I enjoyed my stay at the treasure house! It was a great stay for me and a few friends. It was raining one of the days and there was plenty available to do in the house, such as chess, games and more. Plus there was a fire pit and grill which made it easy to prepare food. It had all the essentials for cooking and even a working dishwasher. It was like a home away from home. My friends had a blast and we all agreed we would stay again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We are two families who live in separate cities (Minneapolis and Chicago), and needed a place to bring our kids where we could stay comfortably for a weekend. Treasure house was perfect for us. Plenty of space, clean on arrival, and a well-stocked kitchen (we didn't need to buy spices, for example, and there were plenty of pots, utensils, etc for cooking). We were able to rest comfortably, feed our kids and spend evenings by the cozy little furnace for wine and conversation after the kids were in bed. There were deer in our backyard when we woke up, so the kids had fun "hunting" them through the snow. Lastly, the owners were readily available by text/phone if we needed something, which was reassuring (although we didn't need anything other than to ask where to leave the recycling). We are so greatful to them for sharing their cabin with us! We hope to return for another winter getaway as our families grow.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

I rented this cabin for a layed back weekend for my friend's bachelorette party. The experience was amazing! There were 9 of us staying here and it felt completely roomy and comfortable. The Treasure house was very clean and well stocked with everyday needs. There was a beautiful backyard (with a family of deer living in the field) plus an aesome front porch. We loved the decor and the furniture as well as the sunlight windows. It was the perfect distance from a grocery store/small town and it still felt secluded. The rental process was very easy and the owner was very kind and flexible. Everyone loved the stay and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Treasure house was a great place to have our girls weekend. House was big enough for all of us to have our space but not to big that we couldn't enjoy our weekend together. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Great directions, super easy to find. Mark was great to work with. We will definetly be back again. Thanks for everything.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We loved having a "home" to retreat to after days spent enjoying the attractions of the Dells. Very peaceful and cozy--exactly what the Dells proper does not offer! We loved being able to cook our own meals, though be sure to bring your own provisions--a local referred us to the Wallmart Superstore as the best option for groceries. Beds were very comfy and warm. Mark even went out of his way to leave us a container of coffee after we had inquired about whether there was a coffee maker! (We had our own amongst our provisions, but really appreciated the gesture.) If there were any issues, it was the number of chairs at the dining table--there were 6 chairs for our 7 people. Might not be an issue in summer when you'd probably want to eat outdoors anyway, but it forced a little creativity mid-winter. We would definitely plan to visit again next trip to the Dells!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

The Treasure House was very nice. This was the first time I use VRBO and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised that things worked completely smoothly and the place itself was just what I expected. It's a nice cozy cabin and location. I wouldn't recommend trying to fit 10 people into this location. We had four adults and two children and it was perfect.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was the first time our family has ever rented a house for the holidays and I was lucky enough to find the "Treasure House". This was an amazing present for our whole family! The house was just what we hoped it would be and more. Mark was so easy to work with and so very accommodating! He even texted to make sure we got in okay and wish us a Merry Christmas. The house was decorated for the holiday with two trees and some wonderful homey Christmas touches. My family was so amazed and thrilled with our find and we made several wonderful memories thanks to "The Treasure Home"! I would highly recommend this place to any family looking for a wooded retreat in a fantastic setting with all the perfect touches! Thanks so much to Mark and his wife for helping to make our holiday so very memorable by opening their treasure and sharing it with us!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This was my group's first time to Wisconsin and our first time staying in a cabin, and I have to say.....this visit set the bar very high. The cabin was immaculate, the kitchen was stocked with every utensil and dish you could possibly need, and the surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. We cooked out, we played games, we enjoyed the wilderness. Our visit could not have been more perfect. The owner, Mark, was a delight and helped us with every question we had. He always answered his phone if you need him. We will definitely be returning to the Treasure House!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had a group of 7 ladies and we really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for all and the layout of the house really maximizes the space. Mark was very pleasant to work with and quick to respond to questions. The Treasure House is truly a home away from home!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.
