If you are looking to take an afforadable vacation with family and friends and want that luxury experience, this is definatey the place to come. There were bi-level floors which provided enough space and privacy for everyone. the two bath were a plus, kitchen and living rooms were very spacious. The beach and pool facilities were only a fews minutes away by golf cart. The beauty of this villa rental, it was very clean. The owner were extremely helpful with the surrounding area and places to go. My children and family had a wonderful time and would definately be coming back for more fun and relaxation.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

we stayed in Palmas the week of Feb. 18-25. the house is very spacious. a well equipped kitchen. plenty of room for 9 adults. the living has good comfortable leather furniture. the bedrooms have good ample furniture, comfortable beds. the 4th bedroom are 2 bunkbeds, suitable for children. overall, the accommodations were good. the house does need a little TLC, but the place was very clean when we arrived and the owner was very helpful. we communicated via text and the few issues that we had were resolved very quickly. the apt. is conveniently located to everything. beach is a short 10 minute walk. we used the Club House a couple of days for $15 per day which worked out well if you wanted to relax in luxury. Palmas is a very secure place, close to San Juan with several restaurants, grocery store. I would stay there again.

Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We had 6 in our party and there's plenty of room and really liked the time we were there. Everything is as advertised and would definitely stay there again. The Only issue i had was the wi-fi was not working properly but who needs it if your here...lol

This was our third time in Palmas Del Mar but our first time in this house. It was a great place to stay! There was plenty of room, we did not feel like we were on top of each other and there were 9 of us. The rooms were very well appointed, the kitchen had everything needed to cook. I cannot say enough about Mr. and Mrs. Ho, the owners. They were fabulous to work with. There were two small glitches that were taken care of right away. Mrs Ho called to make sure everything was ok. I highly recommend staying here!

We spent our summer vacation in the villa and had a wonderful time. This house was perfect, we traveled with our teenage kids and a couple of their friends and having two bedrooms and a bathroom in a different level provided the privacy that they needed as well giving us parents our space. Robert was a great hosts and took the time to show us around palmas in his limousine golf cart and gave us very helpful information. Our kids had a blast and since they all were over 16 yrs they were able to drive the golf cart around palmas without us having to leave the house. When we come back to PR this place will definitely make our list of places to stay.

I LOVE THIS HOME.. I WILL BE RETURNING! I LOVE THE LOCATION, THE SIZE, THE AMMENITIES AND THE CLEANLINESS.... THERE WERE A FEW GLICHES, LIKE THE GOLF CART WASN'T WORKING (NEEDED A NEW BATTERY, ONE OF THE AC'S STOPPED WORKING AND THE KITCHEN FAUCET NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED) BUT THE OWNER WAS WILLING AND VERY HELPFUL TO GET THESE THINGS REPAIRED IN A TIMELY MANNER... I WOULD RECOMMNEND THIS PLACE TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.. THANKS AGAIN FOR A GREAT FAMILY TRIP.. GREAT FOR LARGE PARTIES, VERY SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE! THE PICTURES ARE COMPLETELY ACCURATE... WHAT A GREAT HOME!

GREAT PLACE + GREAT PEOPLE = GREAT VACATION To tell the truth, I never had such an amazing experience at rental places before. It was like being a very dear guest, if not a part of a family. Carmen did everything to make our stay as pleasant as it could be, and even more! We'll never forget the freshest seafood she generously provided for us several times. WOW!!! The place itself is great, and electric golf cart makes it even better. Much more than we expected for our money. Thank you, Carmen and Robert. Absoultely WONDERFUL! My family and I have stayed in Roberts villa on more than one occasion now, and will rent from no one else when we go to the island! Non bias opinion here, I am a retired Marine and call a spade a spade, and sugar coat nothing. Robert and his wife are the best host's that I have had the experience of meeting thru VRBO. My wife and I have traveled the world, and use VRBO often. Robert has made staying in his villa very easy and comfortable! I truely enjoy his villa, it has absolutely everything that anyone needs for a one week or longer stay. Very reasonable rates. Very clean, very comfortable. We have five kids and with the layout it is absouletly perfect for a large or small family! Palmas Del Mar is very close to anywhere that a person may want to go to on the island, and is a very safe, gated community. Just in case of a rainy day and you may stay inside the villa all day, Robert has a whole library full of videos including too many to count videos that are childrens movies, no movie (dvd) is inappropriate for any ones viewing. I know that I am being long winded here, so I leave it as this...YOU WILL NOT BE DIS-APPOINTED IF YOU RENT THIS OR HIS OTHER VILLA! Sincerly, Lawrence and Carmen Dimmig.

