  We did have a fabulous time. We're a little jet lagged as we spent last night in San Jose and just got home but we definitely would like to visit your beautiful house again sometime. What a place you have there! It really was a great vacation.

  We had a wonderful time in Costa Rica. The house is awesome and the view is grand. The first night was strange trying to sleep with the surf as big and loud as it was but we soon got used to it and it was so relaxing. The Parrot alarm clock in the early morning was a great way to start our day. Judy and everyone from the hotel was so helpful and made our stay something we will never forget. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

  Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful time at your beautiful beach house. Of all the places we visited, Playa Negra and the time we spent at your place was by far the highlight of our trip. Now I know why you give directions straight from the airport to Playa Negra, cuss why go anywhere else. It is truly paradise! The friend that we brought with us didn't get a chance to look up your place online before we left, he completely lost it when we pulled up to your house. We definately felt that we were living the life of luxury and definitely will be back. THANK YOU SO MUCH! WE HAD A BLAST!

  We had a wonderful time and some great surf - it was a lot of fun. We didn't want to leave, and defintately want to return. In fact we were thinking about an extended stay in the future and will contact you well in advance

  Relaxed? I've never been more relaxed in my life. I'm glad you mentioned the rocking chairs as I pretty much stayed there the whole. When anyone asked me what my plans were for the day I responded I am going to sit here and watch the sunset (that was 10am in the morning) I had my binoculars so I was able to watch our surfers catch some great waves. Everything worked out fine. I do think your house is the best location on the beach. Thanks again

  We had a wonderful time in Playa Negra, definitely on our list to go back. The waves were awesome and the locals were very welcoming. We drove to Tamarindo one day to do shopping and realized how much more beautiful Playa Negra is. We just want to say thank you and we'll be back.

  Our family--my wife, two girls (14 and 11) and I-- stayed her in February 2010. I would highly recommend it. This is a beautiful setting at a reasonable price, guests have access to the pool at the Hotel Playa Negra (a few minutes down the beach), and it affords a relaxing, secure, no-frills place to spread out and enjoy the beach. The twin beds in each of the three bedrooms are comfortable, the two full bathrooms each have strong showers. The porch overlooking the ocean is a highlight, and we spent most of the daylight hours (when not at the beach) just soaking in the beauty of the coastline. Nearby restaurants include Lola's at Playa Avellanas (which is a don't miss kind of place), Restaurant/Bar Latino (I think) on the road to Paraiso, and the restaurant at Cabinas Las Olas is very good, as is the restaurant at the Hotel Playa Negra.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
