jetted tub, and views towards Northstar; kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and wine frig; 2 car attached garage; hard wood floors and slate tiles downstairs with carpet upstairs. Wireless DSL service at house.
3 Bedrooms (sleeps 6): Master has King bed; Other bedrooms have 1 queen and 2 twins.
Location is 4.5 miles to Northstar entrance (closest location other than being in Northstar); 1 mile to Old Town Truckee; 2 Miles to I80. About 15 minute drive to Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows turn-offs. Excellent central location.

Why the Owner Chose Northstar
This is a great location for easy access to truckee, ski resorts, mountain biking, and a short drive to Lake Tahoe. The development is called Pinyon Creek and is located near Brockway and Hwy 267. The unit is in the rear.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
This is a large unit that feels like a home. It has a nice deck with views of the Northstar Ski Resort as well as a large 2 car garage.

Owned by a family of four from the Bay Area. We are regular winter and summer visitors and love skiing at Squaw, snowshoeing, hiking and spending time at the lake.

My family spent the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve 2011 at this house and we had a very good time. The house is gorgeous and the pictures accurately reflect the appearance of the house and amenities. The house is 5min drive to North Star, and very close to Truckee, restaurants, and stores. The property was extremely clean and looked new. The owner was very prompted answering any problem with the house and was also very flexible as to our scheduled stay. I would highly recommend the house and would rent this house again.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+.

This really feels more like a home than a townhouse, very spacious, with quality construction and appliances, etc. The back patio was great, gets a lot of sun, but could have used some more patio furniture and of couse would love a hot tub! But overall, it's a great vacation home, and I have to say that the pictures in the vrbo ad don't do the place as much justice as they should. The master bedroom is amazing. Everything is very new and clean, but also cozy. And very convenient location being just a short drive to Truckee. Thanks Brad! We had a great time staying here over New Years, and we will recommend to others in the future!
