We arrived at 1 Nighthawk and were blown away with how beautifully maintained the home was. There were 9 adults and 2 children, and we still had plenty of room. The children slept on an air mattress we brought from home, and our ninth adult slept on the pull out couch in the media room. There are beach toys and chairs left from previous tenants in the garage, so there is no need to bring extra from home. It was wonderful booking this home through Dawn at Coastal Owner Services. Up to our vacation date she’d respond to any inquiry in a timely manner. Even after arriving we found the back sliding door to be off the track, I wrote her a quick email and within 20 minutes two maintenance men showed up ready to fix it. The beach is literally four houses down on a quiet street. The circle is a 10 minute walk/5 minute bike ride; this home really is in a great location. You don’t need to look any further; this vacation home was PERFECT and left many memories for my family.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners.

We spent a wonderful week at 1 Nighthawk! The house was very clean, spacious, airy, and well equipped! Wonderful location...great beach! Loved seeing the dolphins everyday! The bike path was great...rode to Coligny everyday for coffee or ice cream! Hope to return next year!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

This is our second trip to 1 Nighthawk. The house is so nice and has that warm feeling too like you are at home. It has everything you could want or need in a vacation beach house. We really enjoyed the front porch, especially on the rainy days and evenings, plus the pool and hot tub were nice too. The home is clean and beautifully decorated. Everything was great and we appreciated getting to stay a little longer to enjoy the beach and sunshine. This home is such a short walk to the beach and we love that the beach is not crowded. You can even ride your bike to the Coligny Plaza where you can enjoy shopping and several restaurants. Thank you Dawn for making the rental experience so personal. We call HHI, Paradise! Our favorite thing about this home is the location - sweet, beach-house neighborhood, so easy to get to and a few houses down from stepping right onto the beach. Nearby groceries, shops, restaurants - the kitchen is perfect, stocked with everything you need to cook - the air-conditioner is incredible - the master bed is so comfortable - the front porch is shady, perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We loved bringing our dog, we took many long walks in the neighborhood and the beach. It was a fabulous time for us and we appreciate it Dawn. We'll be back many times in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Our family, twelve of us, have just returned to Cleveland, Ohio after one week at 1 Nighthawk. We could not have been more pleased with everything about the rental. From the huge rooms, the number of bathrooms, convenient working kitchen, 4 houses from the beach, the pool in the yard and the evenings spent on the front porch with cocktails. It was "perfect." The close proximity to Coligny Plaza and shopping was also excellent. We could not have chosen a better place to vacation in Hilton Head.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+.

Dawn - We had a great time on our vacation to Hilton Head. It was our first time to the South East Coast, as we have been going to the Florida Gulf Coast for many years (Destin, Gulf Shores, etc.) We were very impressed with HH's beauty and "less-touristy" feel. Very enjoyable week. The beach was a short walk with lots of room to do your sunbathing or swimming. Often we were the only ones in the water for 100 yards and had no one within 50 feet of us on the sand. We loved the veranda for morning coffee or late night storm watching and everything in between. The pool area was disappointing as the pool was very small-even by Hilton Head standards and the water wouldn't drain down in the area around the pool. The drain was clogged. We called the management company the first day. They were going to come back on Monday to fix that and bring a remote for the Master bedroom TV. Never saw them again. All the rooms and beds were comfortable. Water pressure was good in the showers. Loved the area and the Island. We go there every other year and enjoy the cleanliness and love the bulding codes that don't allow commercial properties to dominate the landscape. We left beach chairs and boogie boards for the next group and hopefully others will do the same. Loved dinner at Santa Fe and breakfast at the Holiday Inn was a bargain as 2 kids eat free. Huge breakfast buffet with omlets, waffles and everything else. You also get beverage for $10 an adult. Let the wife sleep and take the kids. Overall a very good property.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

Murphy (AGENT). RENTER agrees to rent 1 Nighthawk, a privately owned home, for a period beginning at 4:00 pm Saturday,_________ and ending at 10:00 am on Saturday, __________. The rental home is located at: 1 Nighthawk Street, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina 29928. RESERVATIONS: This reservation will be held for 48 hours with verbal reservation confirmation, pending receipt of email confirmation of the reservation. Upon receipt of email confirmation this reservation will be held for ten (10) days pending receipt of the following: a)Signed original contract b)50% deposit, which is (50% $2179.25 ) made out to Coastal Owner Services Please mark one form of payment from the following: I WOULD LIKE TO PAY THE 50% DEPOSIT BY: __ CHECK, __ CREDIT CARD, __ MONEY ORDER I WOULD LIKE TO PAY THE 50% BALANCE BY: __ CHECK, __ CREDIT CARD, __ MONEY ORDER These items must be received within 10 days from date of email confirmation and should be mailed to the following address: Coastal Owner Services 1 Mallard Street Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 Phone (843) 247-0227 PAYMENTS: The balance of the rent (50% $2179.25) is due 60 days in advance of the first day of rental. All payments must be made through personal check, cashiers check, money order or PayPal. If the Renter's check does not clear, the renter will be charged a $50 fee and reservation cancelled if a valid payment is not received within 7 days. RENTER may bring pet if agreed upon and pet fee is paid. RENTER agrees to pay (Total $5358.50) rent, in full at least 60 days prior to the arrival date. Failure to pay on time will constitute cancellation, unless arrangements have been made and communicated to Dawn. Non-payment of the full balance within 30 days of check-in, will be treated as a "cancellation with less than 60 days notice". CANCELLATION: If this reservation is cancelled the deposit will be returned, less a $250 administrative fee, up to 60 days before Renter's scheduled arrival date. All notice of cancellations must be made by e-mail to Dawn dawn@forestbeachrentals.com. If less than 60 days notice is given, the rental deposit will be refunded less $75 administrative fee, if the unit re-rents with no revenue lost. Otherwise, RENTER will forfeit the deposit. If the RENTER does not arrive or leaves early, the RENTER will receive no refund. If official mandatory hurricane evacuation orders are issued, the RENTER will be released from this contract, and the rent will be prorated, with the rent balance returned to the RENTER. MAXIMUM NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS: The house is to be occupied by no more than Ten (10) persons at a maximum. NOT ALLOWED: Excessively loud parties or other disturbances. No illegal substances are allowed on the property. Violation of the above will be grounds for owner to require RENTER to leave the premises and forfeit any rent. MAINTENANCE: Coastal Owner Services makes every attempt to insure that the home or villa you have rented is in good working order when you arrive. If you do encounter a maintenance problem in the home or villa, it will be handled in a timely and professional manner. Coastal Owner Services, Inc. is not responsible for resort amenities such as scheduled or unscheduled pool and spa closures, etc. Rental rates will NOT be adjusted due to any malfunction of equipment. Coastal Owner Services or it’s Agent may re-enter the rental property at a reasonable time for the purpose of routine maintenance, inspections, or repairs.
