This is the perfect flat to live and enjoy Paris. A very charming one bedroom flat located at the heart of the 7th arrondissement one of the most exclusive areas in Paris, on the seventh floor (8 US) with lift plus a few steps to climb. It has two small balconies giving you breathtaking view of the Eiffel tower. As it is facing west, do not be surprised to get wonderful sunsets as well!
Situated at the La Bourdonnais Avenue, just a couple of yards from Champ de Mars gardens and the Eiffel Tower. A large choice of shopping facilities can be found in the surrounding area. From cafés, restaurants, fromageries, wine cellars, dry cleaners to more elaborated options like the Petrossian caviar shop at avenue la Tour Maubourg. From the flat you walk a couple of blocks trough rue Champs de Mars or Avenue Motte-Picquet and come to famous Rue Cler to buy fresh food at its famous grocery shops, find nice "trendy" restaurants, or just to have a coffee. It is also within walking distance to the brand new Quai Branly Museum designed by French architect Jean Nouvel.
The hole flat has been refurbished recently. We aimed to give it a convivial atmosphere and special effort was made to make it comfortable and practical. You can expect a comfortable shower. Despite the fact of being a one bedroom, the unique mezzanine can easily accommodate two more people. On the mezzanine you will also be able to work or simply get your e-mails as a computer is available
All home appliances are modern and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a unique view of the typical Parisians roof-tops.

The apartment was wonderful. Spacious and the view was spectacular. A true joy. Each night before I put my daughter to bed, we'd wrap ourselves up and step out onto the balcony to look out at the lights and the Eiffel Tower. My daughter still talks of it and I don't think we'll ever be able to visit Paris again without a view of the Tower. It's an ideal situation, particularly for those with children (as long as they are at an age where they are safe with stairs). I wouldn't recommend sleeping six there unless they have swapped out the couch for a hide-a-bed but it is more than comfortable for 4. It does get chilly in the apartment in the winter and the couch is vinyl so I found myself taking the comforter off of the bed so that we could wrap ourselves in it while sitting on the couch. The temperatures when we stayed were quite cold though so during more moderate weather or warmer weather, this would be less of an issue. If I had one suggestion for the owners, it would be to get a new couch or to cover it with a cloth slipcover to make it more cozy; a blanket for use on the couch would also be welcome. The kitchen is small but efficient and contains a washer/dryer unit. The view from the kitchen, not shown in the pictures on VRBO, was a favorite -- it looks out onto old copper roofing that is unusual and I found, artistic. The bathroom, as shown in the picture, is small but again, like the kitchen, efficient and clean. The small (very) lift starts a stair level above the entry and ends 1-2 floors (I can't remember exactly) below the apartment. They are narrow and wind up. I had no problem with them, even carrying a sleeping child and a bag of groceries up the entire stairwell but if stairs are difficult or impossible for you, it is something to consider. The location is fantastic, short walking distance to the park (with a number of options for young children), the Eiffel Tower, groceries, restaurants and the Metro. The area is safe, quiet and yet populated and I never once felt uncomfortable walking alone with my young child. I really cannot say enough about the location; it surpassed my wildest dreams for what I was looking for. I've already recommended the apartment to a number of my friends and cannot wait to go back.
