This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2-story lake cottage that sleeps 2-8 comfortably, was refurbished in the spring of 2007. Located on the east side of the lake it is perfectly positioned to take in a breathtaking evening sunset while relaxing on the Adirondack chairs under the shade of the cooling trees.
A wall of glass French doors in the Great room make it a perfect place to sit and watch the lake and admire the gardens throughout the day. Beautiful decorated with oak floors, and a classic combination of antique and modern furniture and accessories, it truly is a home from home.
The adjoining dining room opens up to cathedral ceilings and has a large antique oak table with seating for 8, perfect for a family meal and many evenings of cards or board games or just to create memories.
The additional family room boasts a TV, DVD and French doors onto the lakefront. A wonderful place for the younger generation to relax. For those who need to keep in touch with the world, this home has wireless Internet access.
The full kitchen is completely furnished with a full-size refrigerator and dishwasher a stove with copper hood, and a full size oven. We also provide a coffee pot, toaster oven, pots and pans, cutlery and china. For outside dining we have a grill and a picnic table on the lakefront.
A laundry area is also provided
The cottage boasts four private bedrooms and a large sleeping porch.
On the first floor there is a queen bedroom ideal for people with limited mobility. A ground floor modern bathroom with a toilet and shower is located next to this bedroom
The second floor contains the master bedroom and has a Queen sized comfortable bed and views of the lake. Decorated in a traditional style with antique furniture and country style bed covers
Bedroom 2 has two twin beds and leads to the sleeping porch, which has 2 double beds and a large window overlooking the lake.
Bedroom 3 has one twin bed
A pretty full bathroom finishes the upstairs accommodation.
The Cottage is directly on the water with level lake frontage, the waters edge offers excellent swimming quality and fishing right at the back door or you might want to just sit and relax on the dock with a coffee or glass of wine. If you are looking for exercise, you can paddleboat onto the lake and enjoy the view from the water.
Enjoy breakfast in the dining room as you watch the sun come up over the trees; and a candlelight dinner on the lakeside, which affords a breath-taking view up to Canandaigua, an ideal home for a memorable vacation with family or friends
Spend your day simply relaxing and enjoying the views or by visiting some of the numerous nearby attractions, many within a 10 minute drive. In the evening, simply relax with a warm fire dancing in the fire pit in front of you. Then later that evening, enjoy viewing a starlit night sky and twinkling lights from the town.
For family activities, two parks are nearby. Canandaigua, is only a 2-mile drive away, it has a water park and a swimming beach with lifeguards, which is excellent for very small children and picnic areas.
Two public golf courses are within driving distance, both within 15 miles away.
The Finger Lakes are known around the world for its beautiful fall foliage. You will not find fall color more dramatic anywhere, we promise.
