  This apartment is located on a floor high enough you won't hear traffic, it is in Chinatown, (yum). The buses are all right in from of Longs. Great location. The front door lock gave us fits everytime we tried to open it, the toilet moves when you sit on it, and I am sure Bob has that all taken care of by now. The view from the bedroom is fantastic. Everything you need for cooking is there. Loads of tiny places to eat in the area. We enjoyed our stay.

  The local chocolate, flowers and coffee was a nice touch. I appreciated the local written info found in the condo advising not to jaywalk, one of my colleagues got a ticket for jaywalking in downtown Honolulu. I enjoyed having a TV in the bedroom as well as the living room.I did get a rental car since I got a great rate, but you don’t need one. It was nice to have a reserved parking space downtown where parking is at a premium. This condo overall is a great value. As far as the location: you can’t beat it. Since you are staying in the business/financial district it is super quiet on the weekends. From here you able to walk to some of the best restaurants in Honolulu and being on a budget I love taking advantage the happy hour specials and reasonable priced places to get lunch for those working downtown. You are right in the middle of the First Friday Hawaii Gallery Walk, a monthly event in downtown Honolulu with art exhibits, galleries, shops, entertainment & restaurant specials. Aloha Tower Marketplace is right nearby, with Gordon Biersch restaurant (love the local live music several nights a week). At about 5 pm every day you can watch the hula dancers at Aloha Tower in front of Hooters as the Dinner cruise ship the Star of Honolulu leaves the dock. I could still walk (OK it was a long walk, but I need the excersise) to Ala Moana Beach Park at the beginning of Waikiki (right across from Ala Moana Mall) to enjoy the beach (beach parking is free there). Closer nearby is Kaakako Waterfront Park where there is a Children’s Discovery Center. Back at the condo my toddler enjoyed the pool and I the hot tub and it was never crowded! I would highly recommend this place for someone just moving to the island, business travelers, traveling nurses, military, or as a great alternative to Waikiki. Stay a few days here before or after you have experienced Waikiki or if you a catching a cruise ship, or want a comfortable base to explore the island.

  This was a great location. Everything was in walking distance. The condo itself was very clean and extremely comfortable. Marianne is thoughtful and we felt she went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We look forward to staying there again.

  My husband and I stayed here for 3 months when we first moved to Hawaii. The location was perfect for both of us. He only had to walk across the street to his office and I had a short bus ride to my office in Waikiki. We were able to walk to some of the best restaurants in Honolulu. I was able to walk to the Safeway to do the shopping. Long's Drug Store and Ross Dress for Less are on the first floor of the building. Just around the corner is Macy's. The Fort Street Farmer's Market is every Tuesday and Friday from 7:30 to 2 PM. You can't beat fresh fruit and vegetables!

  Thank you so much Bob and Marianne for a wonderful stay in the condo! We had a great time. The condo is lovely, and the location is very central to all the fun we had. The place is neat and clean, perfect for our needs. We will be back!!!

  I spent 5 wonderful weeks at the Executive Center condo,where I was doing contract work downtown. I was able to walk to work, and I was able to take the bus just about anywhere else, so I didn't have to rent a car. This saved me alot of money right there because you usually have to rent a parking space to park a car downtown. It was so conveniently located - lots of nice restaurants and hassle free shopping. Aloha Tower Marketplace and Chinatown were really fun places to explore! There is even a Costco a short busride away. I had previously stayed in Waikiki, where there was alot of traffic and "hussle-bussle" 24 hours a day, and this condo was so much more serene. The beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets definitely contributed to the sense of peace and quiet. It was so nice to come home after a hard day's work and do a few laps in the pool or just relax in the jacuzzi. I do appreciate a good meal out once in a while, and there are a wide variety of excellent restaurants within minutes of walking distance, and even a great one in the lobby! It was just as nice to be able to keep some fresh food in the fridge and cook up a simple dinner right at home. There is a Safeway & Long's Drugs just a few blocks away. I saved a lot of money by not eating in restaurants, The condo is very clean and nicely decorated. exactly as shown in the pictures.There a nice TV and ipod player, and internet of course All in all, my time spent at the Executive Center condo was top-notch. I would definitely stay there again if the need arises. Many thanks to Marianne and Bob, the owners, for promptly getting back to us with our questions. They were both very helpful and great to deal with. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend this place as a great alternative to Waikiki, especially if you are on a budget. But you can hop on a bus and enjoy the beaches and night life of Waikiki in a matter of minutes.

  This condo is comfortable, tasteful, and relaxing. Loved watching the sun setting into the ocean. Lots of little touches that reflect the kindness and good taste of the owners, like gift basket with coffee, tea and candy, organic soap, all-cotton linens, and a modern yet tropical feel. The location is great, with shops, ethnic eateries, farmers' market (Fridays), museums, etc. all nearby. Owners were very helpful when I called them with a question. The staff in the building is very friendly, and the Hukilau restaurant in the lobby has a great happy hour with live Hawaiian music. I'm so glad that I stayed downtown in this unique location instead of being one among throngs of tourists in Waikiki! I'll definitely be back!