We stayed at this rental in mid-late June 2009 for one week. Looking over the other comments posted, they have the same general feeling I do- it was a great place to stay. The previous guest who couldn't find a beach must not have searched too far. I wouldn't say it was in walking distance, unless you like walking more than I do, but the golf cart made it easily accessible for us. Around the corner is also a "mini-mall" where you can buy anything from clothing to food staples. Ther are also a few doctors offices right on the resort. A few points that I should note- the beach club is only for those who belong to the country club, so we used the beach at the sheraton. Also, we had issues using internet and satellite television. Our family has been to PR before, so we understand that this happens on the island a bit. Obviously this isn't the owner's issue, but the satellite company's. Overall, we had a great trip, and this rental was everything we wanted!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The house was clean, cool and very comfortable for our group. We loved sitting out on the back porch and watching the lizards, soaking up the sun and relaxing. We also enjoyed driving around the beautiful and very large resort in the golf cart. A very nice added amenity to this rental. We found some beautiful beaches to swim at also to hunt for shells and sea life. Thank you again we all had a great time. Vincent Putorek

The house is beautiful, and almost everything we needed was provided (except food, etc). Palmas Del Mar is huge, and the golf cart came in handy to get around. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent ten glorious days at this house and it was great! The house is spacious, clean and well equipped. Everything worked and in order. Palmas is a wonderful resort with all the amenities one could ask for. We enjoyed tooling around in the golf cart, I highly recommend Chez Daniel for a great, if somewhat expensive, dinner, then go to the Tapas bar for a glass of wine and fine local music. We had a great time in Palmas Del Mar. What a beautiful place to vacation. This property was fantastic and the use of the golf cart was an added feature that was greatly needed. Robert was very easy do deal with and I look forward to renting this same property in the future!

Sorry for this late comment. I stayed at this great place for Christmas and New Years. And I must say it does not look like much from the outside but you walk in and you are amazed on how big this place is. It was hard to get my son to leave the house and go around town. I have stayed in many place in Plamas before as I go down there quite often, and hands down this has been the best yet. It is so comfortable that we threw did the Christmas gathering there instead of the usual place, my fathers house. I am looking forward to going back to PR and renting this place again.

We came back yesterday from Robert's and Carmen's house in Palmas del Mar. We had a wonderful time. The house was very spacious and clean, and Palmas del Mar was very safe. It was only a short drive to the rain forest. I played tennis and enjoyed the tennis club there. The children enjoyed the golf cart, and my wife her walks at the beach. The waves were high and the undertow dangerous at the beach at Palmas, but we drove to a nearby beach in Fajardo that was very pleasant. I am definitely coming back to this rental.

the villa was very nise just like the site says but we stood for a week and the golf cart was not working for the whole week we had to rent one at 320 for the week also there are no pools or beaches that can be used while staying at this villa before renting make sure you are staying at a villa that has everything

Owner response: This family had 7 or 8 guest staying in the unit and did inform them that they get a 4/5 passenger golf cart as part of the rental and complain that the golf cart couldn't fit all the guest and had to rent another golf cart. Inform them that this unit does not have a pool but beach club passes was available upon request. Complain about everything and worst guest I every had to deal with.

It is everything that all the others have commented and so much more. It is a beautiful house. Clean, spacious, inviting...Even the beds were comfortable. I have found that hotels have the most uncomfortable beds, but the beds in this house were fantastic. Having this house as a base for our vacation made it truly a vacation.

My boyfriend and three kids just returned from vacationing at this house in Palmas. First let me say that Robert, the owner was extremely accomodating and available at all times. The house is equipped with everything you may need including a barbecue, golf cart and even a wide selection of movies to watch should you want to just relax inside. There are restaurants on the premises, grocery shopping, gambling, beach club and of course a very short distance to the beach. Palmas is absolutely breath taking and I would recommend renting this house, which by the way was very affordable. For a pleasurable vacation I would highly recommend staying at this condo.

YOU WILL DEFENITELY NOT BE DISSAPOINTED IF YOU RENT THIS UNIT. IT WAS SPACIOUS, VERY CLEAN,COMFORTABLE AND LOCATED IN A BEAUTIFUL AND ELEGANT PRIVATE COMMUNITY. HAVING THE KITCHEN WITH ALL THE AMMENITIES WAS A BIG PLUS. IT SAVED US MONEY AND WE DIDNT HAVE TO RUSH OUT FOR MEALS WHEN WE WANTED TO STAY IN AND RELAX. Palmas Del Mar is a great gated community with incredible beaches, great food at the plaza or marina, nice quiet street where we found this comfortable Monte Carlo adjouned 4 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Our family enjoyed grilling on the deck overseeing the tennis courts, short walk up the hill to the Plaza (great Pizza, Sushi, Bakery!) and, of course, enjoying the surf!

If anyone is looking to have a calm and relaxing time at an affordable price, this is the house to rent at Palmas del Mar. I was a bit nervous because of the great price listed (I had previously stayed at this resort and payed much more for a 1 week stay). The house is in great condition, beach & dining facilities are nearby and the kids had a GREAT time at the beach club.I am already making plans for my next stay at this house, my recommendation is to go ahead and book it while it's still available.
